00:06Welcome to RuPaul's Drag Race Reunited.
00:09You've watched it, they've lived it, and now the whole family's back together to work it out.
00:16Release the Kraken!
00:19These first two fierce queens came to win, but sadly, they were gone too soon.
00:25Please welcome back Venus Delight and Phoenix.
00:27Pose, now Vogue, rising from the ashes.
00:32The last time we saw these two queens together, one was head and shoulders above the other.
00:38Please welcome back Mimi I'm First and India Farrah.
00:42Pose, Pose Art said.
00:45Up next, the Belle of the Ballroom from Hotlanta DA.
00:50And we call this queen, Mariah.
00:53Don't be throwing no shade, she just wants to get paid.
01:00Well hello ladies.
01:01Hello.
01:02Now I've dedicated the song you've just heard to you and all my girls.
01:07And it just so happens to be the title track off my new album, Glamazon.
01:12Available on iTunes.
01:14Now speaking of Glamazons, how are you Miss Venus Delight?
01:19I'm great, how are you?
01:20Fantastic, great to see you.
01:21Great to see you too.
01:22Now being the first girl to go must really suck.
01:26To be honest, it's actually been a mixed blessing because since after the show, it made people even more interested
01:32in me because they really didn't get to see a lot of me.
01:35Now it was revealed during the show that you had some work done to look like Madonna.
01:39Yes.
01:40Would you go further with it?
01:41I've had some since I've been gone.
01:43Really?
01:43I have.
01:44What did you have done?
01:45Just a little more facial work.
01:47Just a little here and there.
01:48Injections?
01:49Injections.
01:49Would you consider having a little mini Lourdes created?
01:52You know what?
01:53When Madonna fades out and Lourdes becomes famous, I think it's going to be my next illusion.
01:57And I naturally have brown eyes, so.
01:59Oh really?
01:59I naturally have a brown eye too.
02:01Oh, well.
02:02Well, well, well.
02:03Now having watched the rest of the season at home, which one of the challenges would you have rocked?
02:08The Snatch Game.
02:10So can I put you on the spot and give you a Snatch Game question for Madonna?
02:16Okay.
02:17Dumb Dora is so dumb.
02:21She thinks a Kardashian is a blank.
02:25She thinks a Kardashian is my next DJ boyfriend.
02:27DJ Kardashian.
02:30Fabulous, Madonna.
02:31Lady Phoenix.
02:33Yes, Rudy.
02:33Now, watching at home, were you shocked by your performance as Lady Tata
02:38in the drag queens from outer space?
02:40Well, you know, I've never claimed to try to win an Oscar.
02:42So, you know, I mean.
02:43How about a Golden Globe?
02:44I mean, possibly.
02:46NAACP image war.
02:48So what did you think when you saw yourself?
02:50Because I've never been in front of the camera like this, you know,
02:53they kept screaming at me to cheat the camera, cheat the camera.
02:56And I'm like, what the fuck?
02:58I don't cheat on anybody.
02:59I'm like, what is going on?
03:00So, you know, it was really like, really confusion.
03:03All right.
03:03Mimi, I'm first.
03:05Hey, Rue.
03:05In the now legendary lip-sync for your life.
03:08Oh, yes.
03:08When you threw India over your shoulders.
03:15What was going through your head at the time?
03:18Well, I have been doing it in my show for ten years.
03:20You know, I've probably picked up over a thousand people.
03:22I've never dropped anyone.
03:23It's just something I do.
03:24Like, some girls do splits or depth drops, and that's what I do.
03:27The stakes seem so high.
03:28It's not your lip-syncing for Mariah Carey's Glitter album.
03:30You know?
03:31You're lip-syncing for your life.
03:32And it feels like if you failed this, you know, you're going to reach out from behind
03:35your table, reach in your Prada purse, and pull out a gun, and that's the end.
03:38Well, thank God you didn't have a Prada purse.
03:40No.
03:41No.
03:41How did it feel?
03:42What was going through your head?
03:44Craziness.
03:45Like, it was just so out of the blue, like, unexpected.
03:47I was trying to perform, and she would just, like, move in front of me, and I said,
03:50okay, I want the judges to see me.
03:52The only way that y'all could see me was to go down to the judges, and in a split
03:54second,
03:54I was seeing the whole rest of the girls in the back of the thing, and I didn't know
03:58what was going on.
04:03I said, okay, I'm up on this bitch's shoulder.
04:06Like, what just happened?
04:07I understand.
04:08It was over the top, and it, you know, and people, there are people who thought it was
04:11the worst thing in the world.
04:12There are people who thought it was entertaining.
04:14Right.
04:14Well, I'm going to ask the other queens.
04:15Do you think it was entertaining, or was it over the line?
04:18In a show in New York, you know, that's okay.
04:21You know, it's fun.
04:22It's part of, but, you know, this is my chance.
04:26I can't say that.
