00:00Brady B, what do you honestly think is at stake for this commander's team this season come Sunday night?
00:09Listen, as we keep saying stuff is wide open and they can keep getting into it,
00:14every time they lose a game, that begins to close quickly.
00:19So if they want to keep anything still capable of reaching, they have to win this game.
00:32But I think it's twofold.
00:34You're right.
00:35If you want to have this season matter in the slightest, you have to win this game.
00:42Yeah.
00:43You got 11 games left.
00:45I don't even think it's really worth getting caught up in the, like,
00:47how many do they have to win to get to the –
00:50You don't know that according to what the other teams are going to lose some games too,
00:54which could throw it off.
00:55But they just need to start winning and be on the positive side
01:00instead of sitting up here expecting or needing someone to help them.
01:03Dallas could get hot.
01:04The Giants could keep winning.
01:06Like, a million things could happen, right?
01:08I think to win the NFC East, considering the Giants are already at four
01:12and they have ten games left,
01:15the Giants could go five and five and get to nine wins
01:19and hypothetically win the NFC East.
01:21So, like, to me, they got 11 games left.
01:23If you want to break down and they have to go eight and three, seven and four,
01:26like, I think that's just too far out.
01:29We have no idea what Minnesota is going to look like in December.
01:32It's a week-to-week league.
01:34Not at all.
01:35But I think last year – we did this last night on All Ears
01:39and kind of went through where things are for Dan Quinn.
01:43And the first year, it was electric.
01:45Every move that was made went right.
01:48They went 12-5, win two playoff games.
01:51I mean, there were so many moments that year that were just incredible, right?
01:57Last year, everything goes wrong.
01:59And we just had Dave Zangaro on from Philadelphia.
02:02And could Sirianni get fired if things go sideways in Philly this year?
02:06Yeah, I think he could.
02:07I think a lot of that is Philadelphia, right?
02:10But Sirianni might also get to play the man.
02:13Everybody got hurt, including our starting quarterback.
02:15It was a lost season.
02:17Dan Quinn got to play that card for last year.
02:20And he's coming off the highs of 24 with the NFC title game.
02:24And then 25 was a bust.
02:26It was injury-riddled.
02:28It was a mess.
02:30But 26, you don't get that card twice.
02:34And honestly, Jaden looks like he's going –
02:37like, having the elbow thing figured out, at least playable for now,
02:42I'm expecting some level of health for Jaden going forward.
02:46And specific to Sunday night, I don't think it makes a ton of sense to fire a coach week nine,
02:54going into week nine in the NFL.
02:56I just don't know that that makes you better.
02:58But if you're Josh Harris, you may just reach a breaking point, depending how it looks.
03:03Philly is playing their backup quarterback.
03:05Might be their sixth-string running back.
03:07They might be down their top three receivers.
03:09Like, we'll see who ends up playing by Sunday night.
03:12But I think there's what's at stake for this season and being relevant in an NFC East race.
03:19And there's also what's at stake for the head coach.
03:22And I think he's aware of that.
03:24Quinn's been in the league a long time.
03:25Yeah, he understands everything that we are discussing.
03:28You know, nothing that we're discussing is not nothing that he doesn't know.
03:34But he has to go coach.
03:36He can't worry about those things.
03:38He's got to be ready to go, make sure that he's going to play.
03:41You know, because whatever's going to happen, let's be real, the way you get to a point when you work
03:47in this profession is
03:48whatever's going to happen is going to happen.
03:51And as an individual, what you've got to do is make sure you do everything you can to make the
03:57positive thing happen.
04:00Because you can do everything right.
04:02And somebody can still say, nah, we need change.
04:05You know what I mean?
04:06Totally.
04:07So, I mean, the whole thing is Dan, I like Dan.
04:11Dan's a good dude.
04:12And I think Dan tries his best.
04:16But Dan takes all blame for everything when he doesn't put this whole thing together by himself.
04:25So, I just think, keep doing what you think.
04:29And because whatever's going to happen is going to happen.
04:32Yeah.
04:33Quinn cannot worry about the noise, about his job.
04:36He can't.
04:36None of that can be on his mind.
04:38And I think for a guy like that, it might not be, honestly.
04:41Like, he might be aware of, we just got to focus on this game.
04:45And is there maybe a chance to get back in the division?
04:48Yeah.
04:49That might really exist.
04:50But it really doesn't matter if you don't win Sunday night.
04:55And then, like, the math people will get out there and be like, well, they have 10 games left.
04:58And you go 9-1 and blah, blah, blah.
05:00Like, I just, you have an opportunity against a division opponent at home that you haven't beat in the last
05:10four games.
05:11Right?
05:11NFC title game.
05:12I think they lost both last year and they lost week one this year.
