01:31The Celtic handed new contracts to Liam Scales and James Forrest this week and both come into the starting line
01:37-up, Forrest starting in the league for the first time since the 4-0 win over Falkirk at the end
01:43of October.
01:43Arthur and Tonexia are the players dropping out of the starting 11, Alistair Johnson is back on the bench having
01:49missed most of the season.
01:52Some big names missing for Falkirk, they've lost goalkeeper Scott Bain to injury and Philip Lisa and Liam Henderson have
01:59since joined him on the injury list after last week's disappointment.
02:03Nicky Hogarth replaces Bain for just a second Premiership start of the season with Keelan Adams and Lewis Nielsen also
02:10coming in.
02:21Yeah, I think he's giving that straight to Calvin Miller, what can Falkirk do here?
02:25Now it's Yates looking into the box, Ralston gets it half clear, comes to Spencer who is in the volley,
02:32terrific save from Sunisalo to deny him.
02:35It was the best effort of the game so far, and it came from Brad Spencer, the Falkirk captain, dreadful
02:42ball there from Yank, and that was bottom corner bound, but for Sunisalo's intervention.
02:52Scales arched forward by tens of thousands of Celtic fans.
03:01Adams, here ahead of Forrest.
03:05A little bit lucky there, Keelan Adams, and Falkirk have given it up, and it's Ralston!
03:12Good stop from Hogarth, feel the confidence from his fine strike in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
03:20Falkirk combos the architects of their own downfall there, Ralston just trying to find the bottom corner.
03:27Falkirk have it back, Spencer.
03:37Adams closed down by Maida, the keeper's out of his goal, and Maida scores!
03:45And it's all down to his hard work yet again!
03:50He just never gives it up!
03:54Well, Falkirk had comfortable possession here, Keelan Adams closed down by Maida, Hogarth's in no-man's land, and Maida punishes
04:04him to the fullest.
04:08Falkirk trying desperately to get back, but it's pinpoint stuff from the guys in Maida.
04:19Falkirk has been well in the game, looking to respond here, and it's Calvin Miller just wide!
04:28Just a lot of side-foot volley there from Calvin Miller, it's not far away.
04:38Miller clips up one back to Spencer, changing the angle.
04:42Swung in, it's a good ball, and it's a really big chance for Dylan Tate.
04:47He looks to the heavens knowing he should have tested Sinisalo there.
04:51It's really well worked.
04:54He's onside, Dylan Tate.
05:05Brozio, he's the latest to be closed down by Dyson Maida, who gets it back.
05:10And now it's Tierney with a chance!
05:12And the goal!
05:17Kira Tierney doubles the advantage just before the interval!
05:23Well, they haven't learned a lesson, it was Brozio having his pocket pick that time,
05:29and when Maida got it back, he fed Tierney, who rifled it into the roof of the net,
05:35via the underside of the crossbar, and Celtic have a two-goal lead to take it at half-time,
05:44courtesy of Kieran Tierney's sixth-league goal of the season.
05:47Kieran Tierney goes to the pass.
05:53Kieran Tierney's sixth-league goal of the season, and also Kieran gibt himself a row of the season.
05:54Skills...
05:56gets to it.
06:04Gregor finding a bit more space in the second half and it's Nugren trying to feed it through for Yang,
06:09Yang!
06:10Second time around, it's in!
06:15With flags up over to the far side.
06:20Let's take a closer look, Yang has gone just too early there.
06:27And so denied what would have been a tenth goal of the season.
06:36And there's Yang for Ralston.
06:42Takes a cross out.
06:47Here by Keelan Adams.
06:51Tierney will return it, it's a good-looking ball, Yang just can't get there.
07:00He just seemed to stumble at the last there, Yang.
07:05Good play from Lewis Nielsen.
07:07Might are still trying to get back at him, but Stewart picks up, feeds it out to Wilson.
07:15Fires it across, goal, and...
07:17Well, Barney Stewart was in the right place.
07:21Perhaps it just came at him too quickly to be able to direct it.
07:27Fired in from Wilson.
07:28Just needed a more subtle touch here from Stewart.
07:42Miller's on that.
07:45Ross squeezes it on for McCann.
07:47He's allowed to continue.
07:50Trying to find Wilson here, Wilson takes it down and goes for goal!
07:53Oh, what a finish that is!
07:54From Cariel Wilson!
07:56And Falkirk are back in it!
07:59Wonderful hit!
08:02Simply unstoppable!
08:04And all of a sudden...
08:06Might not be quite as straightforward for Celtic.
08:10I think he's just onside.
08:13Good first touch, but what about that for a second?
08:17Absolutely blasts it beyond Sinisalo.
08:21That is a humdinger from Cariel Wilson.
08:28Looks like Chamberlain looking to get involved in this free kick as well.
08:32But Nugren...
08:33...hoped to add to his 20 goals for the season.
08:37Denied by a decent save...
08:40...from Nicky Hogarth.
08:44So see if they get the corner.
08:46It's Nugren...
08:47...to swing one in, glanced on, good save Hogarth!
08:50Maida with the scissors kick.
08:52Wide a target.
08:53It was a good stop from the Falkirk keeper.
08:56As Scales messed it with the heads.
08:58Instinctive from Hogarth.
09:02Here comes Oxlade-Chamberlain.
09:05Powering forwards.
09:07The slide rule passed, didn't come off.
09:09Tenekte gets it back to him, though.
09:17It goes against Sebastian Tenekte.
09:19Away from Spencer.
09:22It's going to come for Maida!
09:24That will do it!
09:26Dyson Maida!