04:26I probably wouldn't have bopped you, girl.
04:28Yeah, I think that also.
04:29Because there's no screaming, get me down, honey.
04:31I'm going to get myself down.
04:32And India, what would you have done differently?
04:35Actually, there was nothing that I could have done differently, because I think if I was
04:38anywhere else, she still would have done that.
04:40Me, as an entertainer, I was there performing for you all.
04:43Like, I paid no attention to her other than her blocking me, so I think she should have
04:46done the same, and she should have just gave it her all at that moment.
04:49I respect that, and I totally think if I was in your position, I would feel the same way.
04:53Just to be clear, I was never trying to sabotage you.
04:55Like, it was for me, it was like, what can I do to shake this up?
04:58What can I do to make it different?
04:59In Lip Sync for Your Life, there is a certain sort of fairness.
05:02You're up to perform, and if your focus is to just get in the way of the other girl,
05:08it's not really that professional.
05:11Isn't it a competition?
05:11You could have simply rolled some marbles out there and just called it an A.
05:15No, I...
05:16So, let's move on.
05:17Actually, I have a little gift for India.
05:19Oh.
05:20A little...
05:21Oh, goodness.
05:22Is it ticking?
05:22Does it have bullets in it?
05:24It's not ticking at all.
05:25Oh, Lord.
05:26I got India Fair this lovely shirt that says, I got picked up by Mimi I'm first, and all I
05:31got was this lousy T-shirt.
05:33All right, now India.
05:34Hi.
05:35Were you surprised when you sashayed away when you did?
05:38I thought my time was cut short.
05:40I think two of the challenges, I wasn't able to show who I was as a person or entertainer due
05:45to the duties that I was given from Carmen Carrera.
05:49And by the way, you did say duty.
05:50Oh, duty.
05:51Yeah.
05:51I'm sorry, duty.
05:52So, what do you mean?
05:53The workout challenge.
05:55Right.
05:56With the rubber band.
05:57We're going to lower it down, ladies.
05:59One.
06:00Two.
06:01Three.
06:02Four.
06:03So, the rubber thingamajiggy prevented us from seeing your real personality?
06:06Absolutely.
06:07Yeah.
06:08Like...
06:10Really?
06:11Yeah.
06:12Like, where could I go with a rubber thingamajiggy?
06:14Well, if you know, the other girl won the challenge with the thingamajiggy.
06:18Yeah.
06:18With the lip gloss.
06:19Yeah, that's very true.
06:20I just wasn't clever enough at that moment to pull out a thing of lip gloss or eat chicken.
06:25Now, I got to say, I'm hearing a lot of excuses right now.
06:29Well, that's what I do, Rue.
06:32I lay them out, card by card.
06:35So, had there been a challenge about excuses, you would have won.
06:38Well, like, every challenge after I got kicked off, I would have succeeded in.
06:43Like, I'm not even lying.
06:44Like, the cake challenge because I sew.
06:46Sew all my costumes and gowns and stuff.
06:48So, I would have definitely succeeded in that.
06:50You would have ate that.
06:50Yeah, I would have ate it.
06:52Well, that's the thing.
06:52That's the thing about this competition.
06:54Yeah.
06:54It's almost like a roll of the dice.
06:56Right.
06:56You've basically got to be a jack of all trades.
06:59Exactly.
07:00Mariah, a.k.a. Mariah Paris, a.k.a. Mariah Balenciaga, a.k.a. Mariah Successful.
07:09Now, before you came here, of course, you did balls and the ballroom scene down in Atlanta.
07:13Yes, I do balls.
07:15We've all done balls.
07:16Now, do you think being a ballroom queen and not being a nightclub girl put you at a disadvantage
07:22in the competition?
07:24Yeah, it did a little bit because I don't do it every week.
07:27The changing, the transition.
07:29I also don't have to learn the lyrics.
07:31Oh, you're talking about your lip sync now, aren't you?
07:33Well, yes.
07:34That was my disadvantage.
07:36Because you saw the lip sync.
07:38There wasn't a lot of lip syncing to the.
07:41No.
07:41But you.
07:42But she was serving.
07:42I will mug the shit out of you though.
07:44Yes.
07:45Baby.
07:46Mugs the days, girl.
07:47Okay.
07:47I will mug that shit out of you.
07:48But what do you do when you don't know the lyrics?
07:50You know what?
07:50I just study B.B. Zahara Benet.
07:53You move your lips enough and they'll think that you are turning it.
08:00What kind of fan mail have you gotten?
08:01I've gotten so many touching letters about people who were inspired by my confidence.
08:08They know drag queens.
08:09We go through a lot of adverse experiences in life and we still walk around with our heads held high.
08:15There was this one young girl.
08:16She went through a tragic experience and she felt the need to reach out and just tell me her story
08:21and get it out.
08:22Just the fact that me just being who I am impacted somebody.
08:25It was very touching.
08:26There's no words.
