00:00Previously on Mama June Family Crisis,
00:03me and your daddy are not gonna be together anymore.
00:06Now that Ella knows Josh and I are getting a divorce,
00:09we've started the separation process.
00:11Me and Josh are doing this thing called nesting.
00:14He's at the house for a week.
00:15I'm at the house for a week.
00:17So I just made my bed at the warehouse.
00:20I'm just taking it at mom's for a week.
00:22And we've been doing our best to get along
00:24because the kids' well-being is our main priority.
00:27I mean, speaking of Ella starting school,
00:29I'd like to kind of like be a part of that.
00:31It's fine.
00:32I'm also moving into a new warehouse
00:34and only have a week to get out.
00:36This place is so big, we don't even use half of it.
00:40If I can make a little bit of a budget cut here,
00:42then I can have more money to spend on inventory
00:44or more money to pay y'all.
00:45I want to use this chance as like an open opportunity
00:48to try new things and like keep kind of maybe
00:51like the dating pool open, you know?
00:54Who knows?
00:56Even though I'm not ready to tell anyone
00:58what I'm up to, Jessie's been poking her nose
01:01where it doesn't belong.
01:02Where are you going?
01:03Going to a business dinner.
01:05Going somewhere.
01:06There's something going on and I want to know.
01:08I mean, do you know something I don't know that she's dating now?
01:11Meanwhile, Mama planned a quick 24-hour trip to Colorado
01:14to surprise Alana for her and Anna's birthday tribute.
01:17I think Alana's not pissed that we're surprising her,
01:20but you know, she never is Mama P.
01:21Oh, well.
01:23Even though Alana told Mama not to come.
01:25What are y'all even doing here?
01:27It was the perfect way for the family
01:28to celebrate Anna's first birthday without her
01:31and be together.
01:32I felt like, in a way, it was Anna.
01:34The bird just wanted to get up out of my hand and be free.
01:37She was there with us in that moment.
01:39Say papa, Anna.
01:52Look, Mommy.
01:54What?
01:54Mommy, you want to shoot my ground off?
01:57Whoo!
01:58You're getting better.
01:59Hey, hey, hey, don't hit each other.
02:01Mama, look.
02:01Look, Mama.
02:02Sister, I see you.
02:03You did flip.
02:03Mommy, look.
02:04Look, Mama.
02:05Baby, I'm looking at you.
02:06I can't look.
02:10I'm sorry.
02:12I'm sorry.
02:15I'm sorry.
02:15Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo.
02:16I know he hit you.
02:18I'm sorry.
02:19You know, we just got in a few hours ago
02:21from our whirlwind of a trip to Colorado.
02:25And now that I'm back home, it's still Josh's week,
02:27which means he gets bath time,
02:29and I get to enjoy some pumpkin time.
02:38I got everything he's done.
02:48I got to enjoy some eggs.
02:48Do the music.
02:51I got to enjoy some eggs.
02:52Daddy!
02:55I love this.
02:56How's that, baby?
02:58Oh, yeah.
03:00Go give Daddy a hug.
03:01Oh, my gosh.
03:02Everybody have fun in Colorado?
03:04Wow!
03:05Oh my goodness, big old trip for everybody.
03:08Everyone did so good.
03:10Daddy got to pet a dove.
03:11It was so cute.
03:12It was so soft.
03:13Pet a dove?
03:14Yeah, and Gigi let it go.
03:16Remember?
03:16Yeah.
03:17Yeah.
03:19I'm still not used to this whole bird nesting thing.
03:22Like, I feel like a guest in my own house.
03:26But, I mean, I am glad the kids had fun on the trip.
03:29The family trip that I'm, I guess, no longer a part of.
03:34Welcome to my new reality.
03:35Everybody had fun, though, so.
03:38Mommy fixing to go bye-bye.
03:42I am going to go bye-bye.
03:43Sister Naya.
03:44Let me go get my bag, okay?
03:45Okay.
03:46I love you.
03:47Put it on the table.
03:48I love you.
03:49I love you.
03:50I want you more.
03:51I want you more.
03:53I guess call me if you need anything, really, you know?
03:55Where are you going?
03:57Um, to my friends.
03:59Bye, Tinky.
04:01I love you.
04:06Hey, can I come over?
04:09Okay.
04:10I'll be there in a minute.
04:12You know, I do miss my kids when I'm not with them.
04:15I have spent every day with them since they were born.
04:18But with this nesting thing, I do get a couple of days a week for myself.
04:22And I'm not staying at the warehouse every time.
04:37I'm kind of hungry today.
04:38Well, you can use your, uh...
04:41The machine, yeah, because you're just now cracking it out the box.
04:43It's been out the box.
04:45You don't want to use it.
04:46You don't.
04:46Somebody else has got to do it for you.
04:49You just said it was so easy.
04:51It is.
04:53You got to put the ingredients in there, and then it freezes.
