Claims of a 4 year old girl being molested in Tobago is being investigated by police.

This comes as the child's father in an exclusive interview with TV6'S Elizabeth Williams fears that the matter is moving at a slow pace .

The accused in this matter has since fled the home where the incident occurred between the 11th and 12th of March, in Tobago West. More in this report.

00:00The 16th of March, I went to Chuban Station around 3.30 p.m. to make a report concerning interference

00:08Upon reaching there, I talked to an officer, which I'm not familiar with her name as yet, but knew her

00:17They then take a statement from me.
00:20The receipt from police was shown to TV6 News.
00:25The person accused in this case is the former girlfriend of the father.
00:30Who says his daughter told him the incident occurred in the presence of two other children.
00:35The concerned father told TV6 News he is now worried for his daughter.

00:56He said he was told to return on Friday to have his daughter examined as previous efforts failed.
01:04They didn't tell him he now to come Friday, which is Friday coming here, the 27th, to do some examines.
01:11The father says he remains disappointed.
01:13More firm action has not come from police, as garments with evidence still remain at his home following the incident.
01:23The father was up to Monday at the Chilfen Road police station.
01:27When contacted for comment, senior officers told the TV6 News, while the matter is under active investigation by the Special

01:37the unit is awaiting other agencies and moving forward with the process.
