00:07you have spoke about the opportunity and the disposition to dialogue with the United States.
00:14I would like to know if you would be willing to speak to USA or under which principle would
00:23you do it, and which were the point of this agenda. I would like to say that in the history
00:29of relations between Cuba and the United States after the triumph of the revolution have characterized
00:34for an asymmetric that is marked by the imposition of this blockade, economical and financial
00:43blockade during many years that have been deepened during the last years. In the current times,
00:52there is always, have existed in the US and in other countries, a group of personal organizations
00:58that have favored paths, bridges, spaces of dialogue, of channels of communication. And
01:07many times we have reached, and we have reached it. It is allowed for us to speak as equals
01:15about issues that we have to share different concepts. But in common sense, we are in the
01:23same geographic area, we are neighbors. There are immigration topics, issues about narcotraffic
01:34fight, fight against terrorism, environment issues, things that have to do with the sea and all
01:44the things around the Mexico Gulf, the maritime currents, but also other issues that have to
01:50see to do with scientific collaboration, academic collaboration. There is a big agenda of issues
01:57that can be discussed. Always, there has been a position, historical position, that was defined
02:05and defended by Commander Fidel Castro and was followed by General of the Army, Raul, that cannot be changed
02:16in the current time. Cuba is open to a dialogue with the USA, a dialogue about any topic, any issue
02:23that they want to dialogue with. Under what conditions? Not under pressures. We cannot talk under pressure,
02:35without conditions, in an equal position, in a respectful position, to our sovereignty, to our independence,
02:49to our self-determination, without going to topics that hurt or we can understand interference in our
02:58internal affairs. And a dialogue like that could be built a relationship among neighbors, a civilized one,
03:10that could give mutual benefits to the people of both nations. Cubans, we do not hate the North American
03:21North American people. We know the values of their history and their culture, but we have had the chance
03:28to have spaces of meeting between our peoples in the sport, religious, cultural sectors, in health sector,
03:40even dialogues. In a political level, we have found that there are many things in which we can work together
03:53without prejudices, that can give a lot to us. We have seen many things. We have been deprived both people
04:05of the black people who don't want to, and these internal laws with all parties,
04:07as we have seen in the town of the country. But, by the time we have seen many people talk about
04:08policies in the country, and they have been REDUCARD, and they have seen in the state,
04:09with the national program that had been violated in the country, and they have seen
04:10the law of the country, and the political programs are used on the country, and the
04:25government that is helping us to the country.
04:32It is a position of continuity, and I think that it is possible.
