00:53Yeah, I mean, he knows his go time as far as the championship was,
00:56and, you know, unlike the other races, this is a Triple Crown.
00:59This is essentially a main event, a short main event,
01:02so you're going to see a lot of these guys
01:03as Cole Davies tries to go up the inside of Seth makes that pass there.
01:07You're going to see these guys within his intensity early.
01:09Oh, fantastic pass right there by Cole Davies just up the inside.
01:13He does a different combination on the rhythm lane,
01:16and like James just told you guys,
01:17the intensity level on these Triple Crowns are through the roof.
01:20It's basically like three heat races,
01:23and all these guys had the endurance to bring the action the whole time.
01:27It is refreshing to see Nate Thrasher find some momentum coming off,
01:31as Ricky alluded to, his best result of the season last week with second,
01:35and he was frustrated by that second place.
01:37As Seth Heimaker, you're watching on Bike 10,
01:40the Kawasaki, the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki machine,
01:43trying to stay with the championship leader.
01:46Yeah, it's going to be tough.
01:48Cole's had some speed over these guys all day long
01:50as he's starting to close in on his teammate,
01:52and it's kind of the same thing that happened last weekend with Seth.
01:54Once Cole got around him,
01:56he started making a few mistakes easier to happen,
01:58but he's got to lay it all out there.
02:01I'm thinking of Nate Thrasher,
02:02our leader right now for that Monster Energy star racing Yamaha at number 25,
02:06and he's a free agent.
02:08So a lot on the line,
02:10not only just to get that win and what it does for you mentally,
02:12but, man, this is going to help his stock option for sure.
02:18The teammates, they're used to doing this at the Goat Farm,
02:22at the training facility, JT,
02:24so this looks rather familiar,
02:26but Davies will not like being behind one of his teammates.
02:30Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how he approaches it.
02:32There's certainly no strangers to each other,
02:34but Nate Thrasher understands the situation.
02:37With Joe Shimoda, the reigning SMX 250 World,
02:40he had been exiting this series,
02:41that presents opportunity from here on out.
02:44Just like Ricky mentioned, he's in a contract year.
02:47He felt like nothing less than a podium was acceptable the rest of the way,
02:51and he's certainly on his way so far.
02:54This is a guy that, in my opinion, James,
02:56that has some potential,
02:57maybe get on a different program,
03:00even if he ends up not staying on the team he's at now,
03:04sometimes that potential,
03:05you can work with it,
03:07and it gives you a lot of options.

03:09Nate has that talent,
03:11just like all these other guys.
03:12So right now he's got his hands full with his teammate right now,

03:17who has some great pace.

05:14and the reason that we say that
05:15is because if you're able
05:16to have two good first races,
05:19you can kind of set the tone
05:20for the third one.
05:21You're not in a do-or-die situation,
05:23so very important
05:24for the guys like Nate
05:25Thrasher and Hamaker
05:26to have a good first
05:28and second race.

07:25the corners are a little bit
07:26different this weekend
07:27than they have been
07:28basically all season long,
07:30not kind of traditional.
07:31They're big, sandy, loose corners
07:33where a lot of times
07:34at Supercross,
07:35there's a bunch of runs.
07:37If you watch Supercross,
07:37you know what we're talking about.
07:39We'll throw a demonstration,
07:40but you can see
07:40their big, powdery burbs
07:42makes it very difficult
07:44to pass
07:45when everyone's taking
07:46the same line
07:47and there's not a lot
07:48of runs in the corners.
07:49So the man leading the race
07:50and second
07:51in the championship points,
07:52how does he feel
07:53about this format
07:54of Triple Crown racing?
07:58Yeah, Triple Crown
07:59always brings out some chaos,
08:00but my plan is to
08:01get off to some good starts,
08:04ride mountain race,
08:05stay out of the chaos
08:05and just kind of
08:07try and worry about myself.
08:08I'm sure the track's
08:08going to be a challenge
08:10in itself
08:10and I'm going to have
08:11to be laser focused.
08:13So yeah,
08:14that's kind of my plan
08:16going into it.
08:16but stay consistent
08:17and hopefully get
08:18the overall win.

09:34This is very, very unusual

09:40of the 250 East Division Championship.
09:43We saw him go down
09:44in the main event
09:45and have to work his way back.
09:46He ended up finishing fifth.
09:48It was a tremendous comeback.
09:49Ever since then,
09:50the guy hasn't finished
09:50worse than second.
09:52So that's why we're
09:52a little shocked
09:53to see this happening
09:54but proof that the teenager
09:55is fallible.

09:58when I was watching
09:58with number one,

10:03trying to triple out
10:05but watching Cole,
10:07it just looks like
10:07he was overriding
10:08like trying to get
10:09a little too aggressive.
