02:37So tonight, it is WrestleMania season.
02:39WrestleMania is here night one.
02:41This episode is part one of a two-part series with my predictions for WrestleMania.
02:46We are going to kick things off right away.
02:48opening night, and look, we're not going to go in the order that we think the matches
02:51are going to come out on the show.
02:52That would be kind of insane to even trying to predict that at this point.
02:55We're going to go in the order that, let's see, we'll use Wikipedia.
02:59Well, why don't we use that?
03:00We'll use Wikipedia and see what order, match order they have, and we'll go down through
03:03it that way.
03:04Match number one, The Vision.
03:06Logan Paul and Austin Theory teaming with iShowSpeed, along with Paul Heyman, taking
03:10on The Usos, Jimmy and Jay, as well as LA Knight.
03:14Now look, here's the thing.
03:15When it comes to celebrity involvement, typically in a WWE match, you're expecting the celebrity
03:19to go over.
03:20The thing with Jelly Roll last SummerSlam was a little bit of an anomaly, but that was
03:24because he wanted to be, he wanted to lose that match.
03:28So when you look at this situation, I look at iShowSpeed, especially coming out of what
03:31he did at the Royal Rumble a couple years ago with, when you're looking at what he did
03:35with Braun Breaker, I look at iShowSpeed being in the match to take the fall.
03:39That would be the easy prediction.
03:41However, I think there's something to the Jay Uso character shift that we saw the day
03:46that he was shouting at Roman Reigns about going after CM Punk.
03:49He seemed more serious, much more of a critical character in a storyline than just a side player
03:57as a tag team wrestler.
03:58And I get it.
03:59He was a main event wrestler for a year, won the World Championship and all that.
04:01I just feel like they have to take the loss here to give Jay the motivation to push through
04:06to get to that next level of what eventually will, I believe, become a heel turn.
04:11I think that something happens in this match where it looks like iShowSpeed is taking the fall
04:16and it ends up being L.A. Knight who takes the fall.
04:19Now, I don't want that as a fan because I want L.A. Knight in a more prominent position,
04:23but I think that's what they're going to do so they can protect iShowSpeed so that every time
04:27he shows up in WWE programming, you don't automatically think the guy's going to get squashed.
04:30I think this will be a situation where iShowSpeed looks like he's going to lose,
04:34L.A. Knight takes the fall, and the Vision and iShowSpeed are going to come out with the winners.
04:38That is our official prediction for that match.
04:40For match two, Jacob Fatu versus Drew McIntyre.
04:43I mean, look, I think they've done a great job of heating this matchup.
04:46They've had constant conflict back and forth.
04:48SmackDown has been like these two's playground for brutalizing each other,
04:52especially McIntyre attacking Jacob Fatu.
04:54I love everything they've done here.
04:56Now, if I've got to pick a winner, I think that Jacob Fatu is at that point where he has
05:01to get
05:01some major win at some point other than that brief United States Championship run.
05:07He really hasn't done enough to be featured as what they were calling him a year ago,
05:11a future WWE WrestleMania main eventer.
05:14If you want him to be a main eventer, he's got to pick up some big wins.
05:16At the same time, Drew McIntyre, debatably the best performer in the company right now
05:21over the last several years, starting with that CM Punk feud and continuing onward,
05:25where he's able to do anything they ask him to do.
05:27And I feel like he just had that short championship run, but it wasn't long enough.
05:31Do you give him one here to make up for having to give up the championship so quickly?
05:35I'm not sure.
05:36This is a really difficult one to call.
05:38And look, I'm not even going to look up the Vegas odds for this,
05:40because I don't want to see what Vegas has to say, because a lot of times that's a spoiler anyways.
05:44I'm going to go with this.
05:45I'm going to go with my gut, even though I don't necessarily think it's the right move,
05:48because I think he has more time in the business than the other.
05:50I'm going to go with Jacob Fatu picks up the win to start that push towards the main event
05:55that he is projected to someday be.
05:57I think there's real money in a Jacob Fatu-Bronbreaker program further down the line
06:02as a WrestleMania main event, and you've got to start doing things like this
06:05to be able to get him to that level.
06:07In the Women's World Championship match, Stephanie Vacura defending against Liv Morgan.
06:12And I hate to say this, because I think Vacura is an incredible talent.
06:15I think she's done everything you could possibly ask a champion to do
06:17over the last however many days she's had that championship belt,
06:20close to a year at this point.
06:21But at the same time, it still feels like she's a transitional champion.
06:26Like, they didn't really seem to sink their teeth into what she could do
06:29and push her the way you would think they would push a world champion.
06:32And maybe part of that is a good chunk of the year,
06:34she was kind of in the shadow, in a lot of ways, of Rhea Ripley,
06:37who's a much bigger star.
06:38In the shadow of some of the other female talents who just have a better stage presence.
06:42Maybe it's a language thing, something.
06:44I don't know.
06:45But I think this is the right time to change the championship.
06:47I think Liv Morgan, the prediction is Liv Morgan,
06:50walks out of WrestleMania as the new women's world champion.
06:53For the women's intercontinental championship, AJ Lee taking on Becky Lynch.
06:58And this is going to be spoilers for a future match,
07:01but it's necessary so that we understand where I'm going with this.
07:04I think that AJ Lee coming back was a wonderful thing,
07:07but I don't think she's been used enough or as effectively
07:10as some people would like her to have been used.
07:12The Becky Lynch stuff is great, but we need to move past that at this point.
07:15So AJ Lee being the intercontinental champion makes a lot of sense.
07:19I do think Becky Lynch would do well to win that championship back.
07:22However, I also think Becky Lynch needs to be in the women's world championship picture.
