00:00:00I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
00:00:30Good evening. Let's start with a quick question.
00:00:43James McFadden and I played against each other on this day in 2008,
00:00:47but for what teams? Do you remember the score?
00:00:50Aye. Do you want me to tell you?
00:00:52Aye, go for it.
00:00:52One each, no?
00:00:53One each. I think it might be.
00:00:54We normally try and give the show a big build-up,
00:00:56but I can honestly not remember a week with so many quality goals.
00:01:01Now, we start at Ibrox, where Stephen Smith was in temporary charge.
00:01:04It's been a turbulent 13 days for Rangers,
00:01:06with visitors Dundee United looking to take full advantage this afternoon.
00:01:13The only thing shining brightly at Ibrox this season
00:01:16has been the spotlight that's continually fixed on this place.
00:01:19Another manager gone.
00:01:21Russell Martin's sacking leaves the club
00:01:23looking for their eighth full-time boss in a decade.
00:01:26Stephen Smith, an interim charge.
00:01:28McComa, Asghar and Atman come in to the side
00:01:30from Martin's final chapter of his short story a fortnight ago.
00:01:34Out go Jiga, Moor and Barron.
00:01:37Three changes for United as well.
00:01:39Eskisson, Sybil and Fata come in
00:01:41for Yovu, Kamara and Moeller who drop to the bench.
00:01:45United haven't won here since 2014
00:01:47and not in the league since 2011.
00:01:52Stephen Smith looking for an immediate impact.
00:01:55Who knows how many games he'll be in charge of,
00:01:59but he's in charge of this one.
00:02:02Rangers have started brightly enough in the match,
00:02:05but this is Vichko's Chevy for the visitors,
00:02:08who, like Rangers, have only won two of the last ten.
00:02:11And here is Dolceic,
00:02:13one of their stars of the campaign,
00:02:15up to press, but he's wide.
00:02:17He's won a corner.
00:02:20Let's see if he's got a case.
00:02:23Dolce might well have taken a neck off Suter, that.
00:02:26Moobie will be disappointed he's not got out on target,
00:02:29his manager is.
00:02:30There's Telu Asgard.
00:02:38And that's taken a deflection,
00:02:40so Kucherenko's relieved to see it go that side of the post.
00:02:46As he's giving that one up.
00:02:47And there's a lovely touch,
00:02:53like Isama.
00:02:55Asgard.
00:02:57Brilliant play from Telu Asgard,
00:03:00and that is wonderful!
00:03:01Wonderful!
00:03:06And it might be the goal that kickstarts Rangers season as well.
00:03:11A first for the club for the Norway International.
00:03:13And it comes in some style.
00:03:19Away from Esselinck and from Stevenson and Rangers in front.
00:03:27In spectacular fashion.
00:03:33Now, a nod of approval from the interim boss.
00:03:37Perhaps the pressure being lifted on the board slightly.
00:03:43That's a poor one from Dolceic,
00:03:46who's not bothered to try and redeem himself.
00:03:50And it's Asgard.
00:03:50Kucherenko, though, keeps him out.
00:03:54Gisama.
00:03:58Blocked there by Lucas Stevenson.
00:04:01An appeal for a handball.
00:04:11Tavernier.
00:04:11Wasn't the worst delivery.
00:04:15It might still drop for Gisama.
00:04:19Stevenson got on his road.
00:04:21It has been so much better from Rangers in this first half
00:04:25than anything we've seen from them this season in the league.
00:04:29Still looking for their first win here
00:04:30in the Premiership since they beat United late in last season.
00:04:34Kusama.
00:04:36Kusama.
00:04:37Kusama.
00:04:42Miofsky wasn't on the same page initially.
00:04:47Asgard.
00:04:48Deflected!
00:04:49And over from the keeper.
00:04:50The only deflection didn't exactly help Kucherenko there,
00:04:58but he dealt with it well.
00:05:04Suter with a header for my United defender.
00:05:07It is Ant-Man.
00:05:08Kucherenko blocks again.
00:05:11Rangers keep the pressure up.
00:05:13It's been night and day.
00:05:14And Ant-Man's lost it.
00:05:26And Sapsford.
00:05:28For Chevy.
00:05:29And he scuffs it.
00:05:30Well, they were second best in the first half of United,
00:05:36but just the one goal down
00:05:38shall give Jim Goodwin encouragement.
00:05:41This isn't done yet.
00:05:45That's a lovely ball through to Sapsford.
00:05:47The Rangers' defence stopped.
00:05:49Across it comes.
00:05:51Breaks to Trapanovsky.
00:05:54Oh, he scored!
00:05:55It's 1-1!
00:05:58He's just on!
00:06:01Off the bench!
00:06:03And with a first goal of the season,
00:06:04Christian Trapanovsky squares the game at Ibrox.
00:06:11Well, the yellow's out.
00:06:13Trapanovsky at the top off in celebration.
00:06:18Well, it's a lovely death ball over the top of the Rangers' defence
00:06:22that didn't react.
00:06:25Sapsford pulled it across.
00:06:27Trapanovsky's got loads still to do here.
00:06:28It's literally been on for seconds.
00:06:32When he dispatched this into the bottom left,
00:06:35Butlin got a touch.
00:06:38But Rangers' defensive frailties coming back to haunt them here.
00:06:41And Sibold.
00:06:53Well, he's managed to get it through to Sapsford!
00:06:56Put the note quickly.
00:07:00Sibold.
00:07:01Oh, brilliant goal!
00:07:02Top drawer from Craig Sibold!
00:07:15Well, strikes don't come much better than this one.
00:07:18Ranger surviving the initial chance for Sapsford.
00:07:20Moller chested it down, and Sibold scratches that superbly.
00:07:31He doesn't score too many, but my goodness, he's turned this game on its head.
00:07:36With one swipe of the left boot, Jim Goodwin's men lead.
00:07:42Rangers' trail.
00:07:43Baren, looking for Moore.
00:07:53He's on to it.
00:07:55There's Tavernier!
00:07:562-2!
00:08:03Rangers back on terms in a topsy-turvy encounter here.
00:08:06And once again, it's their captain who rescues them.
00:08:14Heartbreak for United.
00:08:15They were looking to win here for the first time in the league in over 14 years.
00:08:20But James Tavernier's goal might actually...
00:08:24I mean, Rangers are throwing the kitchen sink at a winner here.
00:08:29Good play by Moore.
00:08:32Tavernier finishes.
00:08:32Tavernier finishes.
00:08:36This is the Rangers' eighth game of the season.
00:08:43They've only won one of them so far, and that's a gift from Meg Homa.
00:08:46Here's Trappanovski!
00:08:51Oh, Meg Homa's old butthman won after that.
00:08:55That would have been the winner.
00:09:01Moller.
00:09:03A really good second-half performance by United.
00:09:06They've turned the tide.
00:09:09Looked like they were set for three points.
00:09:14Trappanovski.
00:09:16Kamara wanted it.
00:09:18Might still break to him, and it's high and wide.
00:09:23Rangers were in total control at halftime.
00:09:28Dominant first-half performance, but once again, they have to settle for a point.
00:09:32They've drawn six of their eight games in the Premiership.
00:09:35This is another.
00:09:37They led through Asgard, pegged back by United, who led themselves through Trappanovski and Sibold.
00:09:44Tavernier saves a point, but it's still not enough for Rangers.
00:09:49People will ask me, did I enjoy today?
00:09:54I won't, because I know what the expectations are every time you play here.
00:09:58It's to win the game, and that was the message to the players.
00:10:01I'm just disappointed we didn't do that today.
00:10:03I felt we were on a little bit of a hiding to nothing today, because of the change of manager.
00:10:07I knew the atmosphere within the stadium was going to be a hell of a lot better today than what it had been previously.
00:10:13So that was bound to give the Rangers players a lift.
00:10:15I thought Rangers were excellent in the first 45 minutes, for as bad as we were.
00:10:18But the second half, I thought their performance definitely deserved at least a point.
00:10:24But to get to them late stages of the game, leading 2-1 with only 5-10 minutes to go, and not to hang on, that is extremely disappointing.
00:10:32I think a lot of the players, if you ask them, the reason they come to the club is because of the expectation and the chances to go and win.
00:10:39And when you don't win, you need to take it.
00:10:40You need to take responsibility, and I'll do that today.
00:10:42I'll do that.
00:10:42I've got enough experience of being here, and when you need to take that on your shoulders, and I can take it.
00:10:48There's a big game coming up on Thursday.
00:10:51Will you take the team?
00:10:52Is there a dispensation that you need to carry on in Europe?
00:10:55Listen, I've been taking it day by day, and my full focus was on Dundee United.
00:10:59If I have conversations later on tonight that give me more clarity, then I'll understand it.
00:11:03But I'm preparing for training tomorrow.
00:11:06Rangers drop points at Ibricks yet again, James.
00:11:09It didn't look likely at halftime at all, really.
00:11:12But in the second half, Rangers have shown just exactly why they've only won that one league game this season.
00:11:16Yeah, I mean, it was a really good first-half performance, I have to say.
00:11:19Loads of energy, you know, the intent to go forward and really caused Dundee United problems.
00:11:23And it looked like, you know, Stevie Smith had done a really good job to get his message across and free up the players, if you like.
00:11:30So it was a good reaction, first half, without a doubt.
00:11:33The second half, it was the same old Rangers in the end, where they were pretty open, pretty vulnerable at the back,
00:11:39conceding another two goals at home.
00:11:41And just, you know, those frailties are still there.
00:11:44It's going to take time for that to change.
00:11:46So, you know, the sooner they get a manager in place to fix that, then the better for Rangers.
00:11:51We'll talk about how good United we are in the second half shortly, but let's look at Rangers' first-half performance.
00:11:57And as you said, it was excellent.
00:11:58They looked as though the shackles were off.
00:12:00They played with a freedom.
00:12:00Yeah, they did, in a real intent to go forward.
00:12:03You know, I think that, you know, none more so than Taylor Asgard and his performance levels.
00:12:07I think that when he's played Asgard, you can see that he's technically a very good footballer.
00:12:13You know, he's comfortable on the ball and he is, you know, he's got quick feet.
00:12:17But too often this season, it's been negative from him when he gets the ball, maybe safe, playing it sideways, backwards.
00:12:24But today, from the start, he's intent to go forward.
00:12:27I mean, this goal is absolutely incredible.
00:12:29The feet that he shows, but it's the straightaway the intent to drive forward and commit.
00:12:33I think that that's what's been missing from Rangers, that energy to go forward.
00:12:37Joe Rossdale is another one that came in, driving forward.
