00:00A marvelous Monday rolls into a terrific Tuesday across the Great Lakes and the Northeast with
00:05sunshine and milder air and a true taste of spring. But don't blink. By midweek, the warmth
00:12gets yanked away as a fresh shot of chill rushes back in, reminding everyone that spring has still
00:18not quite sprung. Enjoy Tuesday if you like it warm. Tuesday is the warmest day of the week,
00:25especially along the eastern seaboard, out ahead of a frontal boundary that will slowly push in the
00:30area Tuesday night and Wednesday. Now, this front's going to stall on Wednesday. And with that,
00:37here comes the rain. And then behind that, another shot of cool air comes on in Wednesday night. And
00:45this, of course, will last into the upcoming weekend as temperatures average 5 to 15 degrees below
00:51historical averages. Look at the big drop in temperatures. Let's go to Philadelphia. Middle
00:5680s Tuesday, then well below historical averages as we had in the Wednesday, Thursday, and then
01:04in the Saturday. And unfortunately, as we look forward, even in the middle part of May, this
01:10dip in the jet stream keeps coming back, which means there will be more cool days than warm days.
