00:00Shocking new information has been revealed after ABC cancelled Taylor Frankie Paul's season of
00:05The Bachelorette. The secret lives of Mormon Wives' castmates are alleging that Taylor's ex,
00:10Dakota Mortensen, continuously sabotaged her behind the scenes, well ahead of ABC canceling
00:15her season. Insiders tell Page Six that ABC's cancellation is going to cost the network
00:20tens of millions. After TMZ posted a disturbing 2023 video showing Paul throwing chairs at her
00:26ex, Dakota Mortensen, during a domestic violence incident, Disney pulled the plug on ABC's hit
00:32series three days before its Sunday premiere. A network insider told Page Six,
00:38They had to know, did they not do a background check on her? It's a disaster. It's going to cost
00:43them millions. It's got to be, with production, $10 to $15 million, maybe more. The highly rated
00:50Bachelorette will be replaced by reruns of American Idol on Sunday, another insider revealed to Page Six.
00:56The insider added,
00:57Everyone was aware of the domestic dispute and saw the body cam footage, which was covered in the
01:03secret lives of Mormon Wives, but the world saw what happened for the first time today.
01:07An industry source told us they had no choice but to pull the show after the video came out.
01:12Quote,
01:13It's a show for women. What woman and what mom is going to watch a woman throwing chairs with a
01:18child
01:19nearby?
01:19A spokesperson for the reality TV star tells Page Six,
01:23Taylor is very grateful for ABC's support as she prioritizes her family's safety and security.
01:29After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse, as well as threats of
01:34retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that
01:40she and her children are protected from any further harm.
01:43Taylor defended herself against the disturbing video with a spokesperson saying that the bombshell video
01:48conveniently omits context. The rep slammed the video as Mortensen's, quote,
01:53never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without
01:59any regard for the consequences for their child.
02:01In a resurfaced clip of Macy Neely and Layla Taylor's appearance on The Vile Files podcast in May 2025,
02:09Neely accused Mortensen of purposely ruining Paul's mindset ahead of major opportunities.
02:14Why do you think Taylor didn't show up today? Of course, it's always him behind the scenes,
02:18sabotaging things.
02:19So I should blame Dakota.
02:21A thousand percent.
02:22Neely alleged that anytime Paul had a big event coming up, Mortensen purposely got into fights with
02:27her to the point where Paul was crying and no longer wanted to do press. Neely and Taylor said
02:33this happened multiple times ahead of press events in 2024. She said,
02:38I think he's so insecure that he has to bring her down to his level, to be honest.
02:43Neely later called Mortensen a wolf in sheep's clothing, noting that he had a likable personality
02:48when filming, but was not the same behind closed doors. During a Zoom meeting on March 7th,
02:53cast members from the hit Hulu show sounded the alarm, warning ABC executives they had
02:57serious concerns about continuing the show if Paul stayed involved.
03:01The tense call involving the Mormon Wives cast came shortly after a February 2026 incident
03:07involving Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen, now part of an open domestic assault investigation
03:12in Utah. According to audio of the meeting obtained by NBC News, the cast flagged fears of safety,
03:19reputational damage, and the future of the series, as allegations against Paul continued to mount.
03:24One cast member who was not identified claimed they didn't feel comfortable filming
03:28while Paul remains under investigation. But what appeared to rattle the cast most were alleged
03:33videos of Paul's behavior, which several members described as distressing and upsetting.
03:38Ultimately, they agreed to pause filming of Season 5. Paul's legal troubles date back to 2023,
03:44when she was arrested after a separate domestic dispute with Mortensen,
03:47which was part of the storyline in Season 1 of Mormon Wives.
03:50I think he was of the general gourmet individual reasons for this involvement in suka with Paul
03:51Join me constant.
