00:03Il nostro corso di QTSS
00:30So we told the story of a little girl, Didi, who was having a really rough time at home.
00:34And the idea of being able to play her imaginary friend really helped bring life into the mechanic
00:40and helped complement the world that we were building.
00:43As an imaginary friend, Dawn has the ability to shift in and out of shadows.
00:47Every shadow becomes a platform, and we'll have to go between 3D and 2D constantly to solve our puzzles.
00:52But you can move some lights and objects in 3D, which allows you to change the shadows in 2D.
00:57It's a core element to solving some of the puzzles.
01:00That said, we also varied up the gameplay a little bit by adding platforming to each one of the puzzles.
01:05So the atmosphere was really important to us.
01:07We love film noir and German Expressionism due to their emphasis on shadows, so we used them to inspire our
01:12world.
01:13We wanted to create a foreboding feeling over top of a familiar European setting, an adult world seen through a
01:18child's eyes.
01:19Ball speed ahead!
01:25So the soundtrack and the music were also really important to us.
01:28We even worked with a contemporary jazz singer, Laura Ellis, to help transport you into the 1920s burlesque era that
01:35Didi lives in.
01:36Ultimately, we wanted to create a well-rounded product, whether it was the visuals or the context or the story.
01:41We really wanted to create a unique atmosphere that we think you're really going to enjoy.
01:45like, psychologist, too.
01:50Well, eventually, we're going to be beeifera-good.