07:27I would love to see her and Rhea go down.
07:29I'd love to see her and people like Jade Cargill get into it.
07:33So we have to wait and see how that's going to pan out over time.
07:35But again, almost like a Jacob Fatu thing,
07:37you have to start pushing Becky Lynch again.
07:40AJ Lee, you could put her into the world championship scene,
07:42but she doesn't really need that at this stage of her career.
07:44But what I think is very valuable and based on the news
07:47and reporting on our show yesterday with the impending return of Paige,
07:52a.k.a. Soraya from AEW coming back to WWE,
07:56word is she signed a contract, she's at Mania going through rehearsals.
08:00I think the initial conversation was that she is replacing Nikki Bella
08:04in the Fatal 4-Way for the Women's Tag Team Championship.
08:07However, Nikki Bella has vehemently refuted that claim,
08:11saying she is medically cleared, she will be at Mania,
08:13she will be in the match.
08:14And I can't honestly see how you would book something with Brie Bella
08:19and Paige anyways.
08:21They don't have a history of being friendly with one another on camera.
08:24Why would she come to her aid?
08:26She has nothing to do with her, whereas it's very different
08:29when it comes to AJ Lee.
08:31There is a ton of history there.
08:32Could Paige come out during the AJ Lee-Becky Lynch match
08:36and cost one of them the championship?
08:38Now, does she cost Becky Lynch?
08:40Because she's helping her friend AJ Lee?
08:42Very easily could, certainly if Becky does something shady,
08:44which, let's be honest, she's not above doing.
08:47And that opens the doorway to Paige versus Becky Lynch,
08:49something we probably would love to see in 2026.
08:53However, there's also a possibility she can come out
08:55and everybody pops and goes crazy and she's there to help AJ Lee
08:58and instead turns on AJ Lee and helps Becky Lynch.
09:01Becky Lynch playing the character who's always a step ahead,
09:04smarter, sleuthier.
09:06So that could be a way to play it up
09:08and then that leads back into a throwback to AJ Lee versus Paige
09:11from way back in the day,
09:13which I also don't think anybody would have a problem with.
09:15So who do I pick in this?
09:16Who do I go with?
09:17I'm going with Becky Lynch winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship
09:21even though I would not do that
09:22because I think she needs to be in the world title picture.
09:24But I'm going to go with her winning.
09:27However, I don't think Paige is going to turn on AJ Lee.
09:30I think they would be far more formidable.
09:32And I think, especially when you have people like the Bellas out there,
09:35how great would it be to have AJ Lee and Paige versus the Bellas eventually
09:40in a Women's Tag Team Championship match?
09:43How cool would that be?
09:44And here's why I say that
09:45because after I'm picking Becky Lynch to win the Intercontinental Championship,
09:49I'm predicting that Nikki and Brie Bella will perform together
09:52and that Nikki and Brie Bella will win the Wins Tag Team Championship,
09:56the belts that were essentially created for them that they never got.
09:58This is the time to give it to them.
10:00And at SummerSlam, after losing the Intercontinental Championship,
10:03I'd love to see them defend against AJ Lee and Paige.
10:06How amazing would that be?
10:07So that's my prediction.
10:08I'm going in the Irresistible Forces versus Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss
10:11versus Bayley and Lyra Valkyria versus the Bella Twins.
10:15My prediction for the Women's Tag Team Championship
10:16is that Nikki and Brie Bella walk out as the new champions.
10:20Next match is Seth Rollins versus Gunther.
10:22This one, look, I love the pairing
10:25for what the storyline's been saying for the last several months,
10:27but I understand why we're doing it with all the injuries and things of that nature.
10:30So it's going to be hard-hitting.
10:32It's going to be an incredible match.
10:33Where do you go from here?
10:34Where does Gunther go?
10:35I think Gunther, the teasing he did with Paul Heyman
10:38when he attacked Seth Rollins is to lead up to a match with Brock.
10:42I think Seth Rollins needs to stay strong to have his view with Braun Breaker,
10:46but that's kind of cooled a little bit because Breaker has been out with injury
10:49and he's been messing with the other members of the division.
10:51So follow me on this.
10:53I believe that Gunther wins, but not clean.
10:55Gunther's going to win because Braun Breaker is going to return
10:58and attack Seth Rollins to reheat up that feud
11:00because he's been gone for so long.
11:02It will hurt Rollins less than it would hurt Gunther
11:05heading into a match at SummerSlam with Brock.
11:07So my prediction is Gunther defeats Seth Rollins.
11:10And in the main event of night one,
11:12Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton with Pat McAfee
11:15for the WWE Undisputed Championship
11:18if Randy Orton loses,
11:20Pat McAfee will leave the professional wrestling industry permanently.
11:23And here's the deal.
11:24We already know that's not the plan.
11:26At least that's what the rumor is.
11:27The rumor is it's going to be Cody Rhodes and Jelly Roll
11:29versus Randy Orton and Pat McAfee
11:31at the next pay-per-view backlash.
11:33So if that's the case,
11:35then Randy Orton has to walk out of here with the championship.
11:38But does that make a lot of sense
11:39when Cody just got the belt back?
11:41Well, it does if you're Ari Emanuel
11:43and you're trying to maximize profitability of ticket sales
11:47and you want to have the tag team match
11:49and have these celebrities involved
11:50because he thinks that's the way to get the best ratings.
11:53So I'm going to go with Ari Emanuel
11:55because he seems to get his way all the time lately.
11:57So I'm going with Randy Orton
11:58to defeat Cody Rhodes
12:00and become a 15-time WWE Heavyweight Champion
12:03and closing out night one of WrestleMania.
12:05That's all the time we have for this episode.