00:12:40I think if that was a couple of weeks ago, that would have been a sideways pass and with no real tempo on it.
00:12:45But it's a drive forward, it's committing players, it's getting that space and creating space for your teammates.
00:12:50And Asgard, again, popping up with the shot.
00:12:52But I just, you know, from the start, in this first-half performance, you could see the real intent to go and attack.
00:13:00Of course, they wanted to dominate the game and have the ball.
00:13:02What was different to, like, a Russell Martin performance then?
00:13:06Were they getting forward more quickly without the extra passes?
00:13:09Well, there was an intent to go forward.
00:13:11It wasn't that they had to be set in position.
00:13:13You see the one there with Othwell winning the ball and driving forward.
00:13:16I think that previously that would have been take a touch and play it off.
00:13:20You know, wide to get control and then set and play around to make sure you get that opening.
00:13:24Whereas today it was a real intent to go and take the ball, eliminate the man with your first touch.
00:13:29Or if you're beyond that line of the midfield, to go and drive forward.
00:13:33Go and make something happen.
00:13:34Go and commit.
00:13:35You know, Asgard's goal is a real top drawer.
00:13:38And showing exactly why, you know, it did come.
00:13:41I know that there's been, you know, a lot of talk about the recruitment and players coming for, you know, the Championship in England.
00:13:46But showing why there was a bit of excitement when he signed.
00:13:49And, you know, Rangers fans will be hoping that there's more of that to come from.
00:13:52I'm scared you think that there's some better goals to come than that one tonight already.
00:13:55Not many people will have seen United coming back into the game in the second half.
00:13:59But you have to give Jim Goodwin credit.
00:14:01They really did go for it in the second half and thoroughly deserved to take the 2-1 lead.
00:14:05Yeah, they did.
00:14:06And I think that, you know, it just shows you where Dundee United are under Jim Goodwin in particular.
00:14:11Because they came out the second half.
00:14:14And look, this is what I'm speaking about.
00:14:15It's really positive from Dundee United to go and get the ball in behind and try and create an opening.
00:14:19But again, defensively for Rangers, Magoma for me, body position is wrong.
00:14:24He allows Sapsford inside them.
00:14:26And then when Sapsford gets to the byline, I mean, the disconnect in between the defenders, it's too easy for Dundee United.
00:14:34And I'm pretty sure that if from that position you were to say the ball was going to be passed to the opposite wide man outside the box,
00:14:39you'd be happy enough with that.
00:14:41But credit Trappanovski comes in onto that right foot.
00:14:44It's just the recovery.
00:14:45I think you can see it here.
00:14:46You know, Rothwell's jogging back into position.
00:14:48NASCAR's jogging back into position and not really sensing the danger.
00:14:52So for all the praise you're getting for driving forward, it's still the same old frailties of getting back.
00:14:57And, you know, these are, this goal was absolutely magnificent from Craig Sibold.
00:15:01The pass for me, excellent.
00:15:03Sapsford goes through.
00:15:04He's, you know, expecting to score.
00:15:06I like that big chest there.
00:15:07The chest from Muller's excellent.
00:15:09The finish, I mean, his pass was really good before it.
00:15:13And that's his job, to get the ball and play on his striker.
00:15:16But when you see it from this angle.
00:15:17It's incredible.
00:15:18As I say, perfect way to pass.
00:15:20The kind of disarray at the backline for Rangers has been exploited.
00:15:23Lovely little chest down.
00:15:25A couple of touches out his feet.
00:15:26Butland, absolutely no chance.
00:15:29And the theme of the day is definitely outrageous goals.
00:15:31Oh, it is.
00:15:32It's your kind of dream come true today.
00:15:34It looks likely that Kevin Muscat will be named the new Rangers manager.
00:15:38When it happens, we don't know.
00:15:39What have you made of the process?
00:15:40And the fact that there's a chance if he does arrive, he won't be arriving for five weeks.
00:15:45When it looks like Rangers really could be doing some leadership in there right now.
00:15:49Yeah.
00:15:49I mean, I know there's been a bit of criticism with the process.
00:15:52But Stephen Gerrard was obviously identified as the main target.
00:15:56And those talks happen face to face, which absolutely have to happen.
00:15:59And for whatever reason, we don't know.
00:16:01Will we ever know why he decided that this wasn't the right time for him?
00:16:05Danny Roll, in the meantime, has ruled himself out.
00:16:08Is that because he felt that he wasn't getting a job and trying to save face a little bit?
00:16:12Kevin Muscat, one for me, is he's obviously been identified as a manager.
00:16:17And if you have to wait for him, then as long as he's the right man for the job, it shouldn't really matter.
00:16:21I think what it says about the character of Kevin Muscat is that he wants to finish the job that he has in hand.
00:16:27And shown that he's committed to the project that he's involved in at the minute.
00:16:31So if it is Kevin Muscat and they have to wait, as long as he comes in and wins games and gets Rangers to where the fans want him to be, then...
00:16:38Well, I mean, it's rumoured that our wee pal Neil McCann might be going in to take the Chargers things until Muscat arrives.
00:16:44But we can't be clear on that because he won't answer his phone, which is very rude, Neil, not to return calls or messages.
00:16:48But I think the problem for Andy going in there is the fact that teams don't fear going to Ivericks right now.
00:16:55And this set of players who are clearly underperforming are going to be the set of players that the new manager has to work with until such times, until January, really.
00:17:02Yeah, but we've highlighted some positives from today in the first half performance.
00:17:07The energy and the willingness to go and attack.
00:17:09Scored a wonderful goal and there were some decent performances in that first half.
00:17:12But then you also see, you know, the other side of it, the defensive side, how open they are.
00:17:17Maybe that, you know, urgency to get back in or, you know, a different manager coming in will have his ideas on how to play.
00:17:23I think there are good players to work with.
00:17:26Maybe they just need, you know, a good bit of guidance.
00:17:29So it's a tough job given where Rangers are in the league and the results, particularly at home, which have been far from good enough.
00:17:36Then it is a big job, but I think there is enough to work with there to get them certainly doing much better than what they're doing at the minute.
00:17:42OK, let's move on to Easter Road as Hibbs look to get their season going against Levy.
00:17:49Hibbs have had the break to stew on their late Derby heartbreak.
00:17:52They're winless in the league since the opening day and here at Easter Road all season.
00:17:56But for all Livingston's strengths, this feels like an opportunity for them to address their form.
00:18:01Thibaut Cleegi scored in the League Cup win over Livingston and Hibbs' record signing starts for just the second time in the Premiership.
00:18:07Cadden and McGrath are the other changes from Tynecastle.
00:18:11Livingston have quite a few on the treatment table and changed to a back three.
00:18:15Blaney and Bukila replace Tate and Smith who misses out altogether.
00:18:24Hibernian.
00:18:26Five draws and a defeat in their last six in the league.
00:18:29Very much in need of a victory.
00:18:34Livingston too with just a one-league triumph so far in this campaign.
00:18:40And they're playing themselves into it.
00:18:41Baller here as Blaney sclaps it into touch.
00:18:44Barlaser into Cleegi.
00:18:50Oh, that's a brilliant turn.
00:18:52Still going Thibaut Cleegi.
00:18:56Brilliant goal.
00:18:58And Thibaut Cleegi's first strike at Easter Roads.
00:19:02And his first in the Premiership is a belter.
00:19:05Skill, strength, speed and utter conviction in the finish.
00:19:14No chance really for Priyart.
00:19:17And Hibbs are up and running early doors.
00:19:19Well, Livingston hit with an early sucker punch.
00:19:29Can they find a response here?
00:19:31Finlayson.
00:19:32Sosoho.
00:19:33Well, he had plenty of space there, the Livy midfielder.
00:19:38But, crucially, can't find a target.
00:19:43So much room.
00:19:44Cleegi's made the run here.
00:19:53And Silla's header only as far as Bowie.
00:19:58That has to go down as a good chance for Kieran Bowie.
00:20:01He saw international action with Scotland during the break.
00:20:05And he goes close to a second for Hibbs.
00:20:11Livingston undone at the back once more.
00:20:14Well, Hibbs will feel they had much the better of the opening periods.
00:20:21But just the one goal to show for it.
00:20:23As Josh Mulligan does what Josh Mulligan does.
00:20:27And that's carry the ball forwards.
00:20:30And he gets the return here.
00:20:34McGrath on the chest.
00:20:37And he tests Priyart.
00:20:38Who was alert.
00:20:39Such a technically gifted footballer, Jamie McGrath just watches this all the way.
00:20:48And he's unlucky.
00:20:49The left boot of Nicky Cadden to deliver.
00:20:56In-swinger.
00:20:58Glanced away by Livingston.
00:21:00Not the best touch they are.
00:21:05But Mulligan recovers.
00:21:07And it's Priyart called into action once more.
00:21:11As Hibbs keep asking the question.
00:21:14How they would love a second.
00:21:21David Martindale.
00:21:24Puzzled.
00:21:25At his team's performance so far.
00:21:28And Cleegie goes down.
00:21:30Penalty given.
00:21:31Montaño.
00:21:34Montaño.
00:21:35Only on at the break.
00:21:37Already in the book.
00:21:39And guilty.
00:21:40Of gifting Hibbs a penalty.
00:21:42It's a blatant shirt pull.
00:21:44From the defender.
00:21:46And it gives Jamie McGrath the opportunity.
00:21:49And he rarely misses penalties.
00:21:54McGrath.
00:21:57Such coolness.
00:21:59From the Irishman.
00:22:01And now everyone at Easter Road.
00:22:03Breathing a little easier.
00:22:06As Hibbs.
00:22:08Build a two goal lead.
00:22:10They've threatened pretty much since the opener.
00:22:12To add to their tally.
00:22:13And they've finally done it.
00:22:20Cadden.
00:22:22Hangley up.
00:22:23Stevie May to the rescue.
00:22:25For Livingston.
00:22:27It's one way traffic at the moment.
00:22:30At Easter Road.
00:22:31And it comes in again.
00:22:34And Hanley's up again.
00:22:36And Priort didn't have to do much.
00:22:38To gather that one.
00:22:41Scotland defender.
00:22:42Close to making it 3-0.
00:22:43Well, can Livingston.
00:22:44Well, can Livingston just get the one goal that might set hairs running at Easter Road.
00:22:59But need to be better than that.
00:23:01Barlaser gets himself out of trouble.
00:23:03And Stevie May hits the deck.
00:23:06And Ryan Lee, the referee, gives the visitors a free kick.
00:23:12Forever battling Stevie May.
00:23:17Forever battling Stevie May.
00:23:19Caught by Mulligan.
