11:07now to help you get into character i'll let you fight over who gets which karen
11:12then later today you'll be shooting your viral videos with a pop culture expert who has a phd

15:46framing it in a way for your personality to come out which leads me to this improv bit here do

15:57for an answer okay they want something yeah and they're not getting it that is key right there you
16:04have to determine what your want is in this and you really want to get those sound bites like ain't

16:15person after that helps i mean when i think of karen i always think of my sister rossi she would
16:19be
16:20late to picking me up but she would be mad at me she would always manipulate things in a way

16:25she would wind up on top you see what the tactic there the psychological tactic so how are you
16:30going to make your karen funnier than what's on the paper i think there's something fun about watching
16:36somebody who's used to being in charge just be told no the more fleshed out the character is the
16:41easier we can rely on what how they would react in these moments use your imagination to frame it
16:47a situation that can create more i think some good advice that i got from you is that to just
16:52really
16:53lean into the absurdity and to like really let that fear of like it not going well kind of like
16:59just get in the back seat yeah lean into the absurdity with the roast you just let it all hang

33:55which is like this really famous crazy cuban lady and i channeled a bit of my mom she's not a

34:00but she'll pop off oh god so i was just channeling that i was channeling like all the times i've

34:04my aunties fight or you know argue and like the hand motions and all that honestly having rue as a

34:10partner was fun she called me a whore um she said that i looked like a prostitute easy that was

44:54that really brought that character to life you understood what a karen was i just think you ran out of
45:00steam it felt like it became the same thing over and over you have to keep it moving to keep

45:05comedy moving yeah i feel like i had a lot of energy came in really hot yeah and didn't have
45:11as many
45:11levels in there yeah now in the runway i was like yes ma'am and looking at this outfit makes

46:51tried everything she could think of and it never felt forced all right jane don't she has set the
46:56bar so high for herself she tried to control it too much is the best way i can say it
47:02and that's where
47:03we can get lost when we're not so much in the moment i think she was trying to script it
47:06more than
47:07just letting it letting it flow so if you threw something at her rue she didn't take it she didn't
47:12take the bait and that happened a few times no i don't think so see what you gotta understand what