04:57So, look.
04:58Here goes the protein that you and Katie P. talk about.
05:02There's so much around the house.
05:04Jemba.
05:05What?
05:06What are you doing?
05:08Trying to figure out what this creamy thing is all about.
05:11What?
05:12Should I leave?
05:13It's a little while.
05:14You know, it's kind of nice to be able to go over to my mama's house when Josh is at
05:18the house with the kids.
05:20But what I will say is do not be inviting me over here, Jemba, when it is you and Justin's
05:25sexy time.
05:26Like, bleh.
05:27No thanks.
05:29It's kind of chunky.
05:30How long are you supposed to stir this?
05:31I don't know.
05:32But no, but no, this machine is going to stir all that.
05:35It just said mix it and then freeze it for 24 hours.
05:39But this little thing is going to whip it.
05:41I know.
05:41After you're done, after it's frozen.
05:43No, it's going to whip it before, baby.
05:45Let me see, Jean.
05:46Let me see.
05:47Because you're blind.
05:50It's browning batter.
05:51It's good.
05:52I guess it's like some protein, something.
05:54Yeah, it's got collagen, so it's going to make you useful.
05:58It ain't that bad.
05:59I love that.
05:59That's one of my favorite ones.
06:00It ain't great either, though.
06:03You're like on a scale of 10 up here.
06:05Protein, protein, protein, protein.
06:06Yes, you had to.
06:07And you had to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight.
06:10How much do you weigh?
06:11194.3 or 4, I think it is.
06:14Oh, I'm 212.
06:15See?
06:16Because you eat all the time.
06:17That big ass is where your weight stays.
06:19Your ass.
06:22I can't help.
06:22I have the biggest don't.
06:24Baby got back.
06:27So how was Josh when you gave the kids back to him after we came back from Colorado?
06:30He was fine.
06:31I'll see him tomorrow for, you know, Ella's first day of school stuff.
06:36Okay, and what about the first day of school?
06:38You're going to drop her ass off?
06:39Well, I know, but it's his days with Ella.
06:42I mean, it's just like Colorado.
06:43Like, I didn't just take the kids and just went to Colorado.
06:47Like, no, I sat there.
06:48I talked to him about it.
06:49Made sure.
06:50Talk about that.
06:50You pull your ass up and take a picture and say, beep, beep, bye-bye.
06:55It's not how that works to you when you're trying to be adults.
06:58I mean, you know, I did mention it to him the other day, and he was cool with it.
07:01So I think I might just ride with him.
07:04What?
07:05Just go together.
07:06Riding together?
07:08I mean, what do we need to take two cars for him?
07:10Because y'all go separate ways.
07:13Because what if you got something to do that day or he's got something to do?
07:16You just going to ride around with him all day long?
07:17No, hell no.
07:18And be kumbaya with him?
07:20No, but he can drop me back off at my car and do his thing.
07:25Mama just doesn't get it.
07:26Every time she's been with a man, she splits with him, and then that's it.
07:30I just think we're just too toxic for each other.
07:32I need to learn to love myself.
07:34I need to stop toxic relationships.
07:37I'm out.
07:39So she's the last person I'll be taking divorce advice from.
07:43I mean, so you really don't think that I should talk to Josh?
07:46No.
07:47Well, you know, that tells me that I need to.
07:49Because if you wouldn't, I would.
07:51Yep, absolutely.
08:07You know, through this whole divorce, our biggest thing is making this process easy for Ella.
08:11And the first day of school has always been pretty big for me and Josh.
08:15We've always made that a big deal for her.
08:16And even though we're almost divorced, literally all we have to do is sign the paperwork,
08:21I feel like the least we could do is make Ella's first day normal.
08:32Josh!
08:33Ella!
08:35Ella!
08:40Ella, great!
08:43We were supposed to be doing this cordial thing and being nice and taking care of the
08:48kids together.
08:48I just don't understand what's going on here.
08:51He knew I was coming and now he's not here.
08:53So what'd you do?
08:54Take Ella to school by yourself?
08:55Because that is not what we agreed on.
09:04Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
09:07What's his name?
09:08His name is Darren.
09:10Ah!
09:12Juma!
09:12You about to get you a new daughter-in-law.
09:15What the hell?
09:16Let me tell you about the tea.
09:19Oh my lovely Lord.
09:22Today is the day that me and Josh are going to make the divorce final.
09:25I really don't even want to go in here and sign these papers if I'm being honest.
09:28Lauren, do you want your maiden name back?
09:39Josh!
09:40Ella!
09:44F***!
09:46So what'd you do?
09:47Take Ella to school by yourself?
09:48Because that is not what we agreed on.
09:55Oh, you ready for school, Ellie?
09:58No.
09:59Your mama's calling.
10:00Hello?
10:01Hey, I thought we agreed to take Ella to school together today.
10:05Hey, listen, dude.