00:23:20Robbie Muirhead fancies a goal.
00:23:24Oh, and why not?
00:23:27Really caught that one.
00:23:28Salinger was equal to it, though.
00:23:33Oh, and why not?
00:23:34Oh, and why not?
00:23:34Oh, and why not?
00:23:35Oh, and why not?
00:23:35Oh, and why not?
00:23:36Barlaser, he's in so much space as he sprays the pass out to this near side.
00:23:45And it's Chaiwa.
00:23:53Away by Silla, only as far as Mulligan.
00:23:57Ohora now to Chris Cadden, who drops the shoulder.
00:24:02Dinks the cross in.
00:24:03Hoylet's up, and Hoylet makes it 3.
00:24:06And Hibs are on their way to a first home win of the season, and a first in the league
00:24:15overall since the opening day.
00:24:18Junior Hoylet the substitute, with a clever header into the far corner, and Livingston left
00:24:25looking at each other once more.
00:24:283-0, they trail, Hibs in total control.
00:24:36Hibs in total control.

00:25:27all doing the damage
00:25:29against a rather ragged Livingston
00:25:31full time, hips four, Livingston
00:25:33nil
00:25:34I think everything
00:25:37I asked for before the game
00:25:39certainly seen
00:25:40clearly the big thing was always going to be the reaction
00:25:43to losing our first game of the season
00:25:45how can we then bounce back, I think we've done that
00:25:47in the perfect way, four goals, clean sheet
00:25:49could have been more
00:25:50so all in all the biggest thing I asked for was intensity
00:25:53and I think I got that right from the start
00:25:54subs came on as well, a good time, made us better
00:25:57as well, which is what the challenge is
00:25:58as a sub can you come on and make the team
00:26:01better at the time, so it's
00:26:02a really good day's work
00:26:04I don't think Hibs were fantastic
00:26:07today, I think they were ok
00:26:08good players, I think they have
00:26:11got good players within that, starting a living
00:26:13or the match day squad
00:26:15but I felt we gave them two goals
00:26:17we gifted them two goals, we did
00:26:18there's no denying it, the first two goals
00:26:21we gifted them, and if you're doing that
00:26:23take anyone away from home, I think you're
00:26:25going to be in trouble, so I don't know
00:26:26maybe the change of shape had an impact on that
00:26:29I don't think it was that, but
00:26:30I'll need to go back and kind of
00:26:32try and take the emotion out of the game
00:26:34because there's a huge disappointment
00:26:36and frustration on the performance
00:26:39with the players and myself
00:26:40Hibs coast to victory
00:26:43in a very, very impressive performance
00:26:46at Easter Road
00:26:46James, that's more like it
00:26:47from Hibs, isn't it?
00:26:48It's been a bit of a slow
00:26:49start to the season from them
00:26:51but that will please David Grape
00:26:52Yeah, it will do
00:26:53I'm not sure they gifted
00:26:54the first two goals
00:26:55to be honest
00:26:56The first one's quality
00:26:57a real bit of quality
00:26:58potentially look at the penalty
00:27:00but no, it is
00:27:01I think that Hibs found a rhythm
00:27:03and they've got a strong squad
00:27:05we were just speaking there
00:27:06about the players that were left out
00:27:08players that are on the bench
00:27:09they've got a strong squad
00:27:10and that competition
00:27:11can only be a good thing
00:27:13so no, it was a good performance
00:27:15David Grape speaking there
00:27:16saying he was pleased
00:27:17with every aspect of the game
00:27:18and quite rightly so
00:27:19a 4-0 win at home
00:27:20against the Livingston side
00:27:21that they're a tough team
00:27:23to play against
00:27:23there is no doubt
00:27:24But are they?
00:27:25Yes they are
00:27:26They're not proving that
00:27:26this season
00:27:26They're not winning games
00:27:28I get that
00:27:29but their teams aren't
00:27:31putting them away
00:27:32the way Hibs did today
00:27:33they're a tough opposition
00:27:34and they are showing
00:27:35that they are going to be
00:27:36tough to play against
00:27:37but today for Hibs
00:27:38they get into their rhythm
00:27:39they scored some good goals
00:27:41obviously, you know
00:27:42keep a clean sheet as well
00:27:43so no, I think Livingston
00:27:44have proved to be
00:27:45tough opposition
00:27:46without really
00:27:47getting the results
00:27:48that probably they feel
00:27:49they should get
00:27:50or they deserve
00:27:50but they are still
00:27:51a tough team to play against
00:27:52Right, that's up for debate
00:27:53Hibs
00:27:54I mean, they've drawn
00:27:55too many games this season
00:27:56so let's take a look
00:27:58at today's performance
00:27:59where they were
00:27:59more ruthless
00:28:00Yeah, I mean, as I say
00:28:02this first goal for me
00:28:02is real quality
00:28:03I understand the frustration
00:28:04for David Martindale
00:28:06where he wants his players
00:28:07to be tighter
00:28:08but Cleetje's first touch
00:28:10is absolutely magnificent
00:28:11It is, isn't it?
00:28:12You know, and he goes
00:28:13towards the ball
00:28:14which sucks in
00:28:15Danny Wilson
00:28:15makes him feel
00:28:16like he can get it
00:28:17Silly up there
00:28:18beside him as well
00:28:19but then he starts
00:28:20to back off as it comes
00:28:21he's got so much
00:28:22awareness of where he is
00:28:23the first touch
00:28:24is outstanding
00:28:25when he gets into
00:28:26that position
00:28:27and then he just fires it
00:28:28into the roof of the net
00:28:30and goalkeepers
00:28:30get absolutely no chance
00:28:31and, you know, they did
00:28:33I think that these
00:28:35are probably disappointing
00:28:36ones for David Martindale
00:28:37you know, Chris Cardin does really well
00:28:39down the outside
00:28:40and if you're asking
00:28:41are you going to go and compete
00:28:43for Heather in the box
00:28:44against Junior Hoylet
00:28:44do you fancy winning it?
00:28:45Then of course
00:28:46but I think you have to credit
00:28:47the cross, the leap
00:28:49and the finish
00:28:50from Hoylet
00:28:50and really just
00:28:52Hibbs playing
00:28:53with that freedom
00:28:54again, Cardin
00:28:55set himself down
00:28:56that right hand side
00:28:57nice bit of composure
00:28:58to find Hoylet
00:28:59and it's a really good finish
00:29:00again
00:29:00to round off
00:29:01a magnificent performance
00:29:02Do you expect them to kick on
00:29:04now?
00:29:04Much like last season
00:29:05slow start
00:29:06and then
00:29:07they started to just
00:29:08kick up
00:29:09win after win
00:29:10as we've said
00:29:11the quality of the squad's there
00:29:13the threat
00:29:13in forward areas is there
00:29:15defensively
00:29:16they've been decent as well
00:29:16so
00:29:17is that something to build on
00:29:19without doubt
00:29:20you know
00:29:20scoring four goals at home
00:29:21and keeping a clean sheet
00:29:22and scoring some good goals
00:29:23as well
00:29:24then
00:29:25that has to be
00:29:26the expectation
00:29:27we spoke about
00:29:28the strength of the squad
00:29:29you know
00:29:29leaving Martin Boyle out
00:29:30and winning a game
00:29:31by 4-0
00:29:32then you know
00:29:32you've got to be happy
00:29:33with that
00:29:34and it should just make
00:29:35the players that were
00:29:35left out hungry
00:29:36to get back into the side
00:29:37and that competition
00:29:38and the squad
00:29:39should be driving
00:29:40the performances on
00:29:42and I would expect
00:29:43Tibbs to go on a run now
00:29:44but they have to
00:29:45maintain the levels
00:29:45No winning seven
00:29:46for hard to beat
00:29:47Livy
00:29:48they've lost five of those
00:29:50so that would show you
00:29:51that life back in the
00:29:52Premiership
00:29:52is proven to be
00:29:53difficult for
00:29:54David Martindale
00:29:55Yeah it is difficult
00:29:56and I think that
00:29:57you know
00:29:57those defeats have been
00:29:58by the odd goal
00:29:58apart from Celtic
00:29:59so they are a tough team
00:30:01to put away
00:30:02I mean
00:30:02teams are beating them
00:30:04but they are not getting
00:30:04it all their own way
00:30:05and I think that
00:30:07you know
00:30:07there has been a shift
00:30:08David Martindale shifted
00:30:09last season
00:30:10when they were in the
00:30:10Championship
00:30:11to being you know
00:30:11more of a team
00:30:12that wants to play
00:30:13and got some credit
00:30:15for that
00:30:15I mean they have a lot of
00:30:16possession of the ball
00:30:16today
00:30:16Yeah I mean
00:30:17they are in that period
00:30:20where they are trying
00:30:21to be that hard team
00:30:22to play against
00:30:23but also play in a
00:30:24different style
00:30:24and it is tough for them
00:30:26but I think there has been
00:30:27a lot of performances
00:30:29where Livingston have been
00:30:31in the games
00:30:32and it maybe just
00:30:33hasn't gone their way
00:30:34so no I think that
00:30:35Livingston will continue
00:30:36to be a tough team
00:30:37to play against
00:30:38this season Tom
00:30:38Do you think so?
00:30:40Just quickly
00:30:40two games in
00:30:41what's your favourite goal
00:30:42so far?