08:30These next two queens supersize our love of drag.
08:34Give it up for Miss Stacy Lane Matthews and Miss Delta Work.
08:40Pose.
08:41Work.
08:42Be a lady.
08:45In a year of firsts, this queen returned to take the competition by storm.
08:50Please welcome Shangela Laquifa Wadley.
08:54Ooh.
08:54Ciao.
08:55Hallelujah.
08:58Now when these two queens lip sync for their lives, neither one of them sashayed away.
09:03Please welcome back Carmen Carrera and Zahra Sofia.
09:07Esha Palante.
09:09Yo Jersey.
09:10Sickness.
09:12Well hey girls.
09:14Let's kiki.
09:15Stacy Lane Matthews.
09:17Hello.
09:18From Back Swamp, North Carolina.
09:20Now, how has doing Drag Race changed your life?
09:23Oh, I'm like the local Oprah Winfrey of Back Swamp now.
09:27Really?
09:28I go outside, you know, walk out my door and like my cousins are like, oh my god, hey.
09:32Hey girl.
09:33Oh my god, it's Stacy.
09:35I'm like, honey, it's still me, honey.
09:38Do you have any beef with any of the other queens?
09:42Um, when I first watched the show I was pretty upset with a lot of things a lot of people
09:45had to say.
09:46Especially Delta.
09:47I love her.
09:48But there was one point where you said I shouldn't have been in the competition from the beginning.
09:52I want to be here with people that I think are the fiercest in competition so that when
09:57I win, I can feel like I had a victory over people who were just as strong as me.
10:00And I don't think you're just as strong as me.
10:03You barely knew anything about me and those things, you know, really hurt when you said
10:06that.
10:06I apologize if they hurt.
10:08I really do.
10:09Did I read?
10:09Absolutely.
10:10Did I talk shit?
10:11Absolutely.
10:12But my intention wasn't to hurt someone's feelings.
10:14This is a sorority and a fraternity at the same time.
10:17Part of drag is sitting back and talking shit.
10:20Girl, you got that big ol' wig on again.
10:22But did I think I was more cut out for the competition from the outset?
10:25I did think so.
10:27Obviously I was wrong because you were winning before I was.
10:29Did you find out anything new about yourself that you didn't know?
10:33I did.
10:34I found out that maybe on some level I could have been more of a lady like Stacey.
10:38I mean, I could learn a lot from Stacey.
10:40Sometimes when I answer people's questions, it's probably better to tell them what they want
10:46to hear, not what I really think.
10:48Because honestly, at the end of the day, maybe the high road would have been to just say,
10:52yes, I think you look beautiful.
10:54Yes, I think you're my fiercest competition.
10:56Because the answer either way wouldn't have mattered and would have been easier to stomach.
11:00Was it a positive experience for you or a negative experience?
11:03There were negative aspects, but as a whole it was positive.
11:06I mean, I've been given so much that was never promised to me.
11:11Nothing was promised to me from this.
11:13And I've been able to travel.
11:15I mean, I'm 35 years old.
11:15I've never been to New York.
11:16I got to go to New York.
11:18And walk red carpets.
11:19And I've just been afforded so much.
11:21I'm so lucky.
11:22Stacey Lane, do you think you've forever changed from having done this show?
11:26Oh, Lord, yes, honey.
11:28I've even had marriage proposals from Africa.
11:30Oh.
11:31So I might have to take myself up on that offer.
11:33Cameroon.
11:35Shangela, you're back again.
11:37I can't seem to get rid of you.
11:38I'm back, Ru.
11:39I'm back.
11:40Now, how did it feel to be given a second chance?
11:42You know, I felt like I had a lot of pressure.
11:43I had a lot to prove.
11:44But I really feel like I belonged in this competition.
11:47I was thrilled to be back.
11:48Do you feel like you redeemed yourself?
11:50Well, hallelujah.
11:51I hope I did.
11:53Now, you seem to be one of the most strategic queens that have ever been on RuPaul's Drag Race.
11:59Well, thank you.
12:00Do you think it helped you or hurt you in the end?
12:03I mean, top five.
12:05I definitely feel like it helped me.
12:06Entertainment Weekly reports that you were just cast in a new TV show with Don Johnson.
12:10Tell me about that.
12:11I recently was cast in a pilot called A Man's World
12:13that's being directed and created and written by Michael Patrick King.
12:16I play a male hairstylist on the show.
12:17So I'm really excited about that.
12:18But I'm also excited about continuing Shangela.
12:20So I'm dual-pathing it, kind of like Beyonce and Sasha Fierce.
12:23Oh, okay.
12:23Indeed.
12:24Hey, Carmen.
12:25Hi, Ru.
12:27Did your stepdaughter watch the show?
12:28She did.
12:29What'd she think?
12:30Well, I mean, she's six years old, so she doesn't really get the whole competition.
12:34She wants me to put her in drag.
