00:28:47And up until around age five, and I think our dad was like, they're not allowed to play with these

00:28:57I think me coming out as trans at 19, having that separate experience was really strange as well.

00:29:03Like, having to come out on my own when I had come out with someone else before, I think it
00:29:07was quite difficult for my parents.
00:29:08Because they were so used to thinking of both of us.
00:29:11So did drag come first, and then your transition and journey came up?
00:29:14As a transgender drag queen, you have three coming outs.
00:29:16You probably come out as queer, and then you probably come out as a drag queen, and then you probably
00:29:21come out as a trans.
00:29:22Your parents are like, please, no more.
00:29:24Yeah, no more, no more.
00:29:26My parents have had to deal with a lot of the coming out process.
00:29:29Coming out as a trans woman at 19 was certainly the most difficult of those journeys for my parents and
00:29:34for myself.
00:29:36They're so good with it now.
00:29:38And I think them seeing this show, like, they'll be able to see that, you know, this was my strength
00:29:44all along.
00:29:45Yeah.
00:29:46This is a good thing.
00:29:47The understanding of my transness has come leaps and bounds since I came out to be here now, representing young
00:29:54trans people in the UK, and for my parents to even be proud of that and know how significant that
00:30:00is.
00:30:01I'm really proud of them, and I know they're proud of me, and that's the most important thing.
00:30:07For Harry as well, like, I have to thank them for the confidence that they allowed me to have, because
00:30:13they were the only one to pick me up.
