00:24In Johor, the investigations against the suspect were carried out under Section 323 of the Penal
00:33Code, Section 18 of the Domestic Violence Act, 1994, for allegedly assaulting his wife, as
00:40well as Section 31 of the Child Act, 2001.
00:45During a press conference on Sunday, Commissioner Kumar said police investigation included the
00:50suspect's police report, which said that his son had gone missing, as well as a report
00:56from his wife claiming he assaulted her.
00:59He said the first police report was lodged by the suspect's wife on July 22, in which
01:05she claimed she was physically abused by the suspect.
01:08Police subsequently opened an investigation paper under Section 323 of the Penal Code and
