00:49thought man we've gotten in so many discussions about vast conspiracies NFL all these GMs conspiring
00:57to hold him back because they don't like prime or whatever it was or the agent thing the fact that
01:03he didn't have an agent so it was a little different and I kept hearing all this going
01:08I gotta say I think he might have just tanked the interviews I like Todd McShay because he came on

01:13show and he's a really nice guy even though he was willing to use his friend's earpods which I
01:17thought was weird but at the same time you you were able to put a bandage on at on Baskin's

01:22back right near his butt but that's a conversation you have to listen to if you would want to uh

02:46stuff that's fine but there's a reason that when these players hook up with agencies I know you're shaking

03:00with agencies they educate them on the interview process and they go through these mock interviews
03:08they didn't do any of that clearly they they almost bragged about how much they were not going to be
03:13a part of that process and by not going with an agent he was going to do it his way

03:20extent I think is admirable I don't think it was smart and I think cost him a lot of money

03:25hey he was going to do it his way and I think his fans love that about him I think
03:30his fans embrace
03:31that and that's what makes Shador Sanders unique and stand above the crowd but it wasn't going to help
03:37you in that interview process and he got docked for it big time it wasn't the talent that he got
03:42docked it wasn't that he was stupid which some people have tried to make it seem or that he
03:48doesn't have a work ethic none of that stuff was true this was always the most obvious that he went
03:54with a terrible strategy during those interviews and the league got very scared it just isn't that

07:54become annoyed there is clearly something about him that does rub some people the wrong way but
07:59anything I've seen I haven't been rubbed the wrong way and some of the people I talk to have not

08:03guys in uniform have not been rubbed the wrong way of the guys I talk to and it sounds like

08:08under the microscope in that intimate one-on-one session or whatever it was when he did those
08:15interviews it sounds like he tanked the interview all I know is that this is a position where the
08:19the good ones are so few and far between anymore for all the reasons that if you listen to this

08:25we've told you a million times over the owners are in this league are obsessed now we have the most
08:31obsessed owner with finding a quarterback without a doubt the owners in this league are obsessed
08:36and he fell to the fifth round over interviews come on no there's something else that has to be a
08:43part of this I keep hearing something else but this to me I don't know what it is I can't

08:48those are supposedly even though they've opened up everything with the combine they aren't going to
08:52open that up I think if it is common knowledge like many reporters have now suggested and now Todd
08:56McShay who can obviously pick up the phone and call any GM in the league and he has heard this
09:00I think it's going to be a cautionary tale they're going to say do the opposite of whatever
09:05Shador did forevermore or else you too will have the chance to have your gifts kind of squandered and
09:11you'll have to fall and you'll be behind the eight ball where you're the fourth team quarterback
09:15throwing the ball so you're telling me that these guys wanted to prove a point and they wanted to use
09:18Shador Sanders to prove a point with it I don't think it's no no I think it will be used
