00:02I mean, when you project six years,
00:05which is basically could be the rest of Nico's career going through age 35,
00:12he's already making $12 million here on an extension that he signed four years ago
00:18or three years ago where he signed a three-year extension.
00:21So he's a career cub, and it's just another, you know, feel-good moment.
00:25But more importantly, even though he's not a slug guy,
00:31he's still a, you know, a $20 million player by today's standards.
00:36And $20 million isn't, you know, a superstar.
00:38It's a star.
00:39And Nico is a star player and I think well-deserved.
00:43I don't think you're going to get anybody complaining about it.
00:46But, guys, if you take it a step further, it's, again,
00:50the commitment to the future for the Cubs who, you know,
00:54certainly with all these free agents that they've had on the books,
00:59and there's another seven of them going into next year,
01:02this takes away some of that doubt going into that,
01:05and they're putting their money where their mouth is.
