00:31La storia di Childe of Light
00:32follows Aurora
00:34She's a young daughter
00:35of an Austrian duke
00:36and one day she wakes up
00:38in the magical world of Lemuria
00:40and her first objective
00:42is to return home to her father
00:45During that journey
00:47Aurora will meet a lot of people
00:49She's going to grow as a person
00:52from a little child
00:53that needs to go home
00:54to a young princess
00:56that will save the kingdom of Lemuria
01:02The look of the game
01:03is an animated painting
01:06We have the impression
01:07of evolving in a complete illustration
01:10The artistic inspirations
01:10are a lot of old illustrations
01:12from the 18th century
01:13such as John Bauer, Edmond Dulac, Rackham
01:17We have to accentuate
01:20the aquarelle effect
01:21and give the impression
01:23of being in a dream
01:25It's a very fluid game
01:27very elegant
01:28which brings homage to the painting
01:30of the old illustrations
01:32To bring this look
01:33it also allowed us
01:34to escape from what we see
01:37in the current games
01:37We wanted something very simple
01:40very colorable
01:41and at the same time
01:42very sweet
01:42It was a whole world
01:43to create
01:43It was really very good
01:48I really wanted to aim for
01:50the fans of those
01:51classic console RPGs
01:53People like me for example
01:55grew up a little bit
01:56and now we have families
01:57and the idea was
01:58can we bring those fans
01:59to share the experience
02:01with their family
02:01their loved ones
02:02and that's how we came up
02:04with the idea of
02:05having the game playable in co-op
02:10On Child of Light
02:11we're using the UbiArt Framework Engine
02:13which is the engine developed
02:15in Montpellier
02:16for Rayman Origins
02:17and Rayman Legends
02:18The art pipeline is fantastic
02:20The concept art is the game art
02:23we just cut it up
02:23and it's in the engine
02:24that afternoon
02:25It allowed us to realize
02:27that dream
02:27of being able to play
02:30on a living painting
02:31and see the end
02:33of the artist
02:34in the game
02:37Just last year
02:39I only had a couple of images
02:41an idea of what a game could be
02:43Today
02:44with the help of the team
02:45the idea became something
02:47really concrete
02:47and I'm really proud
02:49of what we accomplished
02:59When I started to think
03:02about Child of Light
03:03I wanted to start working
03:04with external collaborators
03:06in Montreal
03:06and in our search
03:08for collaborators
03:09we ended up with people
03:11that are extremely talented
03:12and world-renowned
03:14to try to make the difference
03:14in the figure
03:14and this is the ability
03:17that you need
03:17In discussion
03:18the department
03:19on the team
03:20has become a new
03:20as a leader
03:20for the team
03:20and the team
03:20and the team
03:29a new team
03:29Grazie a tutti.
