Another attempt is being made to revive Entertainment Wresting in Trinidad and Tobago. They are calling it the Twin Island Wrestling Entertainment tournament. It is expected to take place on March 28th at Lions Cultural Club. As expected the media briefing brought out the colourful characters promising to put on a show.

00:03Come March 28th, local wrestlers will enter the ring at the Twin Island Wrestling Entertainment Competition.
00:09Organiser of the tournament, Tony Cervantes, explains.
00:13Well, Twilina Wrestling encapsulates what the promotion is about.
00:17It is a locally owned promotion. It is an authentic Trinbegonian experience.
00:24I am proud to say that my wrestling school, which is the 868 Wrestling Academy,
00:30has recently upgraded its facility to a 1,600-square-foot warehouse,
00:35the first of its kind in Trinidad and Tobago wrestling.
00:39That is the standard of commitment we have to grow in the sport locally at Twin Island Wrestling.
00:44Local MMA President Jason Fraser has supported the idea behind the initiative.
00:48They've indicated it's not an attempt to replicate the WWE,
00:51but it's meant to reflect a local flavor of wrestling.
