00:30Well, I don't know about Alcantara making it because the council said numerous times he's only one phone call away
00:38if we need him because he has options, right?
00:41These other guys, you know, Carlson is going to make the team and Conforto, who's been told he is, they
00:46don't have minor league options.
00:49That's a big deal.
00:50And that's why we've been talking about their pitching with Javier Assad and Ben Brown, both having options.
00:58One of them is probably going to go back and it looks like Assad might.
01:02So getting back to the right field, I mean, Shaw has been an underrated part of spring training as far
01:10as his hitting goes,
01:11because our concentration on underreporting and overreporting, David, is him playing from position to position.

01:26You know, the hitting tools there.
01:28I would expect him to start opening day, but Conforto has been signed for that reason, to give them, you
01:35know, more at-bats from the left side.
01:38If you're facing a right-handed pitcher, Baesteros is going to get the lion's share of the DH role.
01:44He's certainly proved in spring training, if you believe in spring training, that he's ready for it.
01:49I think we saw more of that last year in the major leagues, that he was able to hit major
01:54league pitching during the season.
01:55That's more of a test than spring training.
01:57But nonetheless, you know, Conforto's on the team for now.
02:02We'll see how all of it shakes down after Suzuki comes back.
02:07And they hope, even if they don't put him on the IL, it's still probably going to be another week
02:13or 10 days until he's ready to play.
02:15We'll see how they go about that.
02:17I imagine he will go on the DL.
02:20They have until Wednesday to give the IL list, so we'll know more of that.