12:36She wants me to, you know, she's like, I want the same eyeshadow as Carmen and I want
12:39the same lipstick as Carmen.
12:40She'd ask my husband, like, why is Chris wearing makeup?
12:42And once you, you know, answer the question, it's just like, she's cool with it.
12:44You know, she's really smart, so.
12:46Yeah.
12:46Now, were you surprised when the judges brought you back?
12:49I was.
12:50I was really surprised and grateful more than anything.
12:53Now, in the music challenge, Shangela manipulated it so that you would get reggae.
12:59What do you think about that?
12:59I don't think so.
13:00Honestly, when it came down to it, I was not going to go with country.
13:04Period.
13:04But, Shangela, you did have a strategy.
13:06With us being the last two left, I didn't want reggae.
13:09So, my strategy was to make her feel like I wanted reggae.
13:12I set that up.
13:13Can I have that heel on the reggae?
13:15I love reggae music.
13:17Like, funk, funk, funk.
13:19I really like reggae, so I'm going to go with reggae.
13:22Okay.
13:26If there was a competitive spirit within her where she didn't want me to have what I wanted.
13:31Regardless of whatever Shangela was saying, I wasn't going to think in my mind,
13:34okay, well, she wants reggae, so I'm going to pick reggae so I can mess her up.
13:37You know what I mean?
13:38That's not the way I think.
13:39You know, competition or not, I don't purposely try to sabotage anyone.
13:42If it came down, let's say if it was me and, you know, if I was the top three, that's
13:45a different story.
13:46You know what I'm saying?
13:46Because it's already, you, fine.
13:48But how do you get to the top three without competing?
13:50No, but you don't have to throw people under the bus.
13:52You don't have to, you know, think like that.
13:54You can just be the best.
13:55You can just be the best, and then you can win.
13:57You don't have to say—
13:57Could you just push them in front of the subway train?
14:00No.
14:01Now, Chandra, it seems like you have a different point of view in terms of strategizing.
14:07Care to elaborate on that?
14:08Well, I think everyone has their own objective in this competition.
14:12I was here fighting to win because it meant a lot more than just a check.
14:15It meant security, it meant being able to provide for my family, and to pursue my dreams, because that's why
14:20I'm really here.
14:21Jara Sofia, echa palante.
14:23Yes.
14:24Are you feeling the echa palante down in Puerto Rico?
14:26Of course, Arlen.
14:28Yes, I do.
14:28You're still serving it up.
14:29Yes, Arlen.
14:30Very sad to see your elimination.
14:33I know.
14:33You gave up during the middle of the number.
14:39I'm crying because there's a lot of emotions.
14:43I was thinking too much.
14:45I'm so angry, and I'm so disappointed.
14:48During the competition, I was, like, holding in a lot of emotions.
14:53Challenge after challenge every week is so challenging.
14:56You know what I mean?
14:59I kind of disagree with Summer's judgment.
15:03The judge is, like, sometimes putting other ones on top of me, like, over.
15:09Like, oh, my God, I love you, the way you fart, the way you fall, the way you walk, the
15:16way you wear everything.
15:17And I was like, oh, okay, I don't think I agree.
15:20Do you know what I mean?
15:21Right.
15:21Who were they praising over you that made you feel that way?
15:25Well, it depends.
15:27Names, darling.
15:27I want names.
15:28Raja.
15:29She's a great makeup artist, and she could do a better job.
15:33If you choose this kind of drag, be the best.
15:37Do you feel that you could have gone a little bit further?
15:40Where is further?
15:41Could you have pushed more?
15:44Esche Pelante?
15:45Yeah, probably.
15:48But after you, the judges, asked us the question, like, why you deserve to be the next drag superstar and
15:57win 75 fucking dollars.
15:59A thousand.
16:00Yeah.
16:01It was a lot of pressure.
16:03Yeah.
16:03And probably another moment.
16:06It's a perfect point, because it does come down to how you react in that moment.
16:10Yes.
16:11And a lot of this competition emulates what real life is in show business.
16:15And sometimes it comes down to that moment where I cannot go on any further, but somewhere that energy's got
16:20to come.
16:21It's out of my hands.
16:22Yeah.
16:23I understand.
16:24I understand.
16:25All right.
16:26Let's see what the top three queens have to say when RuPaul's Drag Race Reunited continues.
16:34Are you ready for the final three?
16:38First, let's welcome a true pageant princess, honey.
16:44Alexis.
16:45Mateo.
16:49Sickening.
16:50The jig is up.
16:51Bam.
16:52Next, a multi-talented queen who's a real thriller.
16:58Manila Luzon.
17:00Amel DeMarcos.
17:02Big Bird.
17:03Give it.
17:07And now, the one queen who week after week had us gagging on her charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
17:16America's next drag superstar.
17:20The one, the only, Raja.
17:23Gonna love you, you're a superstar.
17:26Pose.
17:27Live.
