A stray bull attack in Sirsaganj town of Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district left an elderly man injured, with the incident triggering concern among locals.

The incident took place around 5:30 PM on Friday when 65-year-old Vishnu Diwakar, a resident of Gajadhar Gali, was passing through the busy market area. A stray bull suddenly attacked him, tossing him into the air and throwing him onto the road.

He sustained injuries in the attack and was assisted by locals. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

After the video surfaced on social media, the municipal authorities took swift action. A special team was deployed on Saturday to capture the bull.

According to chairman representative Gurudutt Singh, the animal was safely caught and sent to a cowshed to prevent further incidents.

The action has brought relief to traders and residents in the market area, who had expressed concern following the attack.

Local residents said the incident could have happened to anyone and welcomed the municipality’s move, calling it a necessary step to ensure public safety.