10:07I'm literally pulling down the driveway.
10:08We are taking Ella to school together.
10:11Orange.
10:11God, your mama acts like somebody's going to leave, or...
10:14I just farted.
10:15You just farted?
10:17I want to smell it.
10:18No, I don't, you weirdo.
10:20All righty.
10:24Ella Grace!
10:27I bought you an outfit.
10:28This is an outfit I want to wear.
10:31Okay.
10:32That's cute, too.
10:33But then you can just wear this another time.
10:35Where y'all been?
10:36Uh, we used a big head!
10:39Of course you did.
10:41Well, go get your boot bag and stuff, okay?
10:43Are you gonna want this to drop me off?
10:45Of course I am.
10:46Okay.
10:47Well.
10:48You better hurry so we're not late on the first day.
10:51I don't care.
10:55Wait on Ella Grace, as usual.
10:58Wait, where are the twins at?
10:59Bubbies?
11:00They're with my mama, babe.
11:03Ever since me and Josh split up,
11:05heat slips up and, like,
11:07calls me boo or calls me baby,
11:08and it's like,
11:09eh, I'm not that anymore.
11:11I can't believe I let that fly out of the old mouth
11:14because, um,
11:15calling each other pet names and things
11:17was a normality when we were together,
11:19so things are gonna fly out by accident,
11:24you know?
11:24No harm, no foul.
11:25Did you come in the house?
11:26There wasn't nobody here?
11:27Like, yeah, your truck's not here,
11:29and we agreed to, together, to take...
11:31I took Ella to get breakfast
11:32so she could eat before she went to school.
11:33Well, I'm sorry for, like,
11:35freaking out a little bit.
11:36No, don't.
11:41Mommy and Dad are getting a divorce,
11:43and it doesn't mean that much to me.
11:45Sometimes Mom sleeps here,
11:47and sometimes Mom doesn't,
11:48and sometimes Daddy sleeps here,
11:49and sometimes Daddy doesn't.
11:51One good thing about the first day of school
11:54is that Mommy and Daddy are taking me together.
11:57Because that means I get all of the attention.
12:08Why are you throwing your book bag?
12:10Come on, you ready?
12:11Come on, you ready?
12:12I'm picking up my hair!
12:13Let Mom put you in the back seat.
12:15I don't like school.
12:17Go get in your seat.
12:30Baby, you need to come on now.
12:32You're going to be late
12:33for our little first day of school.
12:36Kayla, I'm going to pack you a good lunch today.
12:40June, ain't nobody going to be late.
12:42Like, we're trying to get up
12:43and get ourselves together.
12:44Like, you're in here rushing everybody.
12:46What are you doing?
12:47Making her a lunch.
12:49Katie P., you in here getting ready?
12:51Yeah.
12:51Curling your hair?
12:52I'm going to try.
12:53You're going to try it?
12:54Can you make you some eggs
12:55before you go to school, Katie P.?
12:57No, thank you.
12:58Yeah, I don't even think she likes eggs, June.
13:01I never have.
13:02Eggs are good for you.
13:03It's nine grand of protein every day.
13:03There you go. Now drop it.
13:04I think it's good.
13:06Here, curl this piece for my back, please.
13:09My hair needs to look skibbity.
13:11Well, listen, I don't know if I speak your language,
13:14but I take my parent duties very seriously,
13:16so we're going to do what we need to do
13:17to get the job done.
13:18Okay, well, don't fry my hair off.
13:21I try not to.
13:23Oh, sure you will.
13:25I mean, Katie P., I got you the favoritest lunch.
13:29All high in protein and good for you.
13:31June.
13:32What the heck?
13:33We don't care about healthy bars.
13:35I'm actually trying to teach Katie P.
13:37that it's not all about chips
13:38and eating junk all the time.
13:40My little thing used to be
13:41is when I look at the menu,
13:43if your dessert menu sucks,
13:45then we ain't eating at this restaurant.
13:46We're picking somewhere else.
13:47I mean, my health suffered because of it.
13:53You'll have to change the way you look at food.
13:56The worst thing that could happen,
13:58I could die.
13:59I want better for myself,
14:00and I want better for Katie P.
14:02Now you can go all the way up
14:04and just pull it down,
14:06and then just twist it up.
14:10Now that one's too messed up.
14:13Y'all better hurry up.
14:14We're hurrying, June.
14:16You got 10 minutes,
14:17you're going 30.
14:19It's been really great here
14:20since, like, we won custody and stuff,
14:23and I'm really happy about that.
14:25But school's finally starting,
14:27and I'm glad it's starting
14:29because I need a break from June's hollering.
14:31Looks good to me.
14:33Grab your boot bag.
14:34Daddy, come on.
14:34Sure.
14:34Where come is June, bud?
14:36Like, you got to give us time.
14:37She has to get ready.
14:39Here, you can show these snacks
14:40with your friends.