09:28The man of the moment!
09:31He has been the key figure for Celtic all afternoon.
09:37Good play from Tenekte.
09:39Comes all the way through to Maida.
09:41Who tucks it under Hogarth.
09:44And Celtic's two-goal advantage is restored.
09:49With just seven minutes left to play.
09:54Scales with the last clearing header of the game.
09:57As Celtic secure the victory.
09:59And the three points to move level at the top of the table with Harps behind.
10:04Just on goal difference now.
10:07And so Celtic have done their bit.
10:10And the title race for now.
10:12It's over to Harps and Rangers.
10:14It finishes at Celtic Park.
10:16Celtic three, pocket one.
10:21Tough game today.
10:22Knew it would be as well, too.
10:24I thought of Falkirk.
10:25I thought they might have shown maybe a hangover from last week.
10:31Didn't look that way at all.
10:32They came out and played.
10:33And the pitch is so fantastic that anybody would want to play here.
10:37So from our viewpoint, we're delighted we've won.
10:41We played some really decent stuff.
10:44And stuck at it.
10:45And at a time when Falkirk came roaring into the game.
10:47I thought that we saw it through.
10:50And Dyson Maeda was fantastic.
10:53It was a big challenge today to see mentally where the players were.
10:56You know, it's been a hard week for us.
10:57And I'm delighted to say that they...
11:00And I'm very proud of the performance that they put on here today.
11:03Very, very gutsy.
11:03Very brave performance.
11:06We didn't sit back.
11:07We just tried to take the game to Celtic as much as we possibly could.
11:10I thought Celtic were bang at it in the first half.
11:12I've not seen them press as well as that in a long time.
11:18So Celtic go joint top of the Premiership.
11:21Piling the pressure on the teams that are playing tomorrow, Mikey.
11:25But they didn't get it all their own way today.
11:27Falkirk had opportunities and spells in the game when they were very good.
11:30Yeah, well, I mean, obviously you heard John McGlynn just, you know, comment on exactly that point.
11:37You know, he was happy with the performance.
11:40You know, discussing the fact that it's not been an easy week for them.
11:43But the performance level was very good from Falkirk.
11:46This is an absolutely sensational strike from Brad Spencer and a really good save from Sinisalo.
11:52But, yeah, I think that Celtic started quite brightly and then Falkirk absolutely came into this game.
11:58And, you know, for a good chunk of the game they were looking very threatening.
12:02Unfortunately for them, you know, the problem was that they just never converted.
12:07When they had this bit of pressure and they were moving the ball towards Celtic's goal and looking threatening,
12:13they never really, you know, managed to get their noses in front, which I think they probably needed to,
12:18after obviously what happened last week, the difficulties building up to this game.
12:23They just, I think that, you know, that first goal was huge in this game.
12:25And unfortunately for Falkirk, obviously, they were playing catch-up.
12:28Yeah, there we are.
12:30Dyson Maeda, Martin Neal talking about them there.
12:32It's an outstanding afternoon.
12:33But this first goal is him in a nutshell.
12:36Yeah, it is.
12:36There's no doubt about that.
12:37But, you know, for me, looking at this as a midfielder, Brad Spencer,
12:41go and commit Callum McGregor, go and attack that space.
12:43You've got four or five Falkirk teammates to go and bounce the ball off and attack.
12:48Instead, he slows it up and he allows Callum McGregor, one player, to affect what's going on.
12:53But even in this moment, he needs to make another angle for Liam McCann,
12:57pull off, and then he can go and attack the space again.
13:00But all of a sudden, with two passes, they're in their own half.
13:03And Dyson Maeda, as you said, starts to apply pressure and they get a go from that.
13:07But that comes from what should have been a pretty positive and dangerous moment for Falkirk.
13:13Within two passes, they lose the ball.
13:16The goalkeeper's out trying to offer the angle for Keelan Adams.
13:19That looks easy, by the way, but it's not that easy from that distance to get that in the back
13:23of the net.
13:23No, I mean, it's a good goal and you're absolutely spot on.
13:25I mean, Dyson Maeda is, you know, showing exactly what he's all about there.
13:30But I just think from Falkirk's perspective, that's one that was easily avoided.
13:34And not even just avoided, they could have had a promising attack there, but they didn't.
13:40And they're 1-0 down. And that was a huge one for them.
13:42Well, they were shortly 2-0 down and Maeda heavily involved again.
13:46This time, again, winning the ball back.
13:48But from then on in, it's all about Tierney.
13:49Yeah, and then, look, this is, you know, very much in the same vein as what we're talking about
13:53with Celtic and Maeda pressurising.
13:56But it's Kieran Tierney, you know, in conjunction with him.
13:59He comes in field with Brogio.
14:02They latch on, they win the ball, and he doesn't stop.
14:04No.
14:05He continues and gets on his bike to go up in support on overlapping the front players.
14:10And it's an absolutely fantastic strike.
14:13No keeper is stopping that.
14:15And you're just feeling at that point, again, it's 2-0 down just before half-time.
14:20You're wondering whether Falkirk are going to have any route back into this game.
14:23Second half, they were pretty good, but it just felt like every moment in that game,
14:28every juncture where you felt like Falkirk had to do something to really affect the game
14:32or potentially get something out of it, it didn't quite happen.
14:35Even at, you know, 2-0 down, plenty of opportunities.
14:37They get that first goal to get 2-1.
14:40Nicely teed up. Let's take a look at it.
14:42I mean, this is outstanding. What a finish this is.
14:45Yeah, it's a brilliant, brilliant goal.
14:46I mean, we've seen some absolutely brilliant goals here.
