As the UNC government celebrates one year in office, one UNC Senator is rating the government's performance nine point eight out of ten. Senator Phillip Alexander says he believes the government is doing a great job, but he's minusing some points on account of his own behavior. Despite this he says, he believes he inspires some of the Prime Minister's utterances. Rynessa Cutting reports.

00:09I would give us a strong 9.8 out of 10.
00:27Point, two points.
00:29There's always room for improvement, you know, and I myself would have made some mistakes.
00:35I think I might be responsible for one of the point, two points.
00:38So I think that we all, there's a learning curve.
00:42It was a sharp learning curve for me to move from an activist to being in government.
00:47And I think I'm getting there.
01:06I only took down my video after one of my attorneys called me to say one of the lawsuits that
01:11you are bringing against somebody, you are going to undermine it with this video.
01:16So if you want to have the lawsuit, you have to take down the video and I did.
01:19But I don't, I don't take down my own statements.
01:23I stand by what I say, what I believe.
01:25That has been, that's what brought me to here.
01:27That's what helped bring the UNC back into government.
01:32Those strong voices.
01:33I hear, I hear Kamala Passat, possessor, the Honorable Prime Minister, speak sometimes.
01:38And I feel proud.
01:39I hear my words.
01:40I hear my words come out of Barry Pallarat's mouth.
01:43I know that I've empowered and helped and encouraged.
01:45I know I've made this government strong.
01:47I know their supporters now are not being bullied on social media anymore because they know that they have people
01:52the likes of me.
01:53But I want to say this, and I want to say it clearly, that there is, there has to be
02:00a shift in, from an activist to a member of government.
02:04I get that.
02:05I get that and that it is a learning curve and I am doing my best.
02:08Has the Prime Minister, has the Prime Minister, has the Prime Minister cautioned you about in recent times?
02:14Not in any way.
02:15She said if they come for you, I take the head.
02:17Well, I am making that I'm planning on saying something that you take about down and you've got that but
02:23I know.
02:23I hope that when you run out of my department, you're not getting intimidated.
02:27I wish that we have something fresh and going on.
02:30Do you want to think so?
02:33Well, I want to say that I've got one thing.
02:34Because I have a problem with, you can't wait, I'm politisé, not sure, but I haven't been used to,
02:41I can't wait, but I can't wait.
02:44Hey, man.
02:45I want to say that I can't wait and look for you.
02:46If that's another song, I want to say, well, you're not yet.
02:47You