00:30:44I think
00:30:45I like Asgard's goal
00:30:47that was a nice finish
00:30:48We'll revisit this
00:30:49OK
00:30:50free flowing football
00:30:51expected now
00:30:51as Motherwell
00:30:52take on Falkirk
00:30:53A first meeting
00:30:56in 15 years
00:30:57between these two
00:30:58back in the SPL days
00:31:00that finish 1-0
00:31:01to Falkirk
00:31:02here at Fair Park
00:31:03Scott Arfield
00:31:04was in the starting 11
00:31:05way back then
00:31:05Let's have a look
00:31:06at the team news today
00:31:07He ends Bertolaski
00:31:08makes three changes
00:31:09from the side
00:31:10that were unlucky
00:31:10to lose
00:31:113-2 to Celtic
00:31:12a fortnight ago
00:31:12Callum Hendry
00:31:13Stephen Welsh
00:31:14and Elijah
00:31:15just come in
00:31:15Just one change
00:31:17for Falkirk
00:31:18from the side
00:31:18that drew with Rangers
00:31:19Sam Hart
00:31:20on loan from Port Vale
00:31:21comes in at left back
00:31:22for the injured
00:31:22Leon McCann
00:31:23Ross McKeever
00:31:24starts against
00:31:25his old club
00:31:25Motherwell
00:31:32are winning
00:31:32plenty of plaudits
00:31:33for
00:31:33they're attacking
00:31:35football
00:31:35they're coming
00:31:36forward here
00:31:37Saeed takes it
00:31:38off the toes
00:31:38of Just
00:31:39skips past the
00:31:40challenge
00:31:40he's in on goal
00:31:41and he's scored
00:31:42a brilliant
00:31:44solo goal
00:31:45to give Motherwell
00:31:46a deserved lead
00:31:47and a first goal
00:31:50in Claret and Amber
00:31:51for Ibrahim Saeed
00:31:53such an exciting
00:31:56player
00:31:56and he looks
00:31:58on it today
00:31:59he just took it off
00:32:04the toes of Elijah
00:32:05just
00:32:06skipped away
00:32:08from a couple
00:32:08of defenders
00:32:09who clattered
00:32:10into each other
00:32:10and Scott Bain
00:32:12couldn't do enough
00:32:13the ball
00:32:14deflecting past
00:32:15the goalkeeper
00:32:16on its way through
00:32:17and going into
00:32:19the top of the net
00:32:20brilliant play
00:32:22from Saeed
00:32:23well I think
00:32:27there's going to be
00:32:27a VAR check
00:32:29on this one
00:32:29you can see
00:32:30what Jens Bertolaski
00:32:31thinks as Stephen
00:32:32McLean
00:32:32comes across
00:32:33to the monitor
00:32:34well is that
00:32:38a foul
00:32:39in the build-up
00:32:39does Saeed
00:32:40foul Brad Spencer
00:32:42by stepping
00:32:42across him there
00:32:43it looks like
00:32:45the referee
00:32:46is going to
00:32:48rule this one
00:32:48out
00:32:49chalked off
00:32:51and Motherwell's
00:32:53fast start
00:32:54is ruled out
00:32:55that's what
00:32:57Ibrahim Saeed
00:32:58thinks
00:32:58is that a foul
00:32:59I don't know
00:33:00if there's much
00:33:01in that
00:33:01Saeed
00:33:04running at
00:33:06the Falkirk
00:33:07defence
00:33:07or rather
00:33:08statuesque
00:33:09it comes across
00:33:10to Maswanise
00:33:10that one
00:33:13should stand
00:33:14to Wanda
00:33:16Maswanise
00:33:16curling
00:33:18left-footed
00:33:19into the
00:33:20far corner
00:33:21and that
00:33:25one
00:33:25is more
00:33:26than
00:33:27deserved
00:33:27it's been
00:33:29a brilliant
00:33:29first half
00:33:30performance
00:33:30so far
00:33:31from the
00:33:32hosts
00:33:33the free
00:33:34flowing
00:33:35attacking
00:33:35football
00:33:36they've been
00:33:36known for
00:33:36this season
00:33:37has certainly
00:33:39been on offer
00:33:39to the home
00:33:40fans
00:33:40and that's
00:33:42a brilliant
00:33:42finish
00:33:43Miller
00:33:45didn't know
00:33:46too much
00:33:46about that
00:33:46but he's
00:33:48running at
00:33:48Johnny
00:33:49Katrumbis
00:33:49goes on the
00:33:50outside
00:33:50could come
00:33:51to
00:33:51Kyrell
00:33:52Wilson
00:33:52oh he's
00:33:54got to do
00:33:55better than
00:33:55that
00:33:55and he
00:33:56knows it
00:33:56Falkirk
00:33:58haven't had
00:33:59much to
00:34:00talk about
00:34:01in this
00:34:01first half
00:34:02but that
00:34:02was a
00:34:02huge
00:34:03opportunity
00:34:03to go
00:34:06level
00:34:06doesn't
00:34:08catch it
00:34:08at all
00:34:09and
00:34:13Motherwell
00:34:13earned
00:34:13beaten
00:34:14in eight
00:34:14home league
00:34:15games
00:34:15their longest
00:34:17run
00:34:17in a long
00:34:18long time
00:34:18and
00:34:19Ibrahim
00:34:19Saeed
00:34:20is on a
00:34:20pretty long
00:34:21run now
00:34:21tries to
00:34:22find just
00:34:22it
00:34:23doesn't
00:34:23quite
00:34:23sit
00:34:24for him
00:34:24and it
00:34:26just
00:34:26skims
00:34:27past
00:34:28the post
00:34:28but yet
00:34:31again
00:34:31Ibrahim
00:34:32Saeed
00:34:32causing all
00:34:33kinds of
00:34:33problems
00:34:34and just
00:34:35unable to
00:34:35connect
00:34:36this is
00:34:41Philip Lissop
00:34:42a half-time
00:34:42substitute
00:34:43charging into
00:34:44the Motherwell
00:34:45box
00:34:45can he
00:34:45pick out
00:34:46a Falkirk
00:34:46man in
00:34:47the middle
00:34:47Emmanuel
00:34:48Longolo
00:34:49back there
00:34:51doing his
00:34:52defensive
00:34:52duties
00:34:53he's so
00:34:53good going
00:34:54forward
00:34:54the Motherwell
00:34:55left back
00:34:55but he
00:34:57had to
00:34:58do well
00:34:59there
00:35:00to get
00:35:00in front
00:35:01of
00:35:01Wilson
00:35:02and that's
00:35:03just what
00:35:03he did
00:35:03launched
00:35:06forward
00:35:07towards
00:35:07Callum
00:35:07Hendrick
00:35:08making his
00:35:08first start
00:35:09since signing
00:35:11from Salford
00:35:11in the
00:35:12summer
00:35:12Ibrahim
00:35:13Saeed
00:35:13picks that
00:35:14one off
00:35:14he doesn't
00:35:15have much
00:35:15support
00:35:15he'll go
00:35:16himself
00:35:16it's a
00:35:16nice
00:35:17touch
00:35:17doesn't
00:35:18have the
00:35:18finish
00:35:19to match
00:35:19Scott
00:35:20Bain
00:35:20saves
00:35:21with his
00:35:21legs
00:35:22Motherwell
00:35:24looking to
00:35:24get that
00:35:25second goal
00:35:25that their
00:35:26players
00:35:27deserve
00:35:27but
00:35:28they've
00:35:29been a
00:35:29little
00:35:30profligate
00:35:30so far
00:35:32a little
00:35:32blunt
00:35:33and they'll
00:35:34need that
00:35:34second if
00:35:35they want
00:35:35to get
00:35:36rid of
00:35:36Falkirk
00:35:36here
00:35:37Tate
00:35:42opening up
00:35:42the play
00:35:43Williams
00:35:46crossing
00:35:47it's picked
00:35:47out
00:35:48MacIver
00:35:48who picks
00:35:48out
00:35:49Miller
00:35:491-1
00:35:51Calvin
00:35:54Miller
00:35:54seals it
00:35:55with a
00:35:55kiss
00:35:55Falkirk
00:35:57have their
00:35:58equaliser
00:35:59and that
00:36:02is scarcely
00:36:03believable
00:36:03after the
00:36:05first half
00:36:05that Motherwell
00:36:06had
00:36:06they really
00:36:08should be
00:36:08out of sight
00:36:09here at
00:36:09Fair Park
00:36:10but Falkirk
00:36:11have restored
00:36:12parity
00:36:13through Calvin
00:36:14Miller
00:36:14they've been
00:36:16much improved
00:36:16in the second
00:36:17half
00:36:17and John
00:36:18McGlynn
00:36:18will be
00:36:18delighted
00:36:19another
00:36:22VAR
00:36:22check
00:36:23here
00:36:23but this
00:36:24one
00:36:25will stand
00:36:26Calvin
00:36:27Miller
00:36:27is on
00:36:27side
00:36:28from
00:36:30McIver's
00:36:30flick down
00:36:31yep
00:36:31Johnny
00:36:32Kutrumbis
00:36:33playing him
00:36:33on side
00:36:33at the
00:36:34back
00:36:34post
00:36:34how can
00:36:41Motherwell
00:36:41respond
00:36:42when they
00:36:43give the
00:36:43ball away
00:36:44and Tate
00:36:45could pick
00:36:45out
00:36:46McIver
00:36:46big chance
00:36:46for Falkirk
00:36:47to go
00:36:47ahead
00:36:48Callum
00:36:49Ward
00:36:49makes
00:36:49the
00:36:49save
00:36:50McIver
00:36:52should
00:36:52probably
00:36:53do
00:36:53better
00:36:53how
00:36:56this
00:36:56game
00:36:57has
00:36:58almost
00:36:58turned
00:36:58on
00:36:59its
00:36:59head
00:36:59if
00:37:01not
00:37:01for
00:37:01the
00:37:02heroics
00:37:02of
00:37:02Callum
00:37:02Ward
00:37:33Donnell
00:37:33knocks
00:37:34to
00:37:34Elliott
00:37:35Watt
00:37:35Donnell
00:37:38trying to
00:37:38pick out
00:37:39Maswinise
00:37:39it's a good
00:37:40touch
00:37:40Bain
00:37:41makes a
00:37:41save
00:37:41could come
00:37:42to
00:37:42Stamatolopoulos
00:37:43but the
00:37:45whistle
00:37:45has already
00:37:45gone
00:37:46there's a
00:37:47handball
00:37:48from the
00:37:48Australian
00:37:48well the
00:37:51Motherwell
00:37:51fans thought
00:37:52they were
00:37:52back in
00:37:52front
00:37:53there
00:37:53they've
00:37:54not had a
00:37:55lot to
00:37:55cheer in
00:37:55the second
00:37:56half
00:37:56this was a
00:37:57brilliant ball
00:37:58over the
00:37:58top
00:37:58a brilliant
00:37:59touch
00:37:59from Maswinise
00:38:00Stamatolopoulos
00:38:01onside
00:38:02yeah
00:38:04clear handball
00:38:05there
00:38:05he doesn't
00:38:06celebrate it
00:38:06too much
00:38:07either
00:38:07I think
00:38:08he always
00:38:09knew
00:38:09and there's
00:38:13the confirmation
00:38:14the goal
00:38:14won't stand
00:38:15Manuel on
00:38:20track for a
00:38:20sixth draw
00:38:21in the
00:38:22eight
00:38:22Premiership
00:38:23games so
00:38:23far
00:38:23Adjieman
00:38:26tries to
00:38:28curl in
00:38:28it could
00:38:29drop to