14:49And this one is right up there.
14:51The desire from Wilson to get in behind.
14:54The first touch, pretty damn good.
14:56And the second one is right out of the top draw.
15:00But you look at this here, we've circled him,
15:02and that's what I was talking about before, that desire.
15:04Look at it, he's got the afterburners on, sprinting in behind, timed perfectly.
15:09And I suppose from a defensive perspective, you're probably thinking to yourself,
15:12well, we're okay. You know, he's drifting a little bit wider.
15:15It's going to take a sensational strike to score, but that's exactly what it was.
15:19Oh, you're not expecting that, let's be honest.
15:20No, it's brilliant.
15:21But it just felt that at that moment where they're getting themselves potentially back into it,
15:26it just petered out slightly.
15:28Yeah, they didn't quite get the other fans, did they?
15:28Yeah, they didn't quite get the other fans, did they?
15:30It just sort of calmed things down, and they managed to sort of reassert themselves in that game.
15:34And it just, it sort of, it came, you know, the momentum just came away from Falkirk.
15:41And ultimately, obviously, Celtic winning the game fairly comfortably in terms of the scoreline.
15:45But I wouldn't say across the 90 minutes it was a comfortable one for them this afternoon.
15:49What made it slightly more comfortable was when Maeda scored his second of the afternoon,
15:54capping off what was, you know, as we mentioned, a top performance from him.
15:57Hitting form when he had not scored for a long period of time.
16:00I think it was 17 games.
16:0117, yeah.
16:01But hitting form at the right time.
16:03Yep.
16:05And this has just been proactive.
16:07You know, if you watch Maeda here drifting towards the back post against Adams,
16:11but he's constantly moving.
16:13He's the one that reacts quickest.
16:14And then it's a nice, neat finish to angle that into the corner.
16:18Hogarth is slightly blinded by the players in front of him.
16:21He can't really see until it's too late and the ball's past them.
16:24But, yeah, I mean, look, Celtic have suffered and they've struggled up the top end of the park all season
16:30long.
16:31Maeda coming to the fore and scoring a couple of goals today.
16:35Obviously, that's three in his last two games now.
16:38Yeah.
16:38Yeah, you could say it's timing pretty well.
16:40Four games to go.
16:41As much as they're not hugely convincing in terms of their overall play,
16:46they are winning games.
16:48Four left.
16:49I mean, it's all about winning at this stage.
16:51The performance goes out the window a wee bit.
16:52Well, I mean, it's been like that for, you know, a large chunk of the campaign,
16:56pretty much since Martin O'Neill's come back in.
16:58There's maybe been, you know, a few games where you're saying they're looking absolutely on it.
17:03A lot of games where you thought, unconvincing, but it's wins, wins.
17:08And that is, as you said, at this point, it's all that really counts.
17:11Yeah, agreed.
17:12OK.
17:13Aberdeen could ease any relegation fears with the win over Kilmarnock.
17:17But if the reverse happens, it's all to play for in the final four games.
17:22Five points separate Kilmarnock in the playoff place from Aberdeen.
17:25That could be eight.
17:26And relative safety for Steven Robinson and the Dons come full time.
17:30Or Kelly could really crank up the pressure around here
17:32and give themselves a lifeline.
17:34After his first win as Aberdeen boss, Steven Robinson makes just one change.
17:38Emmanuel Guiamfi has a concussion.
17:40So Mitchell-Frame starts at left back.
17:42Mats Knuster is back in the squad for the first time since January after a head knock.
17:45Goalkeeper Max Stryak starts for Kelly for the first time since his heart surgery.
17:49A remarkable story.
17:50Nicky Kleschenko replaces Bruce Anderson for his first start.
17:59Nisbet looking for Ola Sanja.
18:01Aberdeen immediately on the front foot from kick-off.
18:04And Cameron will accept the throw-in.
18:12Frame's throw.
18:13Finds Milne.
18:15Good touch.
18:16Picks out Armstrong.
18:18Lays it forward for Aremu.
18:22Dream start for Aberdeen.
18:28Not even a minute on the clock.
18:30And Afi Zaremu is punching the air in celebration.