14:41Oh, June, you coming to school with me?
14:43No.
14:44You're going to show it
14:44with your friends?
14:44That's what it looks like,
14:45a June lunchbox.
14:47I'll get some school lunch.
14:49Okay.
14:49You don't sound so enthused.
14:52Are you excited about your first day?
15:01Sure.
15:02Oh, you love school.
15:04I hate it.
15:05You don't hate school.
15:06I really, really do.
15:07No, you really, really don't.
15:09Yeah, you know how, like,
15:10Alana's a nurse in school?
15:12Don't you want to be a teacher?
15:13You have to go to school to be a teacher.
15:15You got to have your high school appointment,
15:16then you have to go to college?
15:17No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
15:20You're going to let me walk you in today or not?
15:23No.
15:23No?
15:24No.
15:26I love you.
15:29I love you.
15:31You want me to help you?
15:32No, I got to.
15:34Don't forget your book bag.
15:35Have the best day ever.
15:37Best day ever.
15:38Okay, sure.
15:42Bye, Alana.
15:43Love ya.
15:44Yeah.
15:47Is he into the point now
15:48where she don't want us to walk around with her?
15:51No.
15:51She's getting so big.
15:53She don't want me to love on her no more
15:56and pick her up and give her all kisses and stuff.
16:01She's just like, whatever.
16:05You used to work there.
16:07That building?
16:09Yeah, I remember.
16:10Been around long enough.
16:12I didn't forget.
16:14Yeah, I know you didn't.
16:16Me and Pumpkin were together for 10 years.
16:19It's basically half of our lives,
16:20so doing things like taking Ella to school
16:24makes everything kind of just jumbled up.
16:28You just don't stop loving somebody overnight.
16:30Maybe she's feeling it too.
16:35It's crazy how grown up she is, really.
16:40Yeah.
16:52Well, Mama's fixing to be back home with the kids.
16:54You want to come inside and see the kids?
16:57Well, the kids aren't here right now.
17:02I get it.
17:03Josh still has feelings for me,
17:04but I've been watching our marriage crumble for years.
17:07And when he stopped communicating,
17:09that's when I was really done.
17:11So as much as I love him as a person,
17:13I gradually fell out of love with him
17:15through our really rough patches.
17:18And I don't want to give him any idea
17:20that there might still be something between us.
17:22because I'm just saying, I haven't...
17:24Yeah, I know.
17:24I'm sure you have 100 million things to do.
17:28I'm sure.
17:28I have a business to run.
17:39Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis,
17:43I haven't dated since before Josh,
17:45which was literally 10 years ago.
17:47I'm sure you want to do this.
17:48Oh, he wanted you to come inside.
17:50He wanted to tear that ass.
17:51Ha, ha, no.
17:53It's going to be a lot worse
17:54if he finds out from somebody else.
17:55What did I even say?
17:57Baby, baby.
18:07You know, I'm actually proud of you, Junebug.
18:10You've been getting up,
18:10fixing lunches and fixing breakfast.
18:13Don't get too high on my body now
18:14because it ain't going to happen every day in the morning.
18:16I know, but, you know,
18:17it does say a lot, you know.
18:19So Katie P, all she wants to do is eat junk
18:21and damn, go out to fast food.
18:23But she's going to stop all that, though.
18:25She's going to go home and do her homework.
18:27You're going to be doing that homework
18:29because it's been 30-something years
18:31since I've been out of school.
18:32Well, June, it's been about 20 years
18:33since I've been in school, so I don't know.
18:35Okay, well, tell me what the capital of Maine is.
18:39That's that Des whatever or something like that.
18:42That's Illinois.
18:44Illinois, Chicago.
18:45Chicago, yeah.
18:46What the hell is the Des Moines?
18:48Well, you better get to learn.
18:49You better be studying your damn work up.
18:51I'm going to buy a tutor.
18:52No, we're going to put you on it.
18:53You the math queen.
18:54You know them numbers, girl.
18:56I do.
18:57Well, what's 205 plus 375?
19:05580.
19:05Oh, wow.
19:06You got to do like this with your hands.
19:08You're in the air.
19:09That's how you do math.
19:11Okay.
19:12I mean, whatever works.
19:14I mean, I might not get to see a piece of paper
19:16and see the numbers on a piece of paper,
19:17but, like, my numbers started, like,
19:20when I was back in the couponing days.
19:22I mean, you can count the coupons.
19:23It's like you can count them dollars.
19:25It's like I count them calories.
19:27What are y'all doing?
19:28Yes, she is.
19:29Clipping coupons.
19:30What are you doing?
19:30I mean, I literally have a whole room in my house
19:33dedicated to laundry detergent.
19:35And you know how much I paid for it?
19:37Two.
19:37Whoa.
19:38I like to call myself a gematician
19:40because it's kind of like, you know,
19:42I know the numbers.
