00:01Seven flats can be built in a historic city centre building after plans were agreed with
00:05the council. Part of a grade 2 listed building on the hedgerow opposite the Three Legs pub
00:11will be redeveloped. Six one bedroom and a single two bed apartment will be created at the site.
00:17The conversion of the upper floors of the 1930s building was given the go ahead by Leeds City
00:22Council. The council as conservation officer raised no objections to alterations to the
00:27building's interior which was previously used as offices. A report by CRL Architects said demand
00:34for city centre offices had declined due to a growing trend towards remote and hybrid working
00:40across the country.
