00:06has been granted for the restoration of part of St Mark's Gateway Church in Woodhouse.
00:11Youth groups will be held at the Gothic-style church, which already serves as a food bank
00:16and a community meeting space. It was used as an Anglican church until 2001, but closed
00:23due to declining worshippers. The building dates back to 1823 and was bought by the Gateway
00:30Buildings Trust and reopened in 2014. A planning report said additional space was needed for
00:37a busy programme of community activities. Leeds City Council granted planning and listed building
00:43consent.