19:42I might be blind,
19:43but you ain't going to, like,
19:45get no numbers past me.
19:47No.
19:48Mm-mm.
19:49I really need to stop here at a damn PE.
19:51For what?
19:53To make dinner for the girls.
19:54What you cooking?
19:55Your favorite.
19:57What's that?
19:58Two-needle casserole.
19:59Oh, wow.
20:00Well, let me try to call pumpkin.
20:06What are you doing?
20:09Nothing.
20:09Just at the warehouse, apparently.
20:11What are you doing?
20:12I'm just calling to invite y'all
20:13for, like, dinner tomorrow night.
20:15All right.
20:16You didn't eat a steam pot.
20:18It's brewing.
20:19You can come over here
20:19and spill the damn tea.
20:21I can't stand up.
20:23All right.
20:24Well, I'll see you later.
20:25All right.
20:29So who's all coming over?
20:31I was going by Jessica and pumpkin.
20:32Who many more people would have been by?
20:33What about Cheyenne?
20:35Well, I mean, if she comes, she comes.
20:38Hey, it's Jessica.
20:39Leave a message.
20:42Before we outspend Jessica's money,
20:44you know what I'm saying?
20:45Everything Cheyenne wants to do.
20:48I don't want to hurt Jessica's feelings by no means,
20:51but, I mean, I really hope that her and Cheyenne,
20:53like, run their course, and it ends very soon,
20:56because I cannot stand Cheyenne.
20:58My things with Cheyenne, I mean,
21:00she doesn't let Jessica spend time with her family anymore.
21:03Like, they're always doing stuff for, like,
21:05what Cheyenne wants to do.
21:06Cheyenne is, like, controlling.
21:08She always wants to, as soon as Jessica gets money,
21:11we go on to the local Walmart.
21:14You can't save and be thinking about your future
21:17if all you're doing is spending it as fast as you're making it.
21:20I mean, Cheyenne really wears her pants in that relationship,
21:22because, you know, Jessica never comes around,
21:25Cheyenne never comes around.
21:26But damn sure, like, it's Cheyenne's family.
21:29It's all it's every day.
21:30Yeah, but if you don't like us, that's fine.
21:32You don't have to like us, you know?
21:34You don't have to associate with us.
21:49Hey.
21:55What?
21:56Are you going to help me?
21:57Yeah, I'm coming.
21:59Mm-hmm.
21:59The new place, I am losing some square footage,
22:02but it's half the rent,
22:04and it's just a better location.
22:06Honestly, I can be putting that money
22:08somewhere else in my business.
22:10I wish Jessie would just get her ass here
22:12to just help me with this heavy lifting.
22:14I don't think that's going to fit.
22:15Uh, no, because you didn't clean out your car.
22:18I've been busy, girl.
22:19Mm-hmm.
22:19Busy doing what?
22:21I mean, I had to go to Colorado, you know?
22:25Life is busy.
22:26Well, that's over now,
22:27so why are you still getting distracted on your phone?
22:31Well, you're not telling me something.
22:34You can't lie to me.
22:36I...
22:37Well, it's a friend.
22:41A friend?
22:42You're going to tell me,
22:42and then you're dying to.
22:43Mm-hmm.
22:44Yep.
22:45To be honest,
22:46I've been wanting to spill the tea,
22:48just been waiting for the right moment to do so.
22:51And I mean, what better way to do that
22:53to somebody who doesn't have a big old mouth?
22:56Okay, but listen,
22:57I hadn't told nobody,
22:59because, like, I don't want all this drama.
23:01So, can't tell nobody.
23:03Okay.
23:04Not even Jesse.
23:05Oh, okay.
23:06Um,
23:09I've known him for a really long time.
23:11Mm-hmm.
23:12We were friends back in school,
23:14and then he messaged me on social media,
23:17and then we've just kind of been talking,
23:20and it's kind of nice.
23:22Like, he's sweet.
23:24Like, he just does things for me
23:26without me having to ask.
23:29Like, we go places,
23:30and I do things that, like,
23:31I've never really done before.
23:32Like, I don't really like to go fishing,
23:34but I'll go fishing.
23:35Oh, so you're turning into a country girl.
23:37Yeah, with him.
23:38Ah!
23:40You get a grill.
23:43What's his name?
23:45His name is Darren.
23:47Does he have a criminal record?
23:48No.
23:49Okay.
23:50Girl, I learned that from my mama.
23:53You know, I learned the hard way from mama.
23:56Mama was arrested.
23:59Her ex, Gino, was arrested.
24:03Justin was arrested.
24:07Alana's boyfriend was arrested.
24:11I like my boys without an ankle monitor.
24:15Where's he from?
24:17He's from gray.
24:18Do I know him?
24:19I don't think so.
24:21Mm-mm.
24:22So how long has this been going on?
24:23Not really that long.
24:25It's like nothing serious.
