00:00is that as good as the Cubs are, the division is also strong.
00:05And you can't take for granted that, oh, you're definitely going to be in there.
00:09They can simultaneously be one of the best three teams in baseball,
00:14and yet we're not sure they're going to win their division
00:17because of how good the division is.
00:19With the White Sox, it's the exact opposite thing,
00:21which is just staying around 500, you're going to be fine.
00:24With the Cubs, if you stay around 500, you might finish last.
00:26And so that's where there's going to be that need and desire for them
00:31to probably add in one more piece.
00:33And as long as you're willing to give up the right prospect in that deal,
00:37you might be able to get someone that's under control beyond the end of this year
00:41and you feel a little more comfortable parting with that type of a player.
00:46Now, one team, because I'm sure Cubs fans already want to know,
00:49okay, who's that team potentially?
00:51Pay close attention to the Minnesota Twins.
00:53Bailey Ober is a name that I think is going to be prominent
00:57on the trade market this summer.
00:59The Twins, to me, are not a very competitive team
01:02to win the division right now in the Central.
01:03They made a lot of moves last year in terms of moving players out.
01:07They did not trade Joe Ryan.
01:09I think Joe Ryan, if he's healthy, which has been a question mark,
01:13if he's healthy, he certainly is the top name.
01:15But Ober, I believe he's signed through next year,
01:18Ober is a really interesting name for the Cubs for any number of teams.
01:22But pay close attention to his starts
01:24because I do believe Ober is going to be a name
01:26we talk about a lot on the trade market this summer.
