00:13Leeds City Council has been asked to approve the conversion of the site, which previously
00:17contained 25 student beds.
00:20A report by CRL Architects said the vacant building had also been used as a residential
00:27home and low-cost hotel.
00:28Following the closure of the hotel, the site has since been occupied by squatters, who
00:34have caused a large amount of material damage to the property during their occupation.
00:38A full planning application is out for consultation until the 21st of July.