24:26You know, like, I like the conversation.
24:28I like the dates.
24:29I like the sweetness, but...
24:30Just taking it slow.
24:32Right.
24:33Because I mean, I did...
24:33Easing your way back in.
24:34Right.
24:35I knew it.
24:37The only reason I haven't really told anybody
24:39just because it's like a little...
24:42I mean, it's not awkward for me.
24:44I just think it's going to be awkward for other people.
24:47Why?
24:51Um, because...
24:52Darren and Josh.
24:56They're cousins.
25:02Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
25:04Today is the day that me and Josh are going to make the divorce final.
25:09Yeah, I really don't even want to go in here and sign these papers, if we're being honest.
25:12She hasn't come to work.
25:13She hasn't helped us move the warehouse.
25:14But then now she's off in Mexico.
25:17Jessie didn't want to tell us because she probably thought we wouldn't approve.
25:19I think it's about time I tell Jessica what I need to tell her.
25:28The only reason I haven't really told anybody is because I just think it's going to be awkward for other
25:32people.
25:34Why?
25:35Darren and Josh grew up together.
25:38They're cousins.
25:42Oh my God.
25:45No!
25:46They're not blood cousins.
25:50Darren is related to Josh's stepfather, which Josh's stepdad is like a father to him, but there's no blood running.
25:58Not weird, right?
26:00Maybe just a little complicated.
26:02A hundred percent.
26:03So are you going to tell Josh?
26:07I just feel like there's a lot more to discuss with him than my dating life.
26:12You know what I mean?
26:13I don't know if we're quite there yet.
26:15I mean, do you think I should?
26:17For sure.
26:19No.
26:20Me and Josh signed our divorce papers at the end of the week, and I do not want him finding
26:25out about Darren before that.
26:27I definitely think that it's going to upset him, and I don't want to see that reaction.
26:32Well, you seem happy.
26:34Happier.
26:35You deserve to be happy, so I'm happy for you.
26:40Well, thank you.
26:41But you better not tell nobody.
26:43Who am I going to tell?
26:44I don't know.
26:45The person in the mirror.
26:48Need to get the rest of the stuff packed up, though.
26:50Well, it's about damn time.
26:51Get up.
26:53We're almost done.
26:55I know.
27:08What are you even cooking?
27:10It's one of my favorite tuna noodle casserole beside my meatballs.
27:13I mean, I could have made homemade beanie weenies.
27:15No, I would have ate the meatballs.
27:17Kayla, you use literally the iPad like a jail.
27:21You stay 23 hours in your room with the hands on that iPad and only come out here 30 minutes
27:28to eat.
27:28There's not a problem with that.
27:30Well, no, you need a break from the internet.
27:32You definitely do.
27:34Six hours on the weekend, we're going to do three hours in the week.
27:37Yeah, you can't just stay in your room all day.
27:39And if you can't do that, then I will take it from you three hours.
27:40I have rights.
27:42I have rights.
27:43You don't, not as a child, you don't.
27:46Pumpkin is coming over, so you need to come out and socialize.
27:50She's about to drive like, oh, my God.
27:52Oh, my God.
27:55I made it here.
27:58Driveway.
28:04Mama's only got about three good dishes she can cook, and one of them happens to be tuna
28:08noodle casserole, and it's my comfort food.
28:11It is a lot traveling to mama's house out in the sticks, but I mean, I am bouncing from
28:16house to house, so a home-cooked meal from my mama, it'll serve me up right.
28:21Lord, it's such a sand pit here.
28:24You got me some food ready.
28:25Almost, bitch.
28:26I got the eggs done.
28:27Let's see what you got.
28:28You want to do something?
28:29You got to completely drain four of these cans.
28:33So what you're going to do is you got to be in there.
28:34Jen, I know how to drain the cans.
28:35This is a cooking class.
28:37Listen to her.
28:37Listen, you're going to open it up, and you're going to push it down and get all the water out
28:41of four cans, but not two.
28:42You got to push it all the way down, though, Jess, and make sure, okay?
28:45Make sure you get to completely drained.
28:47Yeah.
28:49How was Tink's birthday at school as a family?
28:53I mean, I wouldn't necessarily say, like, a family, but we done it.
28:56It's called co-parenting, do you?
28:58This was awkward, like, he...
29:00Did you call Sparland?
29:01No, we rode...
29:02Tell me how much he loves you.
29:03No, we rode in the car together.
29:06We went to school, come right back to the house.
29:08Like, he asked me if I wanted to come inside because the kids were about to be back, and
29:12I was like, no.
29:13Oh, he wanted you to come inside.
29:15He wanted to tell that ass one time while the kids wasn't there.
29:19No.
29:20He was.
29:21He was trying to get some pumpkin sugar for the pumpkin spice.
29:24It's not pumpkin spice season.
29:26Oh, wow.
29:28Pumpkin.
