00:00Hello everyone, this is William Chambers and it's good to be here with you all again today.
00:05Today I want to talk about when the righteous rise again.
00:11Oh, lay not wait, oh wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous.
00:16Spoil not his resting place, for a just man falleth seven times and riseth up again,
00:23but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
00:26This text is talking about how God protects the dwelling of the righteous from the plots of the wicked.
00:34It's telling the wicked not to lay up weight, secretly lurking, plotting and scheming against the righteous.
00:40It's talking about how wicked men will attack the righteous man's dwelling place.
00:45What do I mean by that?
00:47When we're talking about your dwelling place, we're talking about your home.
00:50There's a lot of things that home is associated with.
00:53Home is associated with your heart.
00:56Your loved ones are at your home.
00:58The wicked may attack those whom you love.
01:01When we're talking about home, we're talking about your hope.
01:03You have hope for your loved ones.
01:05So when you attack my home, you're attacking some of the things that I'm hoping in.
01:10Hoping that they come unto Christ.
01:12Oh goodness.
01:13The wicked may attack your comfort.
01:15A home is a place where you're comfortable at.
01:17That's where stability is.
01:19That's where you have a sense of belonging.
01:21So this is very tragic.
01:23However, this text talks about an unseen protection that the righteous have.
01:28Oh, ah.
01:30This text talks about a divine resistance against the wicked when he comes against the dwelling place of the righteous.
01:39The Bible says that the just man will fall.
01:42You may attack him and he may fall temporarily.
01:45What do I mean?
01:46He may fall into things.
01:48We fall into things all the time.
01:51Oh, when wicked people plan against the believer.
01:54Oh, believer.
01:55You might fall into discouragement.
01:57You might fall into mischief and injustice.
02:01It may hurt for a while.
02:03You might fall into some hatred and bitterness.
02:05They hate you and they plotting against you and they talking about you and they lying on you.
02:10You may fall into that.
02:11You may fall into some temporary suffering.
02:15These things might come.
02:16You may fall into some betrayal.
02:18Oh, have you ever fell into some betrayal?
02:21Have you ever fell into some trouble?
02:23Oh, the righteous man falled seven times.
02:27He continually falls.
02:30One thing after another.
02:32Oh, have you ever just one thing hit your life after another?
02:36Repeated falls.
02:37This came against you.
02:38Then that came against you.
02:40And then this wicked scheme came against you.
02:42When we fall a lot like that, we might feel powerless.
02:45We might feel a little misunderstood.
02:48We may feel a bit confused and irritated.
02:51Sometimes it's downright humiliating because you feel a sense of being defeated.
02:59We need God's grace for these things.
03:01We fall into things and they make us feel a certain type of way.
03:05We may feel exhausted and abandoned.
03:08Like there's nobody to help me in this and I'm tired of going through all this.
03:13You may even feel like I want to quit.
03:17But this text gives us hope.
03:20This text breathes hope into our lives.
03:22It says,
03:24For a just man falls seven times and rises again.
03:30This text is saying that the just man shall have a day of victory.
03:34The just man shall have a day of resurrection where God will rise you up again.
03:40I got to praise God right there.
03:42Oh, goodness.
03:44Believer, I want to say, and when you rise again, rise up still loving.
03:50Rise up still steady.
03:53Rise up still believing in God.
03:56Rise up in your faith.
03:58I'm going to rise again.
03:59And I'm not going to rise up bitter.
04:01No, no, no, no, no.
04:02I'm going to rise again.
04:03I won't rise up hateful.
04:04No, I'm going to rise up faithful under God.
04:07I'm going to rise up merciful.
04:09Oh, there's a way you ought to rise up.
04:11When I do rise, I'm not going to rise up trying to hold a grudge and revenge and trying to
04:16do you wrong.
04:17No, no, no.
04:17I'm going to be calm and loving and forgiving.
04:20Oh, God.
04:21That should be our prayer.
04:23Rise again.
04:24Believer, when your enemies come against you, I want you to be speaking resurrection language.
04:30What do I mean by that?
04:31Oh, I'm going down, I'm down right now, but I shall recover.
04:37I won't stay in this.
04:38My God is good.
04:40What I'm talking about is talk language of faith.
04:43I still believe in God and he's not done with me yet.
04:48Though you might not like me, though you come against me in so many kind of ways, I shall, shall,
04:54shall, shall rise again.
04:56Again, resurrection language.
04:58Oh, the enemy don't want you to speak that resurrection language and faith in God language.
05:04Praise be unto God.
05:06Hallelujah.
05:07So the just man shall fall seven times and rise up again, but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
05:11The Bible says the just man shall rise, but the wicked will fall permanently.
05:16God will not let the wicked rise.
05:19He didn't say he let the wicked rise again.
05:21He says the wicked shall fall into mischief.
05:24Oh, he may, he going to fall by the weight of his own consequences of his actions.
05:29Uh, we don't have to fight the wicked.
05:32Let God do the fighting.
05:35In conclusion, Jesus fail.
05:39How did Jesus fall?
05:41Jesus fell into betrayal.
05:44Uh, they betrayed him.
05:46Have you ever fell into betrayal?
05:48Jesus was scourged.
05:50Hallelujah.
05:50They beat him.
05:52Uh, unrecognizable.
05:53Jesus was crucified.
05:56Ah, they killed him.
05:57And then Jesus fell into burial.
06:02But you got to know the rest of the story.
06:03That's not the end of the story.
06:05The rest of the story is he rose again.
06:11Ah, he rose again.
06:13We're talking about the ultimate rising again of the righteous.
06:16The righteous man may fall seven times, but he shall rise again.
06:22So believer, you may fall into opposition.
06:26It may come after you.
06:28This text is talking about it.
06:30People may scheme against you.
06:33You may fall or you may be pushed down.
06:36But God gives the righteous strength to rise again.
06:44In this text, God is whispering to the believer.
06:46You may fall, but I will lift you again.
06:52And therefore, we should have faith in our God.
06:55I may fall, but don't get to rejoicing too much.
07:00Oh, my enemies, don't get to rejoicing too much.
07:04Because there's some resilience given unto the believer.
07:08The righteous have supernatural resilience.
07:13Oh, how did he do that?
07:15He's rising again.
07:17The enemies are taking note now.
07:20Watching the supernatural grace of God on the life of the righteous.
07:25Help us, God.
07:26Help us and encourage us to always know that though we fall, in you we can rise again.
07:39I want to thank everybody for being a part of this journey, for encouraging me on my journey.
07:45I want to encourage us to keep on pressing, keep on reaching towards God.
07:50We are in need of him.
07:52Continue with me, and we will go deeper and deeper.
07:55In Jesus' name, in Jesus' name I pray and say, amen.
08:08Amen.
08:10Amen.
08:11Amen.
08:18Amen.
08:20Amen.
08:20Amen.