18:36Kamarnak undone on the road early on
18:38yet again
18:40it's neatly worked by Armstrong
18:42it takes a nick on its way through
18:44it's not the best strike from Aremu
18:46but Aberdeen don't care
18:48they hit the front straight away
18:52and Kamarnak have given themselves an early mountain to climb
18:57third game in a row
18:58on the road that Kamarnak have conceded in the first minute
19:02now looking to respond
19:03on Thompson's free kick
19:04Tishpola
19:06and Mitov has tipped that onto the bar
19:08and Hugel has put it over the top at the second time of asking
19:14Kamarnak have responded well to the goal
19:16that's a top save from Dimitar Mitov
19:25Neil McCann the latest is trying to dress Kamarnak's
19:29woeful away form which has plagued him for
19:32several seasons now
19:36he's got pace to burn but Stenger has matched him
19:38and that is terrific defending from the Kamarnak centre-back
19:46and now the counter's on
19:48Hugo is hearing through the middle
19:51and Mitchell frame gets back into position for Aberdeen
19:55well not many can match the pace of Toyosi Ulasanya
19:59when he puts it in front of himself like this to chase after
20:01what a well-timed challenge that was
20:04from George Stenger
20:08otherwise Ulasanya was through on goal
20:14Kilti
20:18Kilti
20:18good feet
20:20Tishmitov but comfortable enough for the Aberdeen goalkeeper
20:27Hamarnak have reacted really well to going behind so early but no goal for Neil McCann in his side
20:38Armstrong Cameron floats it across glanced away by Stenger
20:45now it's one back by Malloy
20:47lovely feet from Malloy and Jensen picks out Ulasanya
20:53well the touch was really good
20:55from Toyosi Ulasanya
20:57the finish less so
21:01he's been a thorn in Kamarnak's side this afternoon
21:04missing the finishing touch
21:08Thompson clears
21:10Kilmarnak just one win away from home all season
21:14it was at Tannadice in September
21:16Aberdeen looking to kill their challenge off
21:19Cameron miscues
21:21and it ends up in the grateful arms of Max Stryak
21:27lovely layoff from Kevin Nisbet
21:28frame delivers the ball well
21:31Cameron should do better here
21:38Kilmarnak still have life
21:42they need a goal
21:43to show for the promising performance
21:47Leschenko coming forwards
21:48oh bamboozles Aremu
21:50and clips it in
21:51to Spola
21:55well he could have had two goals
21:57instead he's found the crossbar twice
22:00the first time
22:01it was Mitoff to the rescue
22:03the second time
22:05it's a midfielder who should find the target
22:16but Audrey
22:18going increasingly
22:20nervy
22:21lovely ball
22:22into Kilty
22:26Silky first touch
22:27got the strike away
22:30and Dimitar Mitoff
22:32was equal to it
22:34and Kamarnak
22:35need more
22:43Kilty
22:47in comes the cross
22:49Milne stoops
22:50oh and Milne finds his own crossbar
22:52and for the third time in the game
22:55Aberdeen's bar has been rattled
22:59twice by
23:00Tisbola
23:01now Jack Milne
23:01he's a lucky boy
23:04Stephen Robinson
23:05cutting a
23:06rather exasperated figure
23:10in it comes
23:11Milne
23:12at the right end
23:12this time
23:13and Stryak
23:15pushes it away
23:16not played since October
23:18Matt Stryak
23:19after heart surgery
23:20remarkable to come back
23:21in the same season
23:22and that's what he's capable of
23:27Aberdeen
23:28would love a second goal
23:37tension
23:39all around this old stadium
23:40Olazanya and Nisbet
23:43nice pass for Geiger
23:44looks up
23:45and Olazanya
23:48almost gets in the way there
23:50Toyosi Olazanya
23:52I think Elvis Bomono
23:54had his hand up
23:55that's who Geiger had spotted
23:56he was looking to step on
23:58and hit that
23:59Olazanya
24:00got the first touch
24:01and the chance is gone
24:08Job done for Aberdeen
24:10they move eight points clear
24:12of Kilmarnock
24:14who remain firmly
24:15in the playoff place
24:17and that might just be safety
24:19for the Dons
24:20Kilmarnock still
24:21with plenty to worry about
24:24I thought the players stood up
24:26when they had to defend
24:27they did
24:27when they had to defend
24:28set plays against
24:29a really tough side
24:31to play against
24:31against set plays
24:32and as I said
24:33that hasn't been said
24:34about an Aberdeen side
24:35for a long time
24:35hard to beat
24:36character
24:36hard to break down
24:38defence set plays
24:39and two clean sheets
24:40in a row
24:40so we have to take the positives
24:42can we be better
24:43can we be more creative
24:44can we be more composed
24:45of course we will be
24:46but the situation
24:47we find ourselves in
24:48we needed to stay up
24:50we needed to stay out
24:50of a playoff
24:51and we're making good strides
24:52towards that
24:53I think we're the better side
24:54but we can't keep one
24:56stuck in that record
24:56it's a difficult one
24:59to take right now
24:59it's difficult to have a go
25:00at them because
25:01I felt their application
25:02levels were brilliant
25:04I thought they played
25:05some great football
25:06with great chances
25:07we just didn't take them
25:08I think they hit the bar
25:09three times
25:10wasted a couple more
25:12and when you look back
25:14probably you think
25:15maybe we should have
25:17taken something from the game
25:18but if you make a mistake
25:20like that early in the game
25:20early in the match
25:22you're going to get punished
25:23for it