00:38:29Scott
00:38:29Arfield
00:38:30super
00:38:34Scott
00:38:35Arfield
00:38:36puts
00:38:37Falkirk
00:38:37in front
00:38:38for the
00:38:38very first
00:38:39time
00:38:39and the
00:38:43fans
00:38:44at the
00:38:45top of
00:38:46that away
00:38:46stand
00:38:47would not
00:38:49have believed
00:38:49you had
00:38:50you told
00:38:50them this
00:38:50outcome
00:38:51at
00:38:51half
00:38:51time
00:38:51they were
00:38:54miles off
00:38:55it
00:38:55but somehow
00:38:56they're in
00:38:57front
00:38:57and it's
00:38:58the veteran
00:38:58Arfield
00:38:59who's put
00:38:59them there
00:39:00Motherwell
00:39:02pushing
00:39:03desperately
00:39:04to try and
00:39:04find an
00:39:05equaliser
00:39:05now
00:39:06the ball
00:39:07to the
00:39:07back
00:39:07post
00:39:08it's headed
00:39:09behind
00:39:09by a
00:39:10Falkirk
00:39:11player
00:39:11they'll have
00:39:11a corner
00:39:12but it might
00:39:13not be
00:39:13enough
00:39:13as Charles
00:39:14Cook
00:39:14was in
00:39:15there
00:39:15Motherwell
00:39:17fans must be
00:39:17scratching their
00:39:18heads
00:39:18here
00:39:18how are
00:39:20they
00:39:20behind
00:39:21we need
00:39:23to perform
00:39:24two halves
00:39:25like the
00:39:26first one
00:39:26in order to
00:39:27win
00:39:27against any
00:39:28opponent
00:39:28we weren't
00:39:29able to do
00:39:30that
00:39:30today
00:39:31and that's
00:39:31also part
00:39:31of the
00:39:32story
00:39:32why we're
00:39:33here
00:39:33empty-handed
00:39:33we've got to
00:39:34take a lot of
00:39:34belief
00:39:34from that
00:39:35win
00:39:35Motherwell
00:39:36have been
00:39:36doing
00:39:36exceptionally
00:39:36well
00:39:36they scored
00:39:37two goals
00:39:37at Parkhead
00:39:38in the
00:39:38last game
00:39:38and today
00:39:40we'll hold
00:39:41our hands
00:39:41up
00:39:41they were
00:39:41excellent
00:39:42in the
00:39:42first half
00:39:42but in the
00:39:43second half
00:39:43it was a
00:39:44different
00:39:45ball game
00:39:45and it speaks
00:39:46volumes for
00:39:47them
00:39:47we don't
00:39:48want to get
00:39:49carried away
00:39:49you're right
00:39:50but I'm sure
00:39:51it's got us
00:39:52up a little
00:39:53bit
00:39:53we have to
00:39:54build on
00:39:55that
00:39:55well done
00:39:57Falkirk
00:39:58but for
00:39:59your old
00:39:59team
00:39:59James
00:40:00it's
00:40:00deja vu
00:40:00yeah it
00:40:01is
00:40:01another
00:40:02really good
00:40:03first half
00:40:03performance
00:40:04loads to love
00:40:05about it
00:40:05loads of
00:40:05attack and
00:40:06play
00:40:06and really
00:40:08enjoyable
00:40:08to a poor
00:40:10second half
00:40:10performance
00:40:11and such
00:40:12poor goals
00:40:13to lose
00:40:13once again
00:40:14let's take a
00:40:15look at
00:40:16Motherwell
00:40:16in the
00:40:16first half
00:40:17as you
00:40:17see
00:40:17they were
00:40:18brilliant
00:40:18some of
00:40:18the
00:40:18football
00:40:18again
00:40:19excellent
00:40:20but for
00:40:21the quality
00:40:22and the
00:40:22amount of
00:40:22chances
00:40:23they create
00:40:23maybe not
00:40:24again
00:40:24the amount
00:40:25of goals
00:40:25that they
00:40:26need to
00:40:26go and
00:40:26win a game
00:40:27yeah I
00:40:27mean you
00:40:28feel that
00:40:29you know
00:40:29when Motherwell
00:40:30go ahead
00:40:30that they
00:40:31have to
00:40:32continue to
00:40:32dominate
00:40:33because there's
00:40:34been a few
00:40:34times where
00:40:35they have
00:40:35been ahead
00:40:36in the games
00:40:36and being
00:40:37able to be
00:40:38pegged back
00:40:38or the levels
00:40:39have dropped
00:40:39I mean this
00:40:40goal was
00:40:41ruled out
00:40:42for me
00:40:42wrongly
00:40:43not because
00:40:44it's Motherwell
00:40:44but I think
00:40:45Saeed just
00:40:46gets his
00:40:47body across
00:40:47as the ball
00:40:48is coming in
00:40:49and Spencer
00:40:49just runs
00:40:49through the
00:40:50back of him
00:40:51and
00:40:53I didn't
00:40:54see an
00:40:54awful lot
00:40:55wrong with
00:40:55the time
00:40:56and I'm
00:40:56struggling to
00:40:57see an
00:40:57awful lot
00:40:57wrong with
00:40:58it now
00:40:58and I know
00:40:58people say
00:40:59he's made
00:40:59the contact
00:41:00with Spencer
00:41:00but I think
00:41:01it's the other
00:41:01way round
00:41:02he has put
00:41:02his body
00:41:02across
00:41:03no doubt
00:41:03but the
00:41:04one thing
00:41:04is it's a
00:41:05brilliant goal
00:41:05brilliant finish
00:41:06from him
00:41:06and Maswanisa
00:41:07has been so
00:41:08impressive
00:41:09since he's
00:41:09come into
00:41:10Motherwell
00:41:10great first
00:41:12touch
00:41:12great finish
00:41:13and really
00:41:14to have the
00:41:17dominance in
00:41:18which Motherwell
00:41:18had
00:41:19especially with
00:41:19the goal
00:41:19being ruled
00:41:20out
00:41:20I think
00:41:21it was no
00:41:22less than
00:41:22they deserved
00:41:23to get into
00:41:23the game
00:41:24and then
00:41:25some of the
00:41:25play
00:41:26again
00:41:27the managers
00:41:27received a lot
00:41:28of praise
00:41:29and quite rightly
00:41:30so
00:41:30but a lot of
00:41:32time it's for
00:41:32taking risk at the
00:41:33back to build
00:41:34into these
00:41:34positions
00:41:34but what has
00:41:36really come on
00:41:37is when they're
00:41:38in these positions
00:41:39the interchange
00:41:40the interplay
00:41:40is very good
00:41:41but the same old
00:41:43problem for me
00:41:43is the final pass
00:41:45the final decision
00:41:46the execution
00:41:46of the shot
00:41:47and that's
00:41:48why they leave
00:41:49themselves in a
00:41:50position where
00:41:50teams can go
00:41:51and adjust at
00:41:52half time
00:41:52and come out
00:41:53and try and find
00:41:54a way to get
00:41:54back in the game
00:41:55when they are
00:41:56in the lead
00:41:56should they be
00:41:58looking at
00:41:58changing things
00:41:59the structure
00:42:00playing a bit
00:42:01more defensively
00:42:01to try and
00:42:02hang on to the
00:42:03lead
00:42:03I don't think
00:42:04it's in the
00:42:04manager's make-up
00:42:05to be honest
00:42:06it's the way
00:42:06that he sees
00:42:07the game
00:42:08and look
00:42:09we can't praise
00:42:09him for saying
00:42:10he's so brave
00:42:11and how he wants
00:42:12to play the game
00:42:12and then say
00:42:13oh but then
00:42:14when you score a
00:42:14goal you have to
00:42:15go and then
00:42:16defend
00:42:17and the issue
00:42:18for me
00:42:19you can look
00:42:20at it and say
00:42:20it's the approach
00:42:21it's the system
00:42:22I think it's
00:42:23players maybe
00:42:24just not switching
00:42:25on
00:42:25Langello does
00:42:26really well
00:42:26in the end
00:42:27to get back
00:42:27but I don't
00:42:29know if it's
00:42:30the drop
00:42:30intensity
00:42:31in the players
00:42:31did the players
00:42:32feel that the
00:42:33first half
00:42:33went so well
00:42:34that all they
00:42:35would have to
00:42:35do is come
00:42:35out in the
00:42:36second half
00:42:36and go and
00:42:37put on the
00:42:37same levels
00:42:38of performance
00:42:38because from
00:42:40a Falkup
00:42:41point of view
00:42:41you look at
00:42:41it and say
00:42:42the goals are
00:42:43really good
00:42:43and the reaction
00:42:44is excellent
00:42:45of course it is
00:42:46but you look at
00:42:47the gaps
00:42:47you look at
00:42:48the recovery
00:42:49you look at
00:42:50the intensity
00:42:50from Motherwell
00:42:52great pressure
00:42:52you have to say
00:42:53Falkup know
00:42:54that Motherwell
00:42:54are going to
00:42:54continue to play
00:42:55but if Motherwell
00:42:56are going to
00:42:56continue to play
00:42:57then there has
00:42:58to be speed
00:42:58in the pass
00:42:58there has to be
00:42:59options
00:43:00there has to be
00:43:00movement
00:43:01I think McKeever
00:43:01should put that
00:43:02away there as well
00:43:03the space that he's in
00:43:04and then this
00:43:06has nothing to do
00:43:08with a system
00:43:08for me
00:43:09Faddinger
00:43:09for whatever reason
00:43:11is drawn to
00:43:12Brian Graham
00:43:13who already has
00:43:14two players on him
00:43:15Brian Graham is
00:43:17just in there
00:43:17really
00:43:17it doesn't look
00:43:18like he's really
00:43:19going to try and
00:43:19win it
00:43:20he just knows
00:43:20he's going to
00:43:21occupy
00:43:21at this point
00:43:23when he comes in
00:43:23there's three players
00:43:24around him
00:43:25leaving
00:43:25Scott Arfield
00:43:27who for the
00:43:28whole of his
00:43:29career has lived
00:43:30off the chances
00:43:31like that
00:43:31and it's the one
00:43:32person in the
00:43:33Fulker team
00:43:34you don't want
00:43:34it to drop to
00:43:35so the recovery
00:43:36for me from the
00:43:37players
00:43:37the decision making
00:43:38in those moments
00:43:39have to be better
00:43:40and you can see
00:43:41the points dropped
00:43:43from winning
00:43:44positions
00:43:44isn't good enough
00:43:45but I think
00:43:47the manager gets
00:43:49the praise for
00:43:49the style he plays
00:43:50and I think
00:43:51we can all agree
00:43:52it's an enjoyable
00:43:53style
00:43:53but when you look