05:16If I have my math correct on that.
05:18I don't think they beat Philly last year.
05:19Do you?
05:22No, they did beat them.
05:24No, that was the first year.
05:25The first year they had to come back when Hurts left the game and it was Kenny Pickett.
05:30So, you haven't beaten this team in four tries.
05:33So, you got to win this game on a zillion different levels.
05:35I think it's also winnable, which changes everything.
05:39I don't know, like, the at-stake question is, like, relatively sensational because it's, like, what is at-stake?
05:50The team's won.
05:51Chig Okonkwo spoke in the locker room yesterday.
05:55And I haven't heard.
05:56Chig hasn't talked a lot this year.
05:59Some of that was because training camp's kind of weird, trying to grab players off the field.
06:02And then he was hurt for a couple weeks.
06:05But Chig, I thought, one, is, like, really eloquent.
06:07But, two, was he said something to the effect of, like, yeah, you know, we've been struggling and we're trying
06:13to get our way out of it.
06:14And somebody followed up with him and they're, like, what do you mean struggling?
06:17And he's, like, well, the record.
06:18We're 1-4-1.
06:20Like, I don't think when your record, when you have one win in week eight, it's pretty damn obvious what's
06:26at stake.
06:28Yeah, it's obviously at stake.
06:29But, see, just like we've said and after they've said, too, one play here or there, they could have two
06:36more wins.
06:38Possibly three.
06:40You know?
06:41One play here or there.
06:43And that's what the players are understanding, like, if we don't make that mistake, if we get this corrected, we
06:48get that corrected.
06:48And that's what you're constantly chasing.
06:50You know, we and fans look at record.
06:55They look at why the record is what it is.
06:59Nobody else looks at why the record is.
07:01The coaches look at the why.
07:02They look at the why.
07:04And you hope that the people that are above you that can fire you and can keep you are looking
07:10at the whys.
07:11So, when they say struggling, that's where the struggle comes from.
07:14Like, every time we seem to do something real good, boom, we do something terrible or stupid to affect that.
07:21And we have to correct that.
07:23So, if they can correct those things, listen, it ain't about Philly being hurt.
07:28It's about what this team does.
07:30And if they can get to what the best is.
07:33I don't think anybody on this team can say that they played anywhere close to their best.
07:37Not even in the half a game they played.
07:39Real quick, one correction.
07:41Washington won in Philadelphia last year, week 18.
07:44Remember, Josh Johnson got the win.
07:46That was a largely irrelevant game for both teams.
07:49But they have beat them in the last four.
07:52I think you're so right that when you dig a little deeper on the record, there have been a number
08:00of winnable games for Washington.
08:02They had the ball last down six in San Fran with an attempt to go to the end zone.
08:07The tie is inexplicable.
08:09It's inexplicable.
08:10The tie, like, if it goes bad Sunday night and they lose and Quinn is fired, which I'm still not
08:16sure will happen, but I do think it's a possibility, it'll be because of the tie against the Giants.
08:21It won't necessarily, the top of the list of reasons why you make that move is the tie against the
08:25Giants, not the loss to the Eagles Sunday night.
08:27I think one problem for Quinn is you are completely right in that there are three games, Niners, Eagles, Giants,
08:38that if things break their way, you're probably talking one, maybe two more wins.
08:46The fact that that's happened repeatedly, too, ultimately lands back on Quinn.
08:52It lands on Quinn, but the whole thing about it is the people that make decisions like we don't have
09:02the control, they look at everything.
09:05We look at the fact.
09:06Like, right now, when you look at this season, you start talking about the possibilities of where they could be.
09:12Only thing that keeps popping up is the Giants' debacle.
09:16That's the only thing everybody else cares about.
09:18Media people, fans, that's all they care about.
09:21But all that other stuff is to be looked at as well.
09:25They don't, they don't, their luxury is not, I'm just pissed at that.
09:31But, you know, yeah, it may be something that you feel like should have never happened, but you can't just
09:35get stuck on that.
09:36You got to look at the whole thing.
09:38We, on the other hand, fans, on the other hand, they look at that and they say, that one thing,
09:44bye.
09:44We don't care about anything else.
09:47Like, you look at that, see how bad it is.
09:49If they go on this amazing run, they're going to be still people saying, but.
09:55You shouldn't have given them a chance.
09:58But, the people that make the decision can't be like that.
10:01Yeah, I mean, to me, if you're talking like actual getting rid of an NFL head coach, which is a
10:07really big deal to an NFL organization.
10:10You've got two games between November 1st and November 12th.
10:15You've got three games in three weeks.
10:16You have three games in 12 days.
10:19Two of them are division games.
10:21Like, do you really want to flip that thing upside down with another division game looming?
10:25I'm not so sure.