17:28Ten, ten, ten.
17:30Gonna love you, you're a superstar.
17:40Alexis Mateo, honey.
17:43Tyru.
17:44Bam.
17:45Bam.
17:46Is your family proud how well you did?
17:48My family has been very supportive.
17:51My mom became one of my biggest fans.
17:53It actually helped me to understand my family point of view about the situation because I grew up in a
17:59very Catholic, Pentecostal family.
18:01Ooh, child.
18:02And now, yes, we have been mediating between what was the homosexuality and the whole drag experience in my family.
18:09But now they see me as an actor more than just a wannabe woman, that it was the point that
18:15I really wanted to put across in my family.
18:17Yeah.
18:18Now, this was your third audition for the show.
18:21Yes.
18:21How do you think it would have turned out had you been chosen the first go-round?
18:25Oh, child.
18:26If I was chosen the first season or the second one, I probably went home the first two episodes.
18:30Really?
18:31And then come back on the third one.
18:32Exactly.
18:33I would come back and the third one in a box.
18:37What would you say to queens who've auditioned in previous seasons, like yourself, and didn't get chosen?
18:44Keep trying.
18:44When the fire is there and when you wake up in the morning and that's what you want to do,
18:48go for it.
18:48Never give up.
18:50Now, in the Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Style Challenge, you revealed you had a relationship with an active-duty
18:56Marine.
18:57Papi, I want you to come back home, baby.
19:00Have you heard from him since the show's aired?
19:03Not at all, Ru.
19:04And I wish him the best.
19:06I already closed that chapter in my life.
19:08What would you say if I told you we have him backstage right now?
19:13In drag.
19:15In drag.
19:15Can you bring him out now?
19:19In drag.
19:19Please.
19:20We are not that kind of show.
19:22We can't afford the airfare.
19:23But we could afford a DNA result.
19:26And the result is...
19:28Manila Luzon.
19:30Hi, Ru.
19:30Hey, girl.
19:31Hey.
19:32We're all friends.
19:33Now, let's get into the real story here that's been on everybody's mind.
19:38Your characterizations of Asian-Americans, or just Asians in general, came under a lot of heat.
19:44Have you heard from groups or people who say you were wrong or you were right?
19:48When the episode of the News Challenge aired...
19:52Clarison!
19:53Taras!
19:54What's next?
19:55I got a lot of negative feedback saying people thought I was offensive.
19:58But they were always, like, not Asian.
20:00Comment after comment left on my Facebook page.
20:03I'm Asian.
20:04I didn't find that offensive.
20:05I thought it was hilarious.
20:06It's also the whole thing of humor.
20:08If it's not kind of...
20:09Doesn't push any buttons, it's not funny.
20:11There are a lot of emotions for you on this show.
20:14Your father, did he get to see the show?
20:16After I got back home, I called him up.
20:19I sent him a letter.
20:21And he wrote me back and he said,
20:23Okay, I understand.
20:24This is what you're doing.
20:25But it's still a little strange for me.
20:27So it's just like an open discussion that I'm just trying to keep, like,
20:30let him, like, marinate in a while.
20:33Did your mother watch the show?
20:34My mom watches the show.
20:36And she's always calling me back like,
20:37Oh my God, Carmen's so pretty.
20:39I'm like, Mom, what about me?
20:43And Miss Raja, how does it feel to be America's next drag superstar?
20:48Surreal.
20:50Surreal.
20:50Surreal.
20:50Abstract.
20:52Sometimes invasive a little bit.
20:53Because there's a lot of haters out there, which is kind of a new thing for me.
20:56Now, your win is actually very controversial.
21:01And, you know, some people saw you as the fiercest thing ever to walk a runway.
21:05And other critics have said, you're just a man in a dress.
21:09You mean her?
21:09Well, actually that was Alexis Mateo's quote.
21:14What?
21:14If it were said to me ten years ago and I was at a different place in my head and
21:18in my life, I would have been completely offended.
21:20And I would have told everyone to fuck off.
21:22But, you know, now I'm in my early thirties.
21:26Fine.
21:27Mid.
21:27Mid thirties.
21:28And you know what?
21:29I've just come to a place in my life that I don't really mind embracing the fact that there's a
21:33masculine and a feminine.
21:34And why not join the two together and morph it into one amazing creature?
21:37Right?
21:37Work for Bea Arthur.
21:39Absolutely.
21:41Now, you kids all have Twitter and Facebook and all that.
21:44Do you read the comments from the people out there?
21:47Um, I do and I don't.
21:49On Twitter, you're only allowed a certain amount of characters to cuss someone out.
21:52And on Facebook, it takes a little bit more effort because you have to like the bitch first and then
21:56leave her a mean comment.
21:57Right.
21:57Well, a lot of people have said that Raja was too experienced for the competition.
22:02Do you feel that way?
22:03As far as me being seasoned, yes, I am seasoned.