00:43:54at the goals
00:43:54conceded today
00:43:55it's not because
00:43:56the manager's asking
00:43:57them to make
00:43:58those decisions
00:43:58the players are
00:43:59making those
00:44:00decisions in game
00:44:01and I'll go back
00:44:02to it
00:44:02I don't know
00:44:03if it was a case
00:44:04of the first half
00:44:05went so well
00:44:05and it looked so
00:44:07easy that they
00:44:07thought they were
00:44:08going to just
00:44:08come out of the
00:44:08second half
00:44:09continue to do it
00:44:10and the levels
00:44:11without doubt
00:44:12dropped for me
00:44:13but you have to
00:44:14give Fulker credit
00:44:14for staying in there
00:44:15and going and
00:44:16getting a very good
00:44:17victory against a
00:44:18team that everybody's
00:44:19raving about this
00:44:19season
00:44:20OK
00:44:21well Aberdeen
00:44:22haven't won in
00:44:22Paisley in seven
00:44:24years
00:44:24and the league
00:44:25would today be
00:44:26their day
00:44:26it has been a
00:44:31very solid start
00:44:32to the season
00:44:32for St Mirren
00:44:33currently fifth
00:44:35in the league
00:44:35a cup semi-final
00:44:36to come
00:44:37today they look
00:44:38to put a
00:44:38disappointing defeat
00:44:39to Kilmarnock
00:44:40before the national
00:44:41break behind them
00:44:42after a slow start
00:44:44to the season
00:44:45Aberdeen burst
00:44:46into life
00:44:46last time out
00:44:47at home
00:44:47against Dundee
00:44:48ending any
00:44:49scoring drought
00:44:50by hitting the
00:44:50back of the net
00:44:51four times
00:44:52Saints boss
00:44:53Steven Robinson
00:44:54changes four
00:44:55from that Kilmarnock
00:44:56defeat
00:44:56a fortnight ago
00:44:58Fraser, O'Hara
00:44:59Bacchus
00:44:59and Nlundaloo
00:45:00start
00:45:01Alex Gogic
00:45:02makes his
00:45:02150th Saints
00:45:04appearance
00:45:04today
00:45:05for Aberdeen
00:45:06it would be
00:45:07expected that
00:45:07Yemi Talin
00:45:08wouldn't want to
00:45:09change much
00:45:09after a 4-0 win
00:45:10Guillemfi
00:45:11isn't in the squad
00:45:12with Gavin
00:45:13Molloy
00:45:13taking his place
00:45:14and Jesper
00:45:15Karelsen
00:45:15who scored a
00:45:16double in that
00:45:17victory
00:45:17will be
00:45:18focused
00:45:18for more
00:45:19in the squad
00:45:20and he's
00:45:21going to be
00:45:22a double in that
00:45:23shot
00:45:23O'Hara
00:45:26caresses it
00:45:27to the back
00:45:27post
00:45:27the header
00:45:28down
00:45:28and the strike
00:45:29cleared by
00:45:30Nesbitt
00:45:31just in front
00:45:32of the goal
00:45:32line
00:45:32what a start
00:45:38that would have
00:45:38been
00:45:38for the
00:45:39buddies
00:45:40this is
00:45:49Armstrong
00:45:49light pass
00:45:51for Karelsen
00:45:52and now
00:45:53Alshish
00:45:54threading it
00:45:55through
00:45:55Karelsen
00:45:56onto it
00:45:57what can
00:45:59Aberdeen
00:45:59do with it
00:46:00Alshish
00:46:00curls it
00:46:02high and
00:46:03over
00:46:03but
00:46:04impressive
00:46:04link up
00:46:05play
00:46:05Jesper
00:46:06Karelsen
00:46:07running
00:46:08onto this
00:46:08one
00:46:09a tight
00:46:10angle
00:46:10for Alshish
00:46:11to try
00:46:11and do
00:46:12anything
00:46:13that would
00:46:13threaten
00:46:14the St
00:46:14Mirren
00:46:15goalkeeper
00:46:15Phillips
00:46:19uses

00:46:20Fraser
00:46:23wins
00:46:24Phillips
00:46:25onto it
00:46:26just
00:46:28mistimed
00:46:28it
00:46:29smiles
00:46:30gritted
00:46:31teeth
00:46:31and Aberdeen
00:46:33will want
00:46:34to be
00:46:34well aware
00:46:35of Killeen
00:46:36Phillips'
00:46:37movement
00:46:37in the
00:46:38second half
00:46:39Carlsen
00:46:40for the
00:46:40Dons
00:46:41Nisbet
00:46:43who will be
00:46:44looking to
00:46:44get a lot
00:46:45more involved
00:46:45in the
00:46:45second half
00:46:46Armstrong
00:46:49with a
00:46:50pinpoint
00:46:50pass
00:46:50Alshish
00:46:52thought about
00:46:54it
00:46:54and the delay
00:46:55just prevented
00:46:56him getting
00:46:56any effort
00:46:57on goal
00:46:57chance could
00:46:59still be on
00:46:59here for
00:47:00Aberdeen
00:47:00Alshish
00:47:01leaves
00:47:02it's
00:47:03Jesper
00:47:03Carlsen
00:47:04that was
00:47:06close
00:47:07Yemi
00:47:08Tallinn
00:47:08will be
00:47:09much
00:47:10much
00:47:10happier
00:47:11with that
00:47:12kind of
00:47:12movement
00:47:13Carlsen
00:47:14had all
00:47:14the time
00:47:15to try
00:47:15and bend
00:47:16that one

00:47:51season
00:47:52it's patient

00:47:55he knew
00:47:56his surroundings
00:47:57on the
00:47:57spin
00:47:58and just
00:47:59lifted it
00:47:59into an
00:48:00area
00:48:00where
00:48:01Gogic
00:48:01could

00:52:34I thought
00:52:35our performance
00:52:36was excellent
00:52:36I thought
00:52:37we were
00:52:37very good
00:52:38throughout
00:52:38and
00:52:39had a goal
00:52:41disallowed
00:52:41which I
00:52:42haven't seen
00:52:43back yet
00:52:43but it's
00:52:44hard to see
00:52:45what it was
00:52:45disallowed
00:52:45for in the
00:52:46second phase
00:52:47of it
00:52:47it's disappointing
00:52:49of course
00:52:49we managed
00:52:50the game
00:52:50brilliantly
00:52:50with 10
00:52:50men
00:52:51I thought
00:52:51we were
00:52:51the better
00:52:51side
00:52:52with 10
00:52:52men
00:52:52as well
00:52:52and then
00:52:5330 seconds
00:52:54instead of
00:52:55putting the
00:52:55ball into
00:52:56the corner
00:52:56or into
00:52:56the box
00:52:57at least
00:52:57we get
00:52:58done on
00:52:58the counter
00:52:59so yeah
00:52:59it's a
00:53:00very hard
00:53:01one to
00:53:01take
00:53:01and we'll
00:53:02have to
00:53:03pick ourselves
00:53:03up from
00:53:03that
00:53:03I'm proud
00:53:04how we can
00:53:05manage
00:53:05different areas
00:53:06of the game
00:53:06today
00:53:07and be
00:53:07resilient
00:53:08to the end
00:53:09and the amount
00:53:12of shots
00:53:12we get away
00:53:13today
00:53:13but we just
00:53:13need to be
00:53:14a little bit
00:53:14better
00:53:14when we get
00:53:15the chances
00:53:15but then
00:53:17sometimes
00:53:18you need
00:53:18someone
00:53:18stepping forward
00:53:19and like
00:53:20Marco's goal
00:53:20today was
00:53:21incredible good
00:53:22and it's
00:53:23amazing going
00:53:24the team
00:53:25spirit
00:53:25the players
00:53:27who come in
00:53:27again
00:53:28a clean sheet
00:53:29and then
00:53:30of course
00:53:30a late winner
00:53:31because of
00:53:31the team
00:53:32spirit
00:53:32Stephen Robinson
00:53:35not a happy
00:53:35man tonight
00:53:36as Aberdeen
00:53:37finally win
00:53:37in Paisley
00:53:38James
00:53:38let's take a
00:53:39look at the
00:53:40disallowed goal
00:53:40Stephen Robinson
00:53:41is saying he's
00:53:41not seen it
00:53:42back
00:53:42I've been
00:53:43getting messages
00:53:44from St
00:53:44Martin supporters
00:53:45going crazy
00:53:45about it
00:53:46you explain it
00:53:47should it have
00:53:49been disallowed
00:53:49should it not
00:53:50have been disallowed
00:53:50is it the right
00:53:51decision
00:53:51well he's in
00:53:52offside position
00:53:53Lindley when the
00:53:54ball comes in
00:53:55is without
00:53:56doubt impacting
00:53:57Mitov's ability
00:53:59to come and
00:54:00have an impact
00:54:01in the game
00:54:02you know
00:54:03the one thing
00:54:05for me is
00:54:05is this the
00:54:06same attacking
00:54:07phase
00:54:07when the ball
00:54:09gets played
00:54:09back twice
00:54:10I'm not sure
00:54:11but you know
00:54:11for the initial
00:54:12the initial
00:54:13decision
00:54:14as to why
00:54:15the referee
00:54:15is asked to
00:54:16go to the
00:54:16monitor
00:54:16because you
00:54:17know I've
00:54:17heard people
00:54:18say it's a
00:54:18factual decision
00:54:19when it's
00:54:19offside
00:54:20the decision
00:54:21isn't is he
00:54:22offside
00:54:22we know he's
00:54:23in an offside
00:54:23position
00:54:24the decision
00:54:24is is he
00:54:25impacting the
00:54:26goalkeeper
00:54:26I think he
00:54:27goes in
00:54:27maybe that's
00:54:29where he has
00:54:29to be when
00:54:30it's a corner
00:54:30and thinks
00:54:31that you know
00:54:31I need to go
00:54:32on the goalkeeper
00:54:32because he's so
00:54:33far offside in
00:54:35relation to the
00:54:35rest of his team
00:54:36he's without doubt
00:54:37stood on the
00:54:38goalkeeper to stop
00:54:39him from coming to
00:54:40collect the ball
00:54:40and then he actually
00:54:41does make a move to
00:54:42go towards the ball
00:54:43so for me it's the
00:54:45correct decision that
00:54:46he's having an impact
00:54:47on Mitov and look
00:54:49it is a sore one
00:54:49because it's a
00:54:51brilliant header
00:54:51from Alex Gorgich
00:54:52he's got on his 150th
00:54:53appearance as well
00:54:54but without doubt
00:54:56impacting the
00:54:56goalkeeper
00:54:56you can't stand
00:54:57in a offside position
00:54:58and be in front of
00:54:59the goalkeeper
00:55:00it pains me to
00:55:01say I would find it
00:55:02pretty difficult to
00:55:03go against that
00:55:04it was definitely
00:55:05having an impact
00:55:06on Mitov
00:55:07Jadon Richardson
00:55:08sent off
00:55:08it can't be any
00:55:09complaints here
00:55:10don't you think?
