00:05Do you think it's a mediocre draft?
00:08The draft is usually built around the quarterbacks,
00:12and I just don't see any standout future Hall of Famer quarterbacks in this draft.
00:17So I'm going to call it a mediocre draft because without the studs at the top that,
00:21and I know we're going to talk about a couple of them in a minute,
00:24the quarterbacks, you're kind of forcing squares into circular holes
00:28or circles into square pegs.
00:30It's not the deepest draft.
00:32Next year is going to be significantly better and deeper,
00:35but there is talent in this draft.
00:37There always is.
00:38It's just not at the top where you can close your eyes and say,
00:41you know what, Peyton Manning is going to be the number one or number two pick.
00:44I like it.
00:45Can't go wrong there, although people did think Ryan Leaf,
00:47but you know what I mean.
00:48It doesn't have that Trevor Lawrence, Peyton Manning,
00:51or even any of the quarterbacks from recent times, Joe Burrow, et cetera,
00:56just not seeing that at the top.

01:00What do you think Howie Roseman does in the draft?
01:02He's done very well over the last five years in tooling that team
01:07and building one of the better rosters in the National Football League.
01:10Where do you see the Eagles going?
01:12I think it depends on what happens between now and draft day with A.J. Brown.
01:16If they trade A.J. Brown, you could be looking at getting a wide receiver
01:20like Jordan Tyson from ASU down in the second half of the first round.
01:24Also, it depends on what you trade A.J. Brown for.
01:26Maybe you get somehow a one pick and you move up in the draft.
01:29But if they stay straight, I think they're going to need either an O-line
01:33because eventually you're going to have to replace Lane Johnson at some point,
01:37or maybe you go secondary and build up from there.
01:40But you know he loves edge players.
01:42He's drafted the Georgia Bulldogs defense of the last half decade.
01:46So you have Mesophor from your University of Miami would be a decent pick there.
01:51He would fit perfectly with that defensive line.
01:54Or do you go the tight end route to know that Dallas Goddard only has one more year?
02:00I think he has a lot of options because he has a solid team.
02:04The defense is young but good, but the bill is coming due on a couple other players.
02:08So I would not be surprised if he reloaded on the D-line and or went and said,
02:13all right, this is it for Lane, we're going to go get an offensive lineman,
02:16Proctor, out of Alabama or the kid out of Utah just to sure up when Lane's gone.
02:21So let's go to the Cowboys here.
02:23You know, the Cowboys have built some equity up here getting at Micah Parsons trade.
02:27A couple first-round draft choices.
02:29You know, they've got some equity now.
02:31It looks like actually they're heading in the right direction here.
02:34Where do you think Jerry Jones goes in the draft?
02:37I think he's got to use both picks on defense.
02:40That team last year makes the playoffs and potentially has a run if they had any semblance of a defense.
02:46Their offense was great.
02:47Even with CeeDee Lamb missing some time, you've got to build up the defense.
02:51They traded for Rashaun Gary.
02:52I think that's a good first step.
02:53But you could use another cornerback to complement Bland and Durant.
02:57You could use another edge guy, maybe a Kevin Falk out of Auburn.
03:01But you need defense.
03:03They traded Micah Parsons.
03:04That's a big hole.
03:05You saw it last year.
03:07They need to spend both picks.
03:08They got 12 and 20.
03:10Defense, defense, and more defense.
03:12Because if that defense is good, you're looking at a team that could potentially contend next year.
03:16And you say that laughing because it's the Dallas Cowboys.
03:19But that is what they're missing.
03:21You know their offense is good.
