00:00The National Football League came out with their primetime games.
00:03They also came out with all the games that we're going to see during the holidays.
00:08But guess what?
00:09There were five teams that were left out of the primetime games.
00:13They are the Miami Dolphins, the Raiders, the Titans, the Jets, and the Cardinals.
00:20These are the worst-run franchises in the NFL.
00:24There's no coincidence when you look at ownership, every single one of these owners.
00:29You're looking at Stephen Ross, the owner of the Miami Dolphins, one of the worst owners in pro football.
00:34Look at the salary cap hell that they're in because of the Tua Tug of Iola deal.
00:40You look at the Bidwells with the Cardinals.
00:42The Cardinals have not been good but once in over 100 years.
00:47Look at the Raiders.
00:48Mark Davis is not Al Davis.
00:51That Raider team for the last 20 years has been a train wreck.
00:56Oh, but hey, Tom Brady's there.
00:58And I'm sure with all his laser focus, not when he's not there all the time, that that's going to
01:04turn that franchise around.
01:06And then, of course, you've got the legendary New York Jets.
01:11Oh, yeah, baby.
01:12Fireman Ed.
01:13He's there for the rescue.
01:15Woody Johnson has owned that football team for 25 years.
01:20And he's got 15 straight seasons where this guy hasn't had a playoff sniff.
01:26They're not going anywhere because it's so poorly run.
01:30You've got Mike North, though, the vice president of football broadcasting, coming out and saying,
01:35hey, listen, just because those teams are not in the primetime spots, our 425 window is the most important window.
01:44And you're like, dude, why can't you just admit you've got five crappy owners?
01:49You've really got more.
01:50But those five crappy teams, NFL fans don't want to see.
01:54They don't want to see train wrecks like those organizations.
01:59You've got the Titans involved with that with the Adams family.
02:02How appropriate.
02:03What have they done since they've been in Nashville?
02:06They've been good all but one year when Jeff Fisher was there.
02:09Look, NFL has a great way of protecting their own.
02:14There's no doubt 32 owners are not going to look and throw shade at any of those five guys who
02:18don't have prime games.
02:20Fans are looking at wanting to see the best product.
02:23And the NFL wants to do that as well.
02:26Jets bring you nothing.
02:28Raiders bring you nothing.
02:29And again, the National Football League would sit there and try to tell you, well, our 425.
02:35By the way, they're not wrong.
02:37But just admit it.
02:39Your 425 window is a great window.
02:43But your football teams here with zero prime time?
02:48I mean, guys, this is exactly what the National Football League loves to do.
02:54They love to throw shade at certain areas so the media can grab a hold of and say, wait a
03:01minute here.
03:01425.
03:02But you've got to remember something, too, about the NFL.
03:05They're never going to ever take a crap on the worst teams in the league.
03:10In their eyes, the NFL is as strong as the weakest link.
03:15Do you understand something?
03:16When all this money is being divvied out, whether you have a prime time game or whether you don't have
03:23a prime time game, every NFL team splits with profit sharing right down the middle.
03:29So it really doesn't matter.
03:31If the Jets or the Dolphins or the Raiders or the Cardinals or the Titans aren't on TV in prime
03:38time, it doesn't really matter.
03:40You could be 17-0 or 0-17, and the teams make the same money.
03:47That's why the National Football League is king.
03:50Being in prime time, that's for you and me.
03:53That's for television ratings.
03:55That's for holding these networks hostage for the NFL.
03:58NFL is classic, and when you're looking at what games you're going to see on the holidays, zero prime time
04:05games for New York City, for Miami, and for Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Nashville.
04:14They just built a brand new stadium in Nashville, and it's going to open up in 27.
04:21And they're talking about putting a Super Bowl there.
04:24You've got to be kidding me.
04:26NFL, they know what they're doing.
04:28Especially when it comes to promoting their league.
