The father and brother of the Ulu Tiram police station attacker have been sentenced to 30 years' imprisonment each by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Monday (April 27) after pleading guilty to charges related to violent ideology.

00:07to 30 years imprisonment for terrorism-related charges by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on

00:15Judge Nurulhuda Nuraini Mohamad Noor sentenced 64-year-old Radin Imran Radin Mohamad Yasin
00:22and his 36-year-old eldest son Radin Romula after they changed their plea to guilty.
00:29Radin Imran was sentenced to 30 years for spreading violent ideological beliefs, supporting
00:35terrorist acts and possessing firearms for terrorism-related activities.
00:42He also received an additional three-year sentence for possessing a book linked to a terrorist
00:48group.
00:49His son Radin Romula was sentenced to 30 years for providing support to terrorist acts and
00:56three years for possessing materials linked to the Islamic State group.
01:01The court ordered all sentences to run concurrently from May 17, 2024.
01:08The case is linked to the deadly attack on the Ulu-Tiram police station on May 17, 2024,
01:16where two police constables were killed and another officer injured.
01:20The attacker was later shot dead at the scene.
01:23The court also sentenced Radin Imran's wife, Rozna Jantan, to four years imprisonment after
01:30she pleaded guilty to failing to provide information related to violent ideology.
01:36Meanwhile, two daughters were discharged and acquitted after the prosecution withdrew charges
