00:00The warm-up that everybody's been waiting for in the Northeast is finally here, and for the most part, it
00:07continues in the next week.
00:08What a cold start to the week. Remember Wednesday morning, it felt more like mid-February?
00:13Well, big changes late this week. Frontal boundary starts coming east Thursday night into Friday, but it's out ahead of
00:20that front.
00:21We get west-southwest winds, and it's finally going to feel like April, and in spots, it's going to feel
00:26like May.
00:27Now, a little reprieve from the widespread warmth this weekend as high pressure settles in.
00:33It's certainly not going to be chilly, but it's not going to feel like mid-May like it will in
00:38some spots tomorrow.
00:39But as we get in the next week, look at the pattern.
00:44A big area of high pressure off the southeast coast of the United States.
00:47What does that do? Provide a west-southwest wind, and temperatures respond.
00:53Go on, look at Philadelphia early next week.
00:5680s Monday, Tuesday into Wednesday, and there's not much cooling later next week as well.
01:04So for those that have been waiting for spring, it's here.
01:08In fact, away from the east coast early next week, it's going to feel like summer.
01:13Sure.