25:25Aberdeen win back to back
25:26league games
25:27for the first time
25:27since October
25:29you have to imagine
25:30now that that's them
25:31safe making
25:31yeah I think so
25:33I mean look for me
25:34the victory at home
25:35against Hibs
25:36just due to the fact
25:37they hadn't won
25:38in such a long time
25:40they were on such
25:40a poor run of form
25:42to win that one at home
25:44against Hibs
25:44even though obviously
25:46the points were still
25:46fairly tight
25:47I felt as if that was
25:48you know going to be
25:49enough for them
25:50but they've pretty much
25:51made sure of it there
25:52today with the victory
25:53against Kilmarnock
25:54yeah I thought
25:55so Kelly are not
25:56starting games well
25:56I mean I think that's
25:57playing for everyone to see
25:58just a minute in the clock
25:59when Aremu prodded
26:01this one home
26:02unlucky a wee bit
26:03with the deflection
26:03well it's just
26:04it's concentration
26:05you know and look
26:06this here we're highlighting
26:07you know the two midfielders
26:08get attracted to it
26:09then it's the three players
26:10that are getting attracted to it
26:11and constantly
26:12they're just opening up
26:13a little bit of space
26:14for the Aberdeen players
26:15in that moment
26:16you know
26:17this is concentration
26:18the first minute
26:19somebody has to be in front
26:21of Jack Mellon
26:21to begin with
26:22and you see the three
26:23midfielders getting attracted
26:24to Stuart Armstrong
26:25which then leaves
26:26the edge of the box
26:27free for Aremu
26:28and it's a little bit
26:29of bad luck
26:30in terms of
26:31it's not the best
26:32strike for Aremu
26:33it flicks off
26:34of Kamarnik player
26:35otherwise it's probably
26:36going straight
26:37at Max Stryak
26:40but again
26:41as you mentioned
26:42they are
26:42not a good start
26:43they're 1-0 down
26:44after a minute
26:44away from home
26:45third game in a row
26:46mountains decline
26:46and it just saps away
26:49at the belief
26:49and the confidence
26:50as much as performances
26:51have been pretty good
26:52you start to worry
26:53that well
26:54the points are not
26:55on the board
26:56and we're getting
26:56late in the day now
26:57and are they going to be able to
26:59it's harder than need to
27:00Neil spoke about it there
27:02in his post-match interview
27:04they've hit the bar
27:05three times
27:05they've had other
27:06good opportunities
27:07they were unlucky
27:09but as he said
27:10you can't keep playing
27:11that record
27:12no
27:12absolutely
27:13I mean
27:15I don't think
27:15you can
27:16you know
27:17underplay
27:18how much of a miss
27:21John Jones was
27:22because
27:22I think he was
27:23a fantastic player
27:24that got injured
27:26at a really
27:26crucial moment
27:28and as much as
27:29there's been a lot
27:30of good play
27:30obviously bringing
27:31Finlay Curtis in
27:32has been a good signing
27:35Kreschenko as well
27:36today I thought
27:36was looking dangerous
27:38but you need somebody
27:40as you just mentioned
27:40that's a difference maker
27:41somebody that's going to
27:42put that ball
27:42on the back of the net
27:43and Hugo is
27:44capable
27:45but it feels like
27:46there's a lot of weight
27:47on his shoulders
27:48and when you're
27:48constantly shooting
27:49yourself on the foot
27:50as we're talking about
27:51and working from
27:53a deficit
27:54giving away goals
27:55early on
27:56it's a very
27:57very difficult position
27:58to put yourself in
27:59and that away form
28:00is pretty much
28:01why they are
28:02where they are
28:03one away by no season
28:04there's no doubt about it
28:05I mean
28:05the away form
28:07and the fact that
28:08when that away form
28:09has not been
28:10particularly great
28:10it makes it all
28:11the more important
28:12that you start brightly
28:12and they've not
28:13so it's
28:14it's a huge four games
28:16that they've got left
28:17coming up
28:17and
28:18you know
28:19as much as
28:20there's positives
28:21to be taken
28:22from the game
28:22they have to make sure
28:24and you know
28:24we keep saying this
28:25and it'll ask me well here
28:26but they have to make sure
28:27that they don't
28:28gift goals
28:29to the opposition
28:30because they're all
28:30around general play
28:31if they're level
28:33it's going to give them
28:34the belief and confidence
28:35that they can potentially
28:35get wins
28:36OK
28:37well in the build up
28:38to the World Cup
28:39we want you to have
28:40your say on Scotland's
28:41most iconic goal
28:42we started with 16 goals
28:44for you to choose from
28:45we're into round 7
28:46and this week sees
28:47two St Mirren heroes
28:48go head to head
28:49for some reason
28:50my goal against Hong Kong
28:51was not up for consideration
28:57they've given it away
28:58there's McLean
29:00he's going to shoot
29:02he's not
29:02he's not
29:03he's not
29:03he's not
29:04he's not
29:04he's not
29:04he's not
29:04he's not
29:06he's not
29:07he's not
29:07he's not
29:07with practically the last
29:08kick of the ball
29:09to absolutely rubber stamp
29:12Scotland's place
29:13and the World Cup
29:17Robertson
29:18with the driving run
29:20gets it back
29:21it's John McKinn
29:23it's 1-1
29:25it's brilliant
29:26from McKinn
29:27his 11th goal
29:30for Scotland
29:33and it's
29:34back on
29:35level 10
29:39sorry John
29:40but Kenny wins that
29:41for me

29:54are on the website