00:55:10Nah
00:55:10and it's one where
00:55:12I understand the
00:55:13frustration because
00:55:14he wins the ball
00:55:16back
00:55:16does really well
00:55:17he's driving forward
00:55:18and he is pulled
00:55:20back
00:55:20it is a promising
00:55:22position
00:55:22for St Mirren
00:55:23down the right
00:55:23hand side
00:55:24but I mean
00:55:25he can't be
00:55:26kicking
00:55:26especially
00:55:27it's awkward
00:55:29because he's on
00:55:30his back
00:55:30and it is a sore
00:55:31one for Palo
00:55:32Versa
00:55:32he can have no
00:55:34complaints
00:55:34you see the
00:55:35follow through
00:55:36that's not
00:55:37accidental in any
00:55:38way
00:55:38it's intentional
00:55:40and that will
00:55:42be the frustration
00:55:43Stephen Orbison
00:55:43will be frustrated
00:55:44that the goal
00:55:44has been chalked
00:55:45off
00:55:45and he's obviously
00:55:46going to miss
00:55:46some games
00:55:46he'll be frustrated
00:55:48that they have to
00:55:49try and see the
00:55:49game out
00:55:49try and finish
00:55:51the game with
00:55:5110 men
00:55:52because as we're
00:55:53going to see in
00:55:53a minute
00:55:53I wouldn't
00:55:54capitalise on that
00:55:55well teed up
00:55:56yep
00:55:56do you want me
00:55:58to do your job
00:55:59aye just do it
00:55:59so the goal
00:56:01for me is
00:56:03absolutely
00:56:03magnificent
00:56:04you know
00:56:05Lazatic
00:56:05chasing the
00:56:07ball down
00:56:07it looks for
00:56:08all in the
00:56:08world
00:56:09he's going to
00:56:09play this
00:56:09back to
00:56:10Jensen
00:56:10everybody thinks
00:56:12he is
00:56:12it's a brilliant
00:56:14first touch
00:56:15great little
00:56:15dummy
00:56:16and not only
00:56:17that
00:56:17when he gets
00:56:18into the
00:56:18position
00:56:18you know
00:56:19this is where
00:56:20the frustration
00:56:20is for
00:56:21Stephen
00:56:21Robinson
00:56:21they don't
00:56:22match the
00:56:22runner
00:56:22this for me
00:56:24is ridiculous
00:56:26skill
00:56:26because
00:56:27you've talked
00:56:28about a player
00:56:29a couple of
00:56:29weeks ago
00:56:30a few weeks
00:56:31ago
00:56:31against Motherwell
00:56:32where you're
00:56:32thinking right
00:56:32if he's playing
00:56:34and he's
00:56:34confident
00:56:35then he might
00:56:36find the net
00:56:36if he doesn't
00:56:37find the net
00:56:37then he'll
00:56:37pick the right
00:56:38pass
00:56:39but this
00:56:39shows you
00:56:40the level
00:56:41this boy
00:56:41can be at
00:56:42great little
00:56:43touch
00:56:43brilliant turn
00:56:44the finish is
00:56:45excellent
00:56:45because the angle
00:56:46he's not got a lot
00:56:47to aim for there
00:56:48to put that in the
00:56:50side net
00:56:50and to do it
00:56:51in the last
00:56:51minute
00:56:51and to go
00:56:53and make that
00:56:53back to back
00:56:54wins for Aberdeen
00:56:54it's a huge goal
00:56:56in the context of
00:56:56their season
00:56:57I was going to say
00:56:57that
00:56:58back to back
00:56:59wins
00:56:59off the bottom
00:57:00of the table
00:57:00psychologically
00:57:04of fourth place
00:57:05which seems strange
00:57:06given the start
00:57:06that they made
00:57:07to the season
00:57:08much like
00:57:08how do you expect
00:57:09them to kick on
00:57:10how they play
00:57:11Hibs next week
00:57:12at Potardrie
00:57:12incidentally
00:57:13I think the big
00:57:13shift for me
00:57:14was the change
00:57:15in formation
00:57:15from Jimmy Tullien
00:57:16against Motherwell
00:57:17and people still
00:57:18looked at it
00:57:19and said
00:57:19he lost the game
00:57:192-0
00:57:20and how much
00:57:21can you take
00:57:21from it
00:57:21but you could
00:57:22see that
00:57:22it was a manager
00:57:23that was willing
00:57:23to change
00:57:23you could see
00:57:24it was a group
00:57:24of players
00:57:25that were hungry
00:57:25to do well
00:57:26and you felt
00:57:27that the talk
00:57:28was about
00:57:28scoring goals
00:57:29or lack of goals
00:57:30for Aberdeen
00:57:31they got four
00:57:32last time out
00:57:33they go to a
00:57:34very tough team
00:57:35to play against
00:57:35in St Mirren
00:57:36you probably
00:57:36come back to me
00:57:37and say
00:57:37they're not that
00:57:38hard to play against
00:57:38a tough team
00:57:40to play against
00:57:41that are so
00:57:41drilled in what
00:57:42they do
00:57:42so good at
00:57:42what they do
00:57:43and to go
00:57:44and get the
00:57:44victory
00:57:44I think that
00:57:45could be a
00:57:45huge moment
00:57:46for Aberdeen
00:57:46and you can
00:57:47see what it
00:57:48means to
00:57:48Jimmy Tullien
00:57:49you can see
00:57:50what it means
00:57:50to the players
00:57:50to the fans
00:57:51at the end
00:57:51so Aberdeen
00:57:52will be hoping
00:57:53that that's
00:57:53something they
00:57:53can kick on
00:57:54from
00:57:54Kelly have
00:57:56managed back

00:59:31Watson's gone

00:59:40from Watson
00:59:41a couple of

00:59:46to the

00:59:59looking to
00:59:59change that
01:00:00here
01:00:00Kingsley
01:00:04leaves it
01:00:04it's Kisaridis
01:00:05dangerous looking
01:00:06ball and it
01:00:07takes a flick
01:00:07on its way
01:00:08through
01:00:08and it'll be
01:00:09a Harts
01:00:09corner
01:00:10Brown
01:00:11with a touch
01:00:12at the near
01:00:13post
01:00:13but with this
01:00:14kind of
01:00:15delivery
01:00:15all it needs
01:00:16is a touch
01:00:17unfortunately
01:00:18for Kilmarnock
01:00:19is the
01:00:20outside of
01:00:22the post
01:00:22it must have
01:00:26be Harry
01:00:27Mill
01:00:27to send
01:00:28the ball
01:00:29in from
01:00:29the corner
01:00:30it's Halkin
01:00:31again
01:00:32all alone
01:00:36in the
01:00:36six yard
01:00:37box
01:00:37to notch
01:00:38his third
01:00:39goal in
01:00:39his last
01:00:40three games
01:00:40it's a
01:00:43terrific
01:00:43ball in
01:00:44and Halkin
01:00:44somehow
01:00:45finds the
01:00:46space
01:00:47and provides
01:00:49the emphatic
01:00:50header
01:00:50just loses
01:00:51Robbie
01:00:52Dees
01:00:52a little
01:00:54nudge on
01:00:54him there
01:00:55to buy
01:00:55himself
01:00:56a yard
01:00:56or two
01:00:57and he
01:00:59does the

01:00:59emphatically
01:01:00another
01:01:04corner
01:01:08another Halkin
01:01:09header
01:01:10another Halkin
01:01:11effort
01:01:11off the line
01:01:12he's in it
01:01:14once more
01:01:15brown clear
01:01:16such a threat
01:01:18in the opposition
01:01:19penalty area
01:01:20at the moment
01:01:20first header
01:01:22blocked
01:01:23follow-up also
01:01:26here by
01:01:26Anderson
01:01:27back to Dees
01:01:40who sends it in
01:01:42walks and wins
01:01:43the header
01:01:43and helps it on
01:01:45looking for Dakers
01:01:47to try and do
01:01:48some damage
01:01:48leaves for a penalty
01:01:50Dakers goes for a goal
01:01:51he's not far off the target
01:01:52he's still claiming
01:01:55there was a foul
01:01:57in there as well
01:01:58as it comes back in
01:02:03here from Watson
01:02:04and Kilty
01:02:06challenged by Milne
01:02:09Dakers
01:02:12really got a good
01:02:14shot for a corner
01:02:14at the very least
01:02:15McAtee
01:02:27clips it forward
01:02:28and they've just got to
01:02:29be careful here
01:02:30and Braga's
01:02:32got the better of them
01:02:33and it's Devlin
01:02:35well Cam Devlin
01:02:37made a terrific run
01:02:38but couldn't find
01:02:39the finish
01:02:40the way that would
01:02:41have been
01:02:42to finish the first
01:02:43period
01:02:43Braga
01:02:45really well
01:02:46against Milne
01:02:47and Devlin
01:02:48will feel
01:02:49he should have
01:02:50been doing better
01:02:51as does his manager
01:02:55as does his manager
01:02:55McAtee
01:03:04building support
01:03:07Shankman looks
01:03:10to attack it
01:03:11too far away
01:03:13he's trying to bundle
01:03:36his way through
01:03:36there
01:03:37Anderson gets the
01:03:43flick on
01:03:44Kilty
01:03:44could be in here
01:03:45Dakers waiting
01:03:47and it's
01:03:48eventually
01:03:49Bruce Anderson
01:03:50who gets the header
01:03:50on target
01:03:52but it's a comfortable
01:03:55take for
01:03:55Svolov
01:03:56better from
01:03:57Kumana
01:03:58Kilty
01:03:58trying to pick out
01:03:59Dakers here
01:04:00Halkett made sure
01:04:01it didn't get there
01:04:02Anderson
01:04:03with the reaction
01:04:05header
01:04:05Stemger's got to be
01:04:11careful
01:04:11gives that one away
01:04:12and it could
01:04:14pose further
01:04:16problems here
01:04:17Beach makes the
01:04:18save
01:04:18on the rebound
01:04:19Hartz make it two
01:04:21and it's Claudio
01:04:24Braga
01:04:24it's just a basic
01:04:29error
01:04:29and Hartz
01:04:31pounce
01:04:32initial shot
01:04:36from Kisiridis
01:04:37paring straight
01:04:39into the path
01:04:40of Braga
01:04:40by Beach
01:04:41and Hartz
01:04:46now
01:04:47with the two-goal
01:04:49cushion
01:04:49where they've been
01:04:53playing this season
01:04:54back them to
01:04:58see this one out
01:04:59now
01:05:11Kisiridis
01:05:12pouncing
01:05:13in the short
01:05:14ball
01:05:14back
01:05:15from Watson
01:05:15Braga's
01:05:17in again
01:05:17that's wonderful
01:05:18from Claudio
01:05:19Braga
01:05:20Kili the
01:05:24architecture
01:05:25their own
01:05:25downfall
01:05:26once more
01:05:27but give
01:05:28that man
01:05:28half a chance
01:05:29and he's
01:05:30liable
01:05:30to take it
01:05:31the misunderstanding
01:05:33there
01:05:34is
01:05:34Neil's
01:05:36reluctant
