00:15And B, over the last week, I've been texting with a bunch of folks
00:20just trying to get a sense of where the draft's going to go.
00:23And I posted this morning, for Washington,
00:27and basically I amassed some thoughts of the four NFC East teams
00:34because the NFC East, one, Philly's Philly.
00:37Howie's going to be super aggressive.
00:38Yeah, yeah, very.
00:39The Cowboys have two first-round picks.
00:42The Eagles are going to be aggressive.
00:45The Giants have five and ten.
00:47I mean, if you wait that out on the draft value chart,
00:51I mean, that's going to be damn close to one if you just wait it out.
00:58And certainly Washington holds the seventh overall pick, right?
01:02And I think for Washington and the Giants,
01:05I have fairly normal draft expectations, if you will.
01:10For Philly and Dallas, it's even more interesting.
01:13But, I mean, to start with, for the commanders,
01:18Adam Peters said, on record, in front of cameras,
01:21with a zillion microphones in front of him,
01:24more likely than not, we're going to be making the pick at seven.
01:27He's not ruling out a trade.
01:30Yeah.
01:30I think a trade is certainly possible.
01:32Totally.
01:33But I think, I think he's telling the truth.
01:36More likely than not, I think they make the pick at seven.
01:38What he's saying, if somebody don't come in and blow our top off,
01:42we're not going to take it.
01:44We're going to make our pick.
01:45Because, Les, what I was stating yesterday is that you look at the seventh pick,
01:51there are multiple guys they can pick, and you should be happy.
01:54So it's not like they don't have anybody they can pick.
01:57You know, so at this point now, if you don't blow us away,
02:02we're taking one of the people that we have on our board.
02:04So, we all know, if you listen to our program regularly,
02:10the reality of the NFL, with decision makers,
02:13it's a self-preservation league.
02:14And you've got to make your decisions look good.
02:18And I, we said last year, coming off a 5-12 season
02:23with some really embarrassing moments,
02:25nobody's job was in jeopardy.
02:26Yep.
02:27Because of the memories of the 12-5 the year before in the NFC title run,
02:31and you had a ton of injuries, complicating evaluations of what went down, right?
02:38But that only lasts a year.
02:40Like, GMs and head coaches tend to be on different timelines across the league.
02:45However, I'd say AP and DQ seem particularly close.
02:49And AP came from a structure in San Fran
02:53where the GM and the head coach are particularly close.
02:58Here's my thing with number seven.
03:00They don't want to be drafting that high.
03:03Like, there are some teams, Tennessee, for instance,
03:07if they're being honest and Robert Sala's being honest,
03:11what is the percent chance that the Titans are drafting in the top 10 again in 27?
03:17Pretty decent.
03:18Yeah.
03:18I mean, they've been bad, right?
03:20Mm-hmm.
03:21If you are Arizona,
03:23and you have the number three overall pick going into this draft,
03:25but you're basically in complete rebuild mode,
03:30the chances of you drafting top 10 again next year?

03:42but we got to make the most of it.

03:44And if you are trying to make the most of this,

03:51especially with blue-chip talent,
03:54on a team that needs to win,
03:57you need to win games.
03:59I really think for DQ,
04:01I don't think anybody's thinking about this,
04:03but they got to win at least like seven.
04:04You can't have another five or sixer.
04:09So you need to win.
04:11You know you could add a skill position player
04:15for your best player to make Jaden better.
04:17Because the best way for them to win
04:19is for Jaden to be healthy
04:20and Jaden to be awesome again, right?
04:23That's the best path.
04:24So how do we make that happen?
04:27Well, could we add a stud receiver?

06:02And I know it caught us all by surprise
06:05and it didn't seem like it for a while
06:06and then the injuries piled up.

07:40the defense wasn't great.
07:41They were 18th in points allowed.
07:44But the offense was fifth.
07:45You got more possessions.
07:46You got more balance.
07:47If we're doing a tug-of-war

07:52four or five people,
07:55I can hold them off
07:56for a little bit,
07:56but eventually they're
07:57going to get me.

07:58and grab a little bit,