22:05And yes, I have been doing it a long time.
22:07And yes, people do know who I am.
22:09But there was nothing said that America's next drag superstar should be a beginner who's never been known or seen.
22:16Or maybe she could have been.
22:17She could have been.
22:18You know, there's still a long line and legacy of RuPaul's Drag Race still yet to happen, I hope.
22:22And I think there's a lot of room for different styles, different points of view in drag and how we
22:27perceive our own personal art.
22:29I think there's still tons of room for that.
22:35Now, I want to talk about something that was touched on earlier.
22:38Delta said that we were like a sorority and a fraternity mixed together.
22:42And there's a lot of comments that sometimes backstage we are harsh with one another.
22:47But the truth is, if we were in a locker room, some of the things that wives would hear from
22:52men, and we are men, could be harsh too.
22:55We call it what's the tea, the tea being the truth.
22:58I want to open the floor about that.
23:01Now, Raja, you came under a lot of criticism because you could be seen as harsh with your backstage speak.
23:07It was like watching a sports event.
23:08You know, no one wants to go to the soccer game and, like, hope that the two teams love each
23:11other.
23:12Oh, my God. I hope he gives the ball to that guy.
23:15Oh, my God. I hope he makes the goal.
23:17Nobody does that.
23:18There's a battle that happens.
23:19Reading is fundamental.
23:20And I think it's definitely part of drag culture and it's fun and it's our way of, like, you know,
23:24straight guys come up to each other and they punch each other on their shoulder.
23:27That's what we're doing.
23:28To me, I think it's a way of sharpening your wit and getting quicker and thinking quicker and you have
23:33to be on your game.
23:34And it's like practicing before a baseball game.
23:37You have to throw that ball hard and you have to do it quick and you have to catch it
23:40hard and throw it right back.
23:42Chancela, do you agree?
23:43Some of the things that I saw throughout the season, just, they didn't sit well with me.
23:49And I hate to keep even giving it attention, but this whole Heather's Boogers thing, that's ridiculous.
23:54But if you want to put someone down to build yourself up, then, you know, that's what you have to
23:58do for yourself.
23:59I mean, if this is the face of Booger, I think it's sickening.
24:02So, ta-da.
24:03Hell, minus the lawsuits and the prostitutes and the drugs and the tiger blood, I'm the Charlie Sheen of drag.
24:08Duh, winning.
24:09Alexis, did you feel put down by being called a Booger?
24:11No.
24:12I think it was stupid as hell.
24:13It was hilarious to listen to a person believing on that, to make herself feel better.
24:19Honestly, because I heard it like three times today, you guys are saying, oh, well, we're calling you Boogers so
24:24that we can feel better about ourselves.
24:25I don't think that's what it was at all.
24:26But why did you call us a Booger?
24:28Because it's not shady.
24:29It's funny.
24:30To you.
24:32But if you take it that personal, that's your insecurity.
24:35No, baby, it's not insecurity.
24:37It's clocking it how it is.
24:38Let's get it real.
24:39If you want to bring it, let's do it.
24:41Who else didn't think that Heathers versus Boogers was funny or tongue-in-cheek?
24:48When I first started drag, I was a Booger down.
24:51You know, I was a Booger for years.
24:53Explain what that is.
24:54Well, a Booger is just a term that, in drag, of just being like a busted, like, unpolished mess.
24:59When you call us Boogers, you're calling us not polished.
25:02A mess.
25:03A mess.
25:04A beginner.
25:05I think what's happening here is that people are taking everything so damn literal.
25:10It wasn't a reference point of, you look physically like a Booger.
25:14It was a state of mind.
25:16And the fact was that we're grown men.
25:19We know our names aren't Heather, even though they're right here on our necks.
25:22We know that that's not the case.
25:24And we kept doing it over and over because it was the audacity of that.
25:28The audacity that this farty Mexican man up here in a blonde wig is really Heather.
25:32Why did you call this particular group of girls Boogers?
25:36Because it's extreme.
25:37It's funny.
25:38It's exaggerated.
25:38As much of what drag is.
25:40It's not that we were being, you know, literal and we're not really putting it down.
25:44It was just like, at some point the whole idea of Heathers and Boogers just kind of dissipated for me.
25:47And Heathers just meant my three little friends that I felt safe around.
25:51Who would you consider the queen of the Boogers?
25:53Personally, I had my biggest frustrations with Shangela.
25:56So in my mind, I think it would be Shangela because that was my, like...
25:59Nemesis.
26:00My nemesis at the time.
26:01Now, Stacey, when I asked you who was offended by the word Booger, you raised your hand.
26:05What's going on?
26:06Just listening to the comments, I just felt like it was a little bit different than what I saw in
26:11person.
26:12Because I felt this nice, kind people in front of me.
26:14And then to watch it behind the scenes and to see what people really thought about me.
26:19It was very difficult for me and it took a toll on me.
26:21What specifically?
