When it comes to making an egg roll at home, skip the wrappers and use a flour tortilla. In this video, Nicole shows you how to make a copycat recipe for Chili’s southwestern egg rolls with chicken, black beans, corn, and cheese. Whether it’s deep fried in oil over the stove or alone in an air fryer, the tortilla shell takes on the perfect crunchy texture.

00:00When it comes to egg rolls,
00:01skip the wrapper and use a tortilla.
00:03So in this filling is chicken, black beans,
00:06corn, cilantro, and of course, cheese.
00:09Take a tortilla and roll it up,
00:12just like you would an egg roll.
00:13And then you wanna secure it,
00:14because I am going to deep fry these with a toothpick,
00:17just like so.
00:18Now we fry.
00:19And you could just cook these in the air fryer as well.
00:22Just spray them with a little oil, cook them till crispy.
00:24This is a time when breaking out the deep fryer
00:26or the pan of oil is completely worth it.
