00:08The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, received the Nuestra America convoy at the
00:13Havana Convention Palace in a meeting that reinforces international solidarity with the
00:18island in the face of the United States blockade. The Cuban President met with members of the
00:22Nuestra America convoy to express gratitude for their support against the illegal U.S.
00:27blockade. The international delegation is composed of over 350 activists from 33 countries representing
00:34more than 440 social and solidarity organizations. During the meeting, Cuban authorities emphasize
00:40that this initiative builds breaches of friendship and announces the coercive measures affecting

01:04I come on behalf of the Portugal-Cuba Friendship Society and I come with the European convoy
01:09of solidarity with Cuba to bring medicines but also to bring hope and friendship in solidarity
01:15with the Cuban people who have been for so many years supportive of the whole world. Here
01:21we are giving back, returning everything that Cuba deserves, which is hope, solidarity and our love.
01:29I am part of a search and rescue organization in the Mediterranean. We rescue migrants and fight
01:34against policies of death with practices of life. And it is the same thing being done here. People are
01:40fighting against the deadly policies of the U.S. blockade with practices of life, resistance and solidarity.
01:45And here we are, in solidarity with the Cuban people, who have taught us so much.