26:22I want to know, what specifically?
26:24Who offended you the most?
26:26Raja, basically.
26:26You know, just saying that I shouldn't be here anyway.
26:28I shouldn't be here at all.
26:29The whole bullfrog thing, it bothered me so much.
26:32Looking at the episodes, I'm like...
26:35Some of the things I said were quite harsh, you know?
26:37And I was just kind of blurting them out and just being a badass about it.
26:39But I don't think I really meant it to hurt anyone's feelings.
26:41The Heathers and the Boogers thing was all meant to be fun and light.
26:44And it still should be sort of that, but it really shouldn't be taken literal.
26:47And if I could actually just sort of just squash it, not really perpetuate it any further.
26:51I mean, I feel like Stacy was probably the most vulnerable out of the group.
26:54And apparently, the things that were said have really hurt her.
26:57And if I could just sort of reach out to you, and I don't know if it means anything to
27:00you at all.
27:01But I would like to present you with my Heathers necklace, which really means a lot to me.
27:05And I just want you to have this, so...
27:07Yay, I'm a Heather!
27:12That's very nice. That's very nice.
27:15I tell you what, from this moment on, there will be no more Heathers, there will be no more Boogers.
27:20We will all be referred to as Hoogers.
27:24Queens, get your questions ready for Michelle Visage as RuPaul's Drag Race Reunited continues.
27:33Now, this season, my best girlfriend, Michelle Visage, joined the judges panel.
27:39And the main stage will never be the same.
27:41Hey, Michelle.
27:42Hey, baby.
27:44Now, this season, you had a chance to bring back one of the eliminated queens, and you chose Miss Carmen
27:51Carrera.
27:52I did.
27:53Now, let me ask what's on America's mind. Why?
27:57Look at her! No, really?
27:59Is it because you're from New Jersey?
28:00Yes, that's exactly why, Ru.
28:04Rep in the Garden State.
28:06No, Billy Santino and I felt that Delta came up, Mariah came up.
28:11We were all back and forth trying to figure out who to bring back, and in the end, we all
28:15agreed unanimously
28:17that Carmen was fresh on the mind, fresh on the lips, and we knew that she had more tricks up
28:22her sleeve, or so we thought.
28:23Now, Alexis, you almost left the competition because of comments that you felt Michelle made about you.
28:30Yeah. I think you're a bitch, Michelle.
28:34It's frustrating because we're dealing with so much pressure, and like, I mean, you think you're killing the hip-hop
28:40moment.
28:40You are a little Kim down, and she goes, she brings you back in 120 degrees.
28:44She's like, you're not giving me hip-hop, you're Hannah Montana.
28:47A hooker version of Hannah Montana.
28:49This is like Hannah Montana does hip-hop.
28:52Hannah Montana?
28:53Yeah.
28:53And I'm like, really, bitch?
28:55But one asks, okay?
28:58Would you rather me sit there and go, oh, honey, you're fabulous?
29:01Like, I'm going to say it, and I'm going to say it one time.
29:04Okay.
29:04It's so easy to talk about a drag queen, but it's so difficult to be one.
29:10Oh, honey, I know.
29:11It's amazing.
29:12It's amazing.
29:13I mean, for me, drag is a female illusion, and to make comments about a plate that I just bought
29:19that actually helped me reach the point of female illusion, it's stupid because you bought
29:24your titties too.
29:25Yes, I did.
29:25Absolutely.
29:27It's completely pointless because that's what we are.
29:31And then to see that I'm getting picked in that little detail where Raja doesn't even
29:35wear titties, it's weird.
29:36She's too nice.
29:37She's got stuff going on.
29:39Yeah, it's complicated.
29:41Okay, now let me explain where I was coming from so you understand.
29:43I think you are an amazingly talented queen.
29:45I think you're gorgeous.
29:47With all of you, my job was to help you get to the next level.
29:51Tonight, your body looks perfect to me.
29:53Like, I would have no critique of this, Alexis.
29:56I know I have my issues and I try to dress accordingly so I kind of hide those flaws.
30:00Why would you do something that makes you 30 pounds heavier looking when you don't need
30:04to?
30:04That was my only issue.
30:05I'm just here to be as real as I can be minus my boobs.
30:09And you want to rock a breastplate, that's fine.
30:11I grew up in New York City where drag queens don't do that.
30:14So I do get your pageant drag.
30:16I get it.
30:16I don't get anybody's drags.
30:18I know regional drags are different.
30:19But I just wanted to see things switched up every now and then.
30:23Tonight, you don't have it and you look beautiful.
30:25But I do wear, I'm wearing titties.
30:26That's fine.
30:27That's different.
30:28I love my titties and I work it out all the time.
30:30And you should.
30:30Bam.
30:31Yes.
30:31Bam.
30:32I'm wearing a body pad.
30:35Now this is an opportunity for all the girls.
30:37If you have something to say to Michelle Visage, now is your time.
