This simple appetizer converts the comforting taste of a Philly Cheesesteak into bite-sized egg rolls! In this video, an Allrecipes Allstar shows you how to make homemade steak and cheese eggrolls with cooked bell peppers, onions, and shaved steak. Cooked until crispy in the air fryer, these upgraded egg rolls are going to disappear from the party platter in no time.

00:00Steak and cheese egg rolls are a staple in Philly and D.C.
00:03I moved from D.C. to Philly so I kind of know.
00:05First, get shaved steak in a pan. Add seasonings and cook the meat all the way through.
00:09When done, remove from pan and taste because no unseasoned steak in D.C. or Philly.
00:13Cook the peppers and onions and combine with the steak.
00:16Grab your egg roll wrapper, add oil to seal those edges.
00:19Stuffing on the inside, cheese on top to keep steak in place.
00:22Roll up that egg roll and make sure it's nice and tight.
00:24No loose filling, please.
00:25When they're all done, stick them in the air fryer.
00:27Spray with cooking spray so they're nice and crispy.
00:30When they're done, you have the perfect appetizer.
00:32You won't need the carryout or the restaurant after this.
00:35Just like Philly cheesesteak, but an egg roll.