29:56now
29:56the last three matches
29:57between St Mirren
29:58and Livingstone
29:59have ended in draws
29:59today
30:00both in the need to win
30:01in Paisley
30:05this could be the day
30:06Livingstone's fate
30:07is sealed
30:08however
30:09if they pick up a win
30:10they can keep their fate
30:11in their own hands
30:12as for St Mirren
30:13how can they respond
30:14to that complete capitulation
30:16and extra time
30:16of the Scottish Cup
30:17semi-final
30:19Craig McLeish
30:20has thrown emergency
30:20Loney Ross Sinclair
30:21straight into the starting 11
30:23Grant Tamasevich
30:24is named on the bench
30:25Liam Donnelly
30:26drops out on a thigh strain
30:27Richard King
30:27comes in
30:28Livingstone make two changes
30:30Christian Montano
30:31and Cammy Kerr
30:32named along the subs
30:33Brooklyn Cabongolo
30:34and Ryan McGowan
30:35come into the back
30:35McGowan wearing the armband
30:38St Mirren have lost
30:39just one of the last 16
30:40to Livingstone
30:45the ball towards
30:47the St Mirren box
30:47is knotted down
30:49and cleared away
30:52high into the sunshine
30:53here in Paisley
30:54as St Mirren
30:55look to break
30:55Declan John
30:56could be away
30:57Ryan McGowan's
30:58coming back with him
30:59John forced
31:00wide
31:00skips inside
31:01and out
31:02and it's into
31:03the side netting
31:04courtesy of a deflection
31:06of Ryan McGowan
31:08he would have been
31:09an unlikely goal scorer
31:10Declan John
31:12he was put away
31:13really well there
31:17and just took his time
31:18he was waiting for support
31:19which wasn't really coming
31:27Declan John
31:28to deliver
31:30crosses towards the back post
31:32headed away initially
31:34Ayunga takes it down
31:35oh and then whips
31:37a venomous shock
31:38towards goal
31:39and Jerome Priore
31:41able to parry that one away
31:45and that's a look alive there
31:47Ayunga looked like the chance
31:48was gone but
31:49he did well to
31:50create something
31:51from nothing
31:57Craig McLeish
31:58watching on
31:58he's impressed
31:59on his spell
32:00so far
32:02Alan Campbell
32:04lovely clip ball
32:05to Richard King
32:05at the back post
32:06Priore saves again
32:09once more
32:10coming to Livingston's rescue
32:14didn't look like
32:15there was anything on
32:16for Alan Campbell
32:16there
32:17just puts the ball
32:18into an area
32:19it was Richard King
32:20at the back post
32:22somehow denied
32:23by the flying arms
32:24of Priore
32:33John
32:33a bit more space
32:34to run
32:37looks for his options
32:38in the middle
32:39hangs it towards
32:40the back post
32:41there's the header
32:41again and Priore
32:42somehow stops it
32:45St Mirren
32:46trying to get it
32:46back in
32:47but Livingston
32:47could break
32:50it was Meekam
32:51and John
32:52with the header
32:52don't think
32:53Priore was even
32:54facing it
32:56well his side
32:57have played
32:57the better football
32:58in this first half
33:01O'Hara
33:02with the ball in
33:05not really
33:06dealt with
33:08flips with the shot
33:09it breaks
33:09for Declan
33:10John
33:11Priore again
33:13how are St Mirren
33:14not ahead
33:15well it's thanks
33:16to Jérôme Priore
33:17in the Livingston
33:18goal
33:19dealt with poorly
33:21Phillips shot
33:21comes to John
33:23and Priore saves
33:24with his legs
33:30Arfield
33:30with the lunging
33:31tackle
33:32it was a good one
33:32though
33:32and then McGowan
33:34is caught by
33:35Ayunga
33:35who's taking a
33:36sore on Livingston
33:37still going
33:37Arfield
33:38who's expecting
33:40Noobly to pick up
33:41and Alan Campbell
33:42is just going to
33:43knock this out
33:43Jonah Ayunga
33:44it's in real pain
33:47you don't like
33:48to see that
33:49at all
33:50as he put
33:51this challenge
33:52in Jonah Ayunga
33:53it's his right knee
33:54that has the problem
33:57and he will
33:57leave the field
33:58on a stretcher
34:00with his contract
34:01up in the summer
34:02that might be
34:02the last you see
34:03of Jonah Ayunga
34:04in black and white
34:05a sad ending
34:06to a good spell
34:08perhaps
34:09in Paisley
34:10as he's applauded
34:11off the park
34:17well closed down
34:19by Pittman
34:20only just on the
34:21pitch
34:21one of that
34:21trio of changes
34:23as Montano
34:24tries to release
34:25Smith
34:25who'll get to the ball
34:26first
34:26Robbie Muirhead
34:27up with him
34:27Gogic tracking back
34:29Muirhead
34:30plays it back to Smith
34:31the momentum
34:33killed a little
34:34but Muirhead
34:34has it now
34:36oh and the ball
34:37is in the back
34:37of the net
34:38and it's Alex Gogic
34:39who's put it there
34:41Livingston have
34:42the lead
34:45they catch
34:45St Mirrencold
34:49Alex Gogic
34:50with the own goal
34:53well it just looked
34:54like Gogic
34:54and Freckleton
34:55maybe miscommunicated
34:57there
34:58Smith pounced
34:59and he
35:00gets the ball
35:01back to Muirhead
35:02question of offside
35:04he tries the ball
35:05to the back post
35:05and then Gogic
35:08just a flex
35:09past his own keeper
35:12and there is
35:13the VAR check
35:14for offside
35:15the goal will stand
35:17Marvin Bartley's
35:18side have the lead
35:21that has happened
35:22actually quite a lot
35:23this season
35:24but they've rarely
35:25held on
35:26in fact it's August
35:27you have to go back
35:28to for that last win
35:31as they come forward
35:32again Montano
35:35away from Gogic
35:36slips it to Smith
35:36Scott Pittman