01:05:36to try
01:05:37and take
01:05:37it on
01:05:37first time
01:05:38and Kisiridis
01:05:39and Braga
01:05:41combine
01:05:42devastating
01:05:49from Hartz
01:05:50beautiful feet
01:05:54from the Portuguese
01:05:56fifth goal
01:06:00in the Premiership
01:06:01for Claudio
01:06:02Braga
01:06:03there's Lions
01:06:12Tiffany
01:06:14it's all over
01:06:23an ultimately comfortable victory for Derek McInnes' hearts
01:06:29as they march on at the top of the table
01:06:32and they've not only
01:06:35bettered their record at the start of 2018
01:06:39it's now shades of George Burley's side
01:06:42in 05-06
01:06:44the way things are going
01:06:46but he'll Braga with a double
01:06:48and Craig Halkitz
01:06:49opening header
01:06:51giving them the victory
01:06:53at Rugby Park
01:06:55in front of a massive away support
01:06:57it finishes Kilmarnocknell
01:07:00Hartstreet
01:07:01I think we shoot ourselves in the foot
01:07:04we shoot ourselves in the foot
01:07:05against a good team
01:07:06that's got bundles of quality
01:07:07we've not seen that level of individual errors
01:07:10simple as that
01:07:11you know
01:07:11conceding from a set play
01:07:12something we spend a lot of time on
01:07:14and we know the threats that they have
01:07:16and it's just all too easy
01:07:18for Craig Halkitz
01:07:18to find a bit of space in their box
01:07:20the delivery's good
01:07:20and then ultimately our response is
01:07:22two more individual errors
01:07:23really pleased
01:07:24obviously for people who didn't watch the game
01:07:26and just see the scoreline
01:07:27I think it was all a bit straightforward
01:07:29it was far from that
01:07:30I thought it was
01:07:31very frantic first half
01:07:33I thought Kilmarnock started
01:07:34the first 10-15 minutes or so
01:07:35the better side
01:07:36I thought we were guilty of
01:07:39giving away too many fouls
01:07:40no looking after the first pass
01:07:41poor over clearances
01:07:44and just invited a bit of pressure
01:07:45but I think once we
01:07:47got the first goal
01:07:48brilliant goal once again
01:07:50for a set play
01:07:51lovely delivery for Harry
01:07:52great header for Halkit
01:07:53I thought we were a bit better in the game
01:07:56Hearts remain unbeaten
01:07:59as they dismantle Kilmarnock
01:08:01on Derek McInnes
01:08:02he's returned to Rugby Park
01:08:03James you cannot help but be impressed
01:08:04no you can't
01:08:05and you know
01:08:07Hearts have had a brilliant start
01:08:09to the season
01:08:09and they look like they're going to continue
01:08:11and look
01:08:12when you go to places like Kilmarnock
01:08:15you know that you're going to be
01:08:16you know they're tough games to play
01:08:18and the pressure is now starting to
01:08:20build on Hearts as well
01:08:22because people are looking and saying
01:08:23expectation levels
01:08:23they can't keep this up
01:08:25surely they can't keep winning
01:08:26so they're dealing with that
01:08:27they're winning games
01:08:29and you know
01:08:29Derek's showing his respect to
01:08:31Ketwell and the job he's doing
01:08:32at Kilmarnock
01:08:33and obviously his old club
01:08:34but you know
01:08:35to go and win 3-0
01:08:36he'll be absolutely delighted
01:08:37the chances in the game as well
01:08:38so no the juggernaut
01:08:40keeps rolling on for Hearts
01:08:41good faddy
01:08:42three words
01:08:43Halkett goal machine
01:08:44unbelievable
01:08:45unbelievable
01:08:46three goals in a row for him now
01:08:47and arguably
01:08:49as much as you know
01:08:50be delighted with the goals
01:08:52you know he's in great shape
01:08:54he's playing
01:08:54you know probably his best football
01:08:56but he's so aggressive
01:08:58you know
01:08:58the delivery from Harry Milne
01:09:00is excellent
01:09:01it's really
01:09:02in the area
01:09:03exactly where you want it
01:09:04there's a little
01:09:04you know
01:09:05jostle
01:09:06with Robbie Dees
01:09:07at the near post there
01:09:08and Halkett
01:09:09you know
01:09:10showing his strength
01:09:10but also the aggression
01:09:12to go and meet that
01:09:13and put it in the back of net
01:09:14fantastic header
01:09:15and you know
01:09:17Hearts
01:09:17Hearts defenders
01:09:18Hearts from set plays
01:09:19are really
01:09:20really dominant this season
01:09:21they are
01:09:22Braga
01:09:24has been a brilliant signing
01:09:26for Hearts
01:09:27he's got such a good relationship
01:09:28with Lauren Shankland
01:09:29up front for Hearts
01:09:31two more goals again today
01:09:32but it's more than that
01:09:33his link up play is excellent
01:09:34he's so intelligent
01:09:35yeah he is
01:09:36look I think he's
01:09:37he's been a tremendous signing
01:09:38I think that
01:09:39you know
01:09:40obviously you get credit
01:09:42for the identification
01:09:43of him
01:09:44and you know
01:09:44what's been made
01:09:46about Jane Fowler analytics
01:09:47but I think that
01:09:48you have to credit
01:09:49Lauren Shankland as well
01:09:50for being
01:09:51you know aware of
01:09:53where he has to be
01:09:54to allow Braga
01:09:55and the rest of his teammates
01:09:57to go and flourish
01:09:58but there is no doubt
01:09:59that
01:09:59he has been
01:10:00an unbelievable signing
01:10:02for Hearts
01:10:03what are you saying
01:10:03about the Ronaldo celebration
01:10:05I'm not having the
01:10:06Hearts fans joining in
01:10:07with a Sue celebration
01:10:09but they are allowed
01:10:10to do whatever they want
01:10:11at the minute
01:10:11but this is
01:10:12just a player
01:10:13that again
01:10:14you want to go and watch
01:10:15because
01:10:16you know
01:10:17he's got real quality
01:10:18I think his work rate
01:10:19is outstanding
01:10:19and he's a real problem
01:10:21for defenders
01:10:22you know
01:10:22the partnership
01:10:23that he has
01:10:24with Lauren Shankland
01:10:24as I said
01:10:25I think Shankland knows
01:10:26when to drop in
01:10:27when to pull into
01:10:28the wide areas
01:10:29to allow the space
01:10:29for Braga
01:10:30but showing that
01:10:31the composure
01:10:33to put the ball
01:10:34in the back of the net
01:10:35he's been a fantastic signing
01:10:36I think Hearts have
01:10:37really hit the jackpot
01:10:38with all their signings
01:10:39this summer
01:10:39and that can only bode well
01:10:40for the future for them
01:10:41I mean there's a familiarity
01:10:43about the team selection
01:10:44from Derek McInnes
01:10:45and that is always
01:10:46a sign that things
01:10:47are going well
01:10:48when you're picking
01:10:48the same team
01:10:49week in
01:10:49week out
01:10:50and they're getting
01:10:51the result
01:10:51yeah it is
01:10:52and I think that
01:10:53we don't see it
01:10:54too often these days
01:10:55with you know
01:10:56the younger manager
01:10:56and the younger coach
01:10:57want to make the changes
01:10:58and maybe look at games
01:10:59and how they can try
01:11:01and you know
01:11:01integrate other players
01:11:02into the team
01:11:03but Derek McInnes
01:11:03has obviously found
01:11:04a formula that's working
01:11:05for him at the minute
01:11:05and I like to see it
01:11:07because you want players
01:11:08you know
01:11:08I mean you're no centre
01:11:10centre back
01:11:10you need to score
01:11:11every week
01:11:11but he scores three in a row
01:11:12and I know there's
01:11:13not too many changes
01:11:14in that department
01:11:14but we spoke about Braga
01:11:16and the impact that he's had
01:11:17I think Kiziridis as well
01:11:18Cammy Devon this season
01:11:19for me has been excellent
01:11:20as well
01:11:21showing a lot more
01:11:21maturity and composure
01:11:23to his performances
01:11:24Benny Beningame
01:11:25if he can stay fit
01:11:26another massive player
01:11:27for Hearts
01:11:28so I think when you've got
01:11:29all these players
01:11:30available to you
01:11:31and you're winning
01:11:32it's easy to keep
01:11:34the same team
01:11:35but you've also got
01:11:35players that are desperate
01:11:36to then come into the team
01:11:37and have an impact
01:11:38in the game
01:11:38so no look
01:11:39Hearts are in a great
01:11:40position at the minute
01:11:41and I can see this run
01:11:42continuing
01:11:42I really can
01:11:43for Kilmarnock
01:11:44they have started the season
01:11:45well
01:11:45and Stuart Kitterwell
01:11:47rightly furious
01:11:48how cheap the goals were
01:11:49that they gave away
01:11:50not like his teams
01:11:51to do that really
01:11:51is it?
01:11:52no it's not
01:11:52and I can understand
01:11:54that frustration
01:11:54because
01:11:55it's not like them
01:11:57they've had a good season
01:11:58they do concede
01:12:00too many goals
01:12:01I have to say
01:12:01but you need to remember
01:12:02the point against Hearts
01:12:03they're top of the league
01:12:04and Hearts are going to be difficult
01:12:05so the frustration for him
01:12:07is that you're not
01:12:07you're giving them
01:12:08too much time and space
01:12:09and not having to work
01:12:10too hard for their goals
01:12:11just quickly
01:12:11a goal of the night
01:12:13Lazatic
01:12:13Lazatic
01:12:14I'll take it
01:12:15ok let's have a quick look
01:12:16at the table
01:12:17shall we
01:12:17and Hearts are top
01:12:19clear
01:12:20with five points clear
01:12:21Kelly are down to fifth

01:12:23has them
01:12:24on 11 points