29:28What?
29:32What is that?
29:36She didn't even tell nobody.
29:37Nobody.
29:41Juma!
29:42What?
29:43You about to get you a new daughter-in-law.
29:49Really?
29:50Jessie proposed to Cheyenne.
29:52What the hell?
29:55Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
29:58I am ready to be bereaved from, like, my marriage.
30:03These times have been super tough on me.
30:05I can't keep it on download forever.
30:07I've only kissed a couple of men in my life, but so far, so good.
30:15Juma!
30:16What?
30:17You're about to get you a new daughter-in-law.
30:22Jessie proposed to Cheyenne.
30:25And they're apparently on a cruise, so...
30:30I mean, I don't want to hurt Jessica's feelings by no means, but I definitely think Jessica can do better
30:35than Cheyenne.
30:36Honestly, Cheyenne, that's all she talks about ever since they've been together.
30:39When we gonna get married?
30:40When we gonna get married?
30:40When we gonna get married?
30:41When we gonna get married?
30:44but I'm sure she'll need somebody
30:45to financially back her for a win.
30:49Bitch, you paid for it.
30:52You're being ridiculous.
30:53Just like the damn engagement,
30:55I don't know that she's on a damn boat.
30:57Good way to tell your boss
30:58this is why you can't hire her full time
31:00because it's like I don't know
31:01she's out in the middle of the ocean
31:02getting proposed to.
31:04I think it's about time I tell Jessica
31:05what I need to tell her.
31:06Yeah, tell her.
31:12Come on, are you going to give me a bite or what?
31:13Here, that's all together.
31:15200 grams of protein.
31:16I got it.
31:20It good?
31:22I think I'm ready.
31:25I usually love
31:26Mama's tuna noodle casserole,
31:28but for some reason,
31:29this right here is definitely nasty.
31:32There's more oil than noodles.
31:34I'm going to get some pizza.
31:36See if I make her favorite meal again.
31:37Like, what the heck?
31:38This has been a day.
31:56Curly Pop, what are you doing?
31:59I'm doing some schoolwork as of now.
32:02You know, that tuna casserole,
32:03Mama always makes.
32:04It's usually good.
32:05It was nasty as hell tonight.
32:06I done had to come
32:08and get some pizza
32:08from somewhere else.
32:10Apparently, there's something
32:11in the air.
32:11June's up tuna casserole.
32:13Then, bitch,
32:14let me tell you
32:16about the tea
32:17I found out today.
32:18Oh, my God.
32:19What did you find out today?
32:20Jessie done posted
32:21on social media
32:22that she, like,
32:23proposed to Cheyenne.
32:25She proposed?
32:26She hasn't come to work.
32:27She hasn't helped us
32:28move the warehouse.
32:29But then now she's off
32:30in Mexico
32:31on a cruise proposing.
32:34If anybody,
32:35I feel like we should have
32:36been the first tonight.
32:37A hundred percent.
32:40Now, if I'm being honest,
32:41I don't really know
32:43that I really like Cheyenne.
32:45Anybody's being completely honest,
32:46I don't think really
32:47any of us like her.
32:48Jessie has been very different
32:50since the day she met Cheyenne.
32:51Yeah, like,
32:52she don't do with us.
32:53It's like,
32:53so you're going to marry somebody
32:54who don't really want
32:55to do things with us?
32:56Oh, my lovely Lord.
33:00I feel like Jessica
33:02just, like,
33:02went and got engaged
33:04out of nowhere
33:04and didn't tell nobody
33:05because I think it's
33:07because she knows
33:07how we feel about Cheyenne.
33:09We don't like the way
33:10that Cheyenne treats Jessie
33:11or we don't like the fact
33:13that Jessie now
33:14doesn't come around as much
33:15that she's with Cheyenne
33:16or she doesn't include
33:17the family in as much.
33:19So I think that's
33:20the big part of, like,
33:21why Jessie didn't want
33:22to tell us
33:23because she probably thought
33:24we wouldn't approve.
33:25I'm not Cheyenne's
33:27biggest fan
33:27and that's really
33:28because I feel like
33:29she keeps Jessie
33:30away from us.
33:31She doesn't want
33:32to do anything with us
33:33and I just have a feeling
33:35that Cheyenne was probably
33:36the one who put Jessie up
33:37to asking me
33:38for Josh's sperm.
33:39I want to talk pumpkin
33:40about me and Cheyenne
33:42possibly having a baby
33:43and using Josh's go-go juice.
33:46What?
33:46She really wants
33:47another baby
33:48and honestly,
33:49I think she'd go
33:50to any measures
33:50to get one.
33:51Well, all right,
33:52girly pop,
33:53you get to study
33:54and my little future
33:55nurse, Lonnie.
33:56Lonnie.
33:56Yeah, girl.
33:58Finals is coming up.
33:59Okay, well, good luck.
34:01I guess TTYL.