35:37makes the run
35:39Scott Pittman
35:40with the goal
35:42Livingston are
35:43two to the good
35:45and the long
35:47long run
35:47for a victory
35:48looks like it's
35:50coming to an end
35:50in Paisley
35:53that's twice now
35:56that they have
35:57stung their hosts
35:58on the break
36:0033
36:01league games
36:03and just one win
36:04before today
36:08a record breaking run
36:10and it might
36:12just might be over
36:17St Mirren
36:18searching for
36:19something late on
36:23Richardson
36:23picks up
36:25and drives
36:25into the area
36:26thinks about the shot
36:27plays it back
36:28to O'Hara
36:29he goes from
36:30distance
36:30and rattles
36:31across bar
36:33well it might have
36:34been no more
36:35than a consolation
36:35at this stage
36:37but it wouldn't
36:38have been a bad
36:38strike
36:42and there is
36:43the full time
36:44whistle
36:45will it be
36:46too little
36:47too late
36:47or will it be
36:49the start
36:50of the great
36:50escape for
36:51Livingston
36:51they finally
36:53finally
36:54have another win
36:55their first
36:56since the second
36:56weekend of the
36:57season
36:59such a long
37:00time coming
37:01it finishes
37:02in Paisley
37:03St Mirren
37:030
37:03Livingston
37:042
37:06it's a fantastic
37:07feeling at this
37:08moment in time
37:10the boys are
37:11absolutely delighted
37:12again a clean
37:12sheet as well
37:13I think it's only
37:13our third clean
37:14sheet of the
37:14season
37:15Drome in the
37:15first half
37:16was fantastic
37:17I have to give
37:18a shout out
37:19to Neil Hastings
37:19and Grant Murray
37:20as well
37:20because we saw
37:21what was going
37:22on at half
37:22time
37:23in the first
37:24half
37:24they had to
37:24articulate that
37:25to the players
37:25in the second
37:26half
37:26I think we
37:27took it up
37:27a notch
37:27in terms
37:28of us
37:28off the
37:28ball
37:29it's not
37:30just about
37:30me
37:31it's about
37:31the rest
37:32of the
37:32staff
37:32as well
37:33they've
37:33two shots
37:34on target
37:35two goals
37:36I know we've
37:36only had four
37:37on target
37:37but the
37:38goalkeeper's
37:38made a few
37:38saves
37:39still
37:40dominated
37:41large parts
37:41of the
37:41game
37:42it's a sore
37:43one
37:44and I know
37:44what people
37:44look at it
37:45and say about it
37:46but we've got
37:47a choice now
37:48we either stick
37:49together and we
37:49keep fighting
37:50or it goes
37:51the other way
37:52and I know
37:52the group
37:53in there
37:53they're hurting
37:53as well
37:54we absolutely
37:54will stick
37:55together
37:56I know
37:56the
37:56come on
37:57up result
37:57our situation
37:58is still
37:59kind of the
37:59same
38:00we've now
38:00lost a game
38:02we've got
38:02four to save
38:03our season
38:04the longest
38:05ever
38:06winless
38:06premiership
38:07run
38:07comes to
38:08an end
38:09as Livy
38:10finally get
38:10a massive
38:11three points
38:11we'll talk
38:12about them
38:12in a second
38:13since the
38:13better team
38:14first half
38:14had decent
38:15chances
38:16as Craig
38:16was mentioning
38:17there
38:17but prior
38:18in good
38:18form
38:18and
38:19poor
38:20finishing
38:20yeah
38:21I mean
38:21look
38:21it's
38:22it's
38:23a sore
38:25one for
38:25St Mirren
38:25because
38:26obviously
38:26I think
38:27there's
38:28clearly
38:28been some
38:29good
38:30performances
38:30individually
38:31and collectively
38:32but when you're
38:33not putting
38:34the ball
38:34on the back
38:34of the net
38:35it feels
38:36like you're
38:36always running
38:37the risk
38:37of potentially
38:38getting hit
38:38with a sucker
38:39punch
38:39and Livingston
38:41were
38:41without being
38:43overly
38:43creative
38:44they still
38:44felt like
38:45they were
38:45dangerous
38:46and capable
38:48and
38:48you know
38:49when you have
38:50opportunities
38:51and you don't
38:51convert it
38:53you're always
38:54going to be
38:54putting your
38:55team defensively
38:56under a little
38:56bit of pressure
38:57and when you
38:58look at the
38:58goals that
38:59Livingston
39:00score
39:00you can see
39:02that the
39:03goals that
39:04St Mirren
39:05concede
39:06they're a little
39:07bit exposed
39:07at the back
39:08they're caught
39:09with quick
39:11breakaways
39:11and it's
39:13something that
39:14I'm sure
39:14Craig McLeish
39:15is going to
39:15have to look at
39:16because that
39:17would have been
39:17a game when
39:18you're looking
39:18at the
39:18split here
39:19at home
39:20against the
39:20bottom
39:20team
39:21who
39:21are almost
39:22relegated
39:23already
39:23that would
39:24have been
39:24one that
39:25they'd have
39:25been earmarking
39:26as potentially
39:26getting three
39:27points and
39:28helping their
39:28cause to make
39:29sure they don't
39:29go into those
39:30playoffs
39:30let's look at
39:31the Livvy
39:31first goal
39:32it was a
39:32counter attack
39:33ended badly
39:33for Gogic
39:35but St Mirren
39:35pressing forward
39:36trying to get
39:36the goal
39:37trying to win
39:37the game
39:37and just get
39:38caught
39:38well this is
39:38what I'm
39:38talking about
39:39in terms of
39:39just being a
39:40little bit
39:40exposed here
39:41you know
39:41there's the
39:42two defenders
39:44Freckleton
39:45and Gogic
39:47I just feel
39:48like they
39:48don't defend
39:49the situation
39:49particularly well
39:50in the end
39:50you know
39:51they've got
39:51plenty of
39:51willing runners