30:41I thought you were mean.
30:42That eyebrow just kind of goes up and those cheekbones are all up here.
30:46And when God painted the Michelle doll, she painted her fiercely.
30:49So I just think you have that look on your face.
30:51I was always the girl at the club where somebody would come up and say, why you look like that?
30:55Why don't you smile?
30:55And I'd be like, why don't you get away?
30:57Actually, I just wanted to commend her.
30:59I did enjoy the consistent judging and it seemed like she wasn't temperamental.
31:04And then I really did get a good vibe.
31:06There's a term called Stone Cold Carter in the ballroom scene.
31:09And it's for those, the mugs that don't smile.
31:11Uh-huh.
31:12The judges who don't give any.
31:14Well, her.
31:14Uh-huh.
31:15Not every judge had mugs.
31:17Well, Michelle Visage is from the ballroom scene.
31:19Yes, she is.
31:20And I definitely related to her.
31:21All right.
31:22Now, RuPaul's Drag Race fans are the best fans in the whole worldwide net.
31:28So here's some questions that you've she-mailed, tweeted, or posted on our Face Face Facebook fan page.
31:36The first question is from David in New Hampshire, and it is for Mimi I'm First.
31:42Why do you always look so scared?
31:47I don't know.
31:49Do I look so scared all the time?
31:51She's painted that way.
31:52I'm surprised.
31:53I think it probably relates back to her during the competition.
31:55I think I definitely had a lot of insecurities.
31:57Did the competition scare you?
31:59I, I scared my, I think I scared myself more than anything.
32:02I, I, I got lost in my own world of, of not trusting that I have good ideas.
32:08And I let it be my demise.
32:11All right.
32:12This next question is for India Farah from Anonymous in Northwest Indiana.
32:18It says, I'm a 13-year-old aspiring drag queen.
32:21What is your biggest piece of advice you could give?
32:24Oh, wow.
32:25Um.
32:25You started at 12.
32:26Yes, I started at the age of 12.
32:28So basically you were the Miley Cyrus of drag.
32:32Absolutely.
32:33Luckily my brother is gay as well, so it was kind of easier.
32:35And with my family being so supportive, that was really easy for me to do it.
32:39So try to feel comfortable in your own skin.
32:42Don't pay attention to like the negative, like comments, the bullshit.
32:46Let it go in one ear and out the other.
32:47All right.
32:48Next, we have a question for Shangela.
32:51It's from Kayla G.
32:53Who wants to know, while watching the show, did you ever get sick of hearing yourself say hallelujah?
33:00Um, actually no, because I like to say I live in the loo.
33:04Because hallelujah is more than just a word to me.
33:06It's kind of the way that I live.
33:07If it's joy, it's an attitude.
33:08It's happy, it's an attitude.
33:09It's a way of life.
33:10It's a way of life.
33:10To me, hallelujah.
33:11Okay, right on, right on.
33:13Joseph G. in Los Angeles asked, Carmen, have you seen J-Lo since the taping?
33:20So I've been around Jennifer Lopez in person.
33:22I mean movie sets, concerts, like I went to her birthday party impersonating her.
33:27Like Mark asked me to come, whatever.
33:29No.
33:30Mm-mm.
33:30I usually get to see her when she's like on tour or when she's doing like a movie.
33:34If she's filming a movie, it's like, I can be with her for like a week because she's
33:37at the same location.
33:38Like, you know what I mean?
33:39But I haven't seen her.
33:40I'll see you soon, Jennifer.
33:42We're going to do a video together and we'll put it out there and post it on Facebook to
33:45clear all the rumors.
33:47Of course.
33:47All right.
33:48Now the next question is for Raja and it is from Tommy in Salt Lake.
33:54Have you heard from Tyra Banks since your parody of her on the Snatch Game?
34:00Girl, I saw you smiling with your eyes.
34:02What do they call that?
34:03Smizing.
34:05Tyra, is there anything going on that you want to tell us about?
34:08What?
34:08Are you smizing too hard?
34:10I think I smize so hard my eyes bled, girl.
34:11Oh, my goodness.
34:14Uh-uh.
34:16Nope.
34:16Haven't heard from her at all.
34:17But you know, I do hear from Miss J all the time.
34:20Like, wah, bitch, you fucking crazy, blah, blah, blah.
34:22Just all through text.
34:23Tyra did tweet me, but that was when the season first started.
34:26Oh, okay.
34:27When the season, she hadn't seen me do her parody yet.
34:30Hope she has a sense of humor.
34:31She does.
34:32I know Tyra well enough, even though we're not the bestest friends by any means, but I do
34:36know her well enough that she would have a great sense of humor about it.
34:38You know, she's funny.
34:39She's crazy.
34:40Just like that.
34:40She's a big ol' drag queen.
34:42So, she gets it.
34:44I hope.
34:47Now, Tyra, I do have a question for you.
