00:00Hello everyone, it's William Chambers. It is good to be here with you all with people who love to
00:05hear the Word of God. If we had a subject and a title for today's topic, it would be called
00:12Hell Believes in Evangelism. Evangelism spreading the gospel. Hell believes in spreading the gospel
00:19and we're going to look at that in this text. Just setting up the table, Jesus is telling a
00:24true-to-life account of a rich man who had all the world's comforts without repentance. This man had
00:32all of the world's comforts and no repentance at all and ended up in hell. And after all hope of
00:40salvation was gone, this rich man is speaking out in our text. And I think we should pay attention to
00:48this. Let's look at this. Then he says, I pray thee therefore, Father, that thou wouldest send him to
00:53my father's house. For I have five brethren that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into
01:00this place of torment. This is the rich man crying out to Abraham to send Lazarus to his father's
01:08house where his brothers are because they are on their way to hell. This rich man can no longer,
01:14he's no longer rich, but he can no longer evangelize. He has lost his opportunities to speak about God.
01:21He didn't care about God. But now that he has no more opportunity and he finds out that hell is
01:27actually hot, he's like, no, no, no, no, no. I need somebody to warn my brethren. Now I want to
01:33talk
01:33about the mission that begins too late. This man wants to now tell people about Jesus. This man wants
01:40to tell people about the judgment. This man wants to tell his brothers because it starts off in the house.
01:47But the sad thing is, it is too late. Are you telling those in your house about Christ?
01:53Are you leading them to a place of safety? If not, you'll be leading them to a place of eternal
02:00judgment, a place of fire. I say this not lightly, wanting no man to perish. Are you leading the people
02:08that you know to a safe place, to a place of blessing? We're talking about heaven. Or is your example
02:14leading them to hell? Well, this man, this man wants to begin a mission too late. He says, I pray
02:20thee,
02:21I'm praying with urgency. Send him to my father's house. For I have five brethren that they may
02:27testify unto them. This man now believes in testimony. He believes in sinning. This man now
02:34believes in testifying about Christ. He now believes in sending people. He now believes in the value of
02:41warnings. He now understands why we must urgently tell people about Christ now that he's in hell
02:48and have no more opportunity. Hell is full of missionaries who cannot be sent.
02:55Hell is filled with people who have urgency to tell people now, but they have no more opportunity
03:00and they cannot move. Hell is filled with people who cannot speak about God. Hell is filled with people
03:08that want to deliver the truth, but cannot. Opportunity is gone for this man. He is denied.
03:17Oh, help us not to be like this man. This man feels the weight of family responsibility. He remembers his
03:22brothers and know that they're on the same path of danger like him. This way is crushing because I'm in
03:30hell now. I'm tormented now. This is a place of torment. God wanted to warn us. This is a place
03:37of
03:37torment and it's irreversible. You cannot return to speak to your loved ones. You cannot return
03:44to speak to those who you wanted to speak to. You cannot return to correct your bad example
03:50that may be leading people down the wrong road. This is hell. If you love somebody, you'll tell them
03:56about Jesus. This man has the memory and the realization that those that loved him, those that
04:03were watching him, those that were learning from him and those that were following him are on their
04:09way to a terrible place. And this is unbearable. It's unbearable to realize that you're leading
04:16people to an unsafe place. Quit leading people to hell. Come unto Christ. Don't be like this man.
04:24This man has memory. Oh, can you imagine? He has memory, but this memory is part of his judgment.
04:31He's remembered every opportunity he squandered. Oh, he could have received the Christ, but he
04:35didn't receive it. Oh, people may have came up to him and talked to him. He had Moses. He had
04:41the
04:41prophets and he had a Lazarus, the begging at the gate. He ignored all of them. And he has the
04:49memory
04:49in hell. You have memories in hell of all that he squandered. These memories become a witness
04:56against his soul. Oh, the memories are testifying against you. Oh, when you had the time, you totally
05:03ignored it all. What he once ignored replays over and over and over why he's tormented in flames. Can
05:12you imagine? Oh, come to Christ. Oh, I talk about hell and love. I don't want you to go there.
05:20Oh, I don't
05:21want anybody to go there. These memories are part of his judgment. These memories force the soul to
05:27relive what could have happened, what could have happened. Forced the soul to think about what
05:31should have been done. Forced the soul to repeatedly think about what you put off, thinking that you had
05:37time forever. We don't have time forever. This life is a very fragile life. Help us, Lord, get right
05:44with God. I think this is why judgment is so unbearable because you have no more opportunity
05:51and you have memories of those who you led the wrong way and memories of people that's headed the
05:56same way as you. How can you say you love somebody and you lead them in a terrible path to
06:03reject the
06:04Christ and on their way to hell? Oh, Lord. I hope this is making people think. Help us all, God.
06:11We need
06:12you. In Jesus' name we pray and say. Amen.
06:19Hello, friends. God has a call for your life. You are not without a purpose. Let us figure out that
06:26purpose with the help of God and let us move there in and let us grow together. And until we
06:33meet
06:34again, God bless you all.