39:52to get back
39:52and you notice
39:53there's plenty
39:54of bodies in the
39:54box in the end
39:55but I think
39:56this is avoidable
39:57a little bit
39:58exposed to begin
39:59with but then
39:59avoidable
40:00here for me
40:01Freckleton's got to
40:01hold his position
40:02Devaney's got back in
40:03he doesn't need to
40:05get attracted to the
40:05ball
40:06because he does
40:07go
40:08Gogic naturally
40:08narrows off a
40:09little bit
40:10and then
40:11Freckleton's
40:11desperately trying to
40:12get across the
40:13block
40:13if he holds
40:14his position
40:15then I think
40:15everybody's a little
40:16bit more comfortable
40:17Gogic is closer to
40:18the ball
40:18where Muirhead
40:19eventually gets it
40:21he's in
40:21you know
40:22control in the
40:22middle of the
40:23goals
40:23and it becomes
40:24a little bit
40:25sort of hear him
40:26scare him in the
40:26end
40:27and obviously
40:27ends up in the
40:28back of the net
40:28whereas if they
40:29just held
40:30positions
40:30I don't think
40:31it would have
40:31been as nervous
40:32as that
40:32cool
40:33Scott Pittman
40:34he made sure
40:34of it
40:3581 minutes
40:35he's very good
40:36at this kind of
40:37timing of run
40:38into the box
40:39we've seen him
40:39do it on a
40:39number of
40:40occasions
40:40yeah
40:41again obviously
40:42St Mirren
40:43at this point
40:44are trying to
40:44press
40:44but you can
40:45see those
40:46gaps in the
40:46back line
40:47and you know
40:48credit to
40:48Livingston
40:49because they
40:49exposed him
40:50really well
40:51lovely little
40:52nutmeg pass
40:53from Smith
40:54into the
40:55path
40:55but here's
40:56Pittman
40:56you can see
40:57him in his
40:57own half
40:57here
40:58making that
40:58driving run
40:59he just
40:59runs off
41:00the shoulder
41:00of Mark
41:01O'Hara
41:01and he's
41:02that split
41:02second
41:03too late
41:04when he
41:04realises
41:04that he's
41:05in real
41:05trouble
41:06this is a
41:06lovely little
41:07pass through
41:07the legs
41:08and Pittman
41:09from that
41:10distance
41:10first time
41:11he's never
41:11going to
41:12make a
41:12mistake
41:129 points
41:13behind
41:13Kelly
41:144 games
41:14to go
41:15you know
41:15I'm going
41:15to ask
41:15you
41:16no
41:19come on
41:20where's your
41:20romance
41:20where's the
41:21positivity
41:21it's just
41:22being realistic
41:23no
41:24no
41:24imagine the
41:26lift this
41:26might give
41:27him
41:27this is
41:28their first
41:29away win
41:29of the
41:30campaign
41:30their second
41:31in the
41:32season
41:32their first
41:33in 31
41:33games
41:34so pessimistic
41:36Michael
41:36ok let's
41:37have a wee
41:38look at the
41:38table
41:39just the
41:40three games
41:40today
41:41Celtics win
41:42has them
41:42joint top
41:43with Rangers
41:43and Hearts
41:44playing tomorrow
41:45Aberdeen up to
41:4636 points
41:47Mervyn in
41:4810th on
41:4830 with
41:49Comaric 2
41:49behind on
41:5028 points
41:51let me close
41:52the gap
41:52but remain
41:53bottom
41:53on 19
41:54coming up
41:56Serie A
41:58Torino
41:59against
41:59Inter Milan
42:00on Sunday
42:004.50
42:01Alipa
42:02Premiership
42:02highlights
42:03with Jonathan
42:03massive games
42:04tomorrow
42:04Queen's Park
42:05against Hearts
42:06in the
42:06Scottish Youth
42:06Cup final
42:07we've got that
42:07live on
42:08Tuesday
42:087.15
42:09and
42:10Raythro
42:10against Ross
42:11County
42:11is next
42:12Friday's
42:12offering in
42:12the
42:13Championship
42:13three big
42:14games tomorrow
42:15Mikey
42:15not a lot
42:16of time
42:16left
42:16we'll rattle
42:17through them
42:17Dundee
42:18Derby
42:18at
42:19Tanadise
42:19who are you
42:20fancying
42:21tough one
42:22I think
42:22Dungeon United
42:23feels like
42:24they're getting
42:24a little bit
42:24of form going
42:25I would
42:26perhaps edge
42:26them slightly
42:27just with it
42:27being at
42:28Tanadise
42:29Rangers
42:30against
42:31Motherwell
42:31Rangers
42:32home form
42:32has been
42:32excellent
42:33Motherwell
42:34maybe just
42:34drifted a wee
42:35bit in this
42:35last month
42:36they have
42:36but that
42:36performance
42:37they put in
42:37at Tynecastle
42:38just for
42:39the cup
42:40games there
42:41was very good
42:41if they're able
42:42to replicate
42:42that they stand
42:43a chance
42:43but yeah
42:44I think
42:45Rangers are
42:45probably the
42:45favourites
42:46OK
42:46and it's
42:47the Michael
42:47Stuart
42:47Derby
42:48Hibs
42:48against
42:48Hearts
42:49this is a
42:49tough one
42:50for Hearts
42:50because if
42:51you're
42:51Hibs
42:51you don't
42:52want to be
42:52losing this
42:53game
42:53you don't
42:57it's so
42:58close to
42:58call
42:59you know
42:59Hibs are
42:59a good
42:59side
43:00been slightly
43:01off it
43:01but what a
43:03game for them
43:03to potentially
43:03put a real
43:04spanner in the
43:04works
43:05whereas for
43:05Hearts
43:05everything is
43:06on the
43:06line here
43:07it is on
43:08the line
43:08have you
43:08got a
43:08prediction
43:09for me
43:09if Hearts
43:11have got
43:11enough of
43:11their players
43:12back fit
43:12I think
43:12they might
43:13edge it
43:14but if
43:15they get
43:15a strong
43:15team out
43:16there
43:16I think
43:16they might
43:16be able
43:17to edge
43:17this one
43:17at Easter
43:18Road
43:18because it
43:19is monumental
43:20it's huge
43:21OK
43:21that is it
43:22for tonight
43:23thanks to
43:23Michael
43:23for joining
43:26cheers