34:04TTYL.
34:15TTYL.
34:16Oh.
34:17Tonight is my cute
34:18little date night
34:19with Darren
34:19but it's like
34:21what do I wear?
34:22I've been doing
34:23this mom thing
34:24hardcore for six years.
34:26I can't tell
34:26if that's chocolate
34:27or s***.
34:28That right there
34:29is chocolate.
34:30Usually I got
34:31spit up on my shirt,
34:32some type of food,
34:33some type of juice.
34:34I know I can't
34:35go out like that.
34:36I do love these.
34:39Unfortunately,
34:40skinny jeans are out.
34:41Oh, you're crazy.
34:43Skinny jeans are
34:43definitely still in.
34:45I love a good pair
34:46of skinny jeans
34:47and roll them up
34:48to my ankle.
34:49These are my favorite
34:50though.
34:53I haven't dated
34:54since before Josh,
34:55which was literally
34:5610 years ago.
34:57And back then,
34:58I'd wear a T-shirt
34:59or a pair of shorts
35:00because I mean,
35:00s***, I was 14.
35:10It really is
35:11a lot more
35:12when you're an adult.
35:13Ooh, my lashes
35:14look so long.
35:15But Darren,
35:16like when he texts me,
35:17I get butterflies.
35:19He even stops
35:19to bring me lunch
35:20when I'm at work.
35:21Like,
35:22that's kind of
35:23the way to win
35:23my heart over,
35:24especially with food.
35:27He's 6'3",
35:28he's got brown eyes,
35:30he's got a little
35:30shaggy cut.
35:32What?
35:32Is Darren a good kisser?
35:34No.
35:40Too much.
35:48I've only kissed
35:49a couple of men
35:50in my life,
35:51but so far,
35:52so good.
35:55That's going to get
35:56fit.
36:03I'm breaking out.
36:06I'm breaking out.
36:35Hello.
36:36It's all together in here.
36:38It's coming together.
36:40We got AC.
36:42Oh, and it feels so cool in here.
36:44Paisley is a really good worker.
36:46She got the warehouse moved in today.
36:48She's always busting tail.
36:49I can rely on her.
36:51She's trustworthy.
36:52So that's why I choose to let her know about Darren
36:55because I know she's not telling my business to anybody.
36:58How does the date go?
37:00He's cool.
37:02Mm-hmm.
37:04So it sounds like you really, really like this Darren dude.
37:08It's fun.
37:08I think that, like, we have a good time together and we laugh.
37:13I don't want to rush into anything.
37:16I feel like I did that with Josh.
37:17I've been tied down for 10 years that I just would rather...
37:20Just let loose.
37:21Yeah, just, like, have fun.
37:23Honestly, though, we go out to eat.
37:25We go out of town to eat or get it to go and eat back at the house or whatever.
37:30Well, it is a small town.
37:32That's what I'm saying.
37:33Everybody be talking, right?
37:34Ugh, I hate it.
37:36Everybody's in your business.
37:38I can't keep it on the down low forever.
37:40Like, what am I going to do?
37:41Just never go out and eat?
37:42Never go out on a date?
37:43In a sense, that's where I feel like I still let, like, other people control my life, you know?
37:48Because I'm having to keep it on the down low.
37:52Well, when are you planning on telling him?
37:55It's going to be a lot worse if he finds out from somebody else before he finds out from you.
37:59What did I even say, basically?
38:13Well, you know, today is the day that me and Josh are going to make the divorce final, and I
38:21am ready to be, you know, free from, like, my marriage.
38:27And for me, that's, like, being able to do what I want to do, going and hanging out with my
38:31friends.
38:32Like, I am okay.
38:35So, let's just hope we can just be done with this part.
38:42Today has to be the hardest day of my life, for sure.
38:45Leaving something I thought I'd have for the rest of my life is, um, not the best feeling in the
38:50world.
38:50And these times have been super tough on me, and I'm sure it's vice versa in some weird way for
38:58her, too, but...
39:01Yeah, I really don't even want to go in here and sign these papers, if we're being honest.
39:25Nice of you to show up.
39:28Yep.
39:30Sure you want to do this?
39:33Yeah, you know, I think it's probably what's best.
39:38Oh.
39:43You know, now that we're almost to the finish line of the divorce, I am a little nervous, because, again,
39:48Josh could still flip it all and be like, no, I don't want to do this civil, I don't want
39:53to do it this way.
39:54So, I'm just hoping we can get these papers finalized and just be done with it, and then he can
39:59find out about the boyfriend later.
40:00Hey, Lauren.
40:02Hey, Josh.
40:03Hi.
40:04How are y'all?
40:05Doing okay.
40:07Good.
40:08Um, we're here today to sign the paperwork that I've prepared.
40:12Okay.
40:13I'm going to get Sasha to notarize it for you, the signature, so don't sign it until she comes in.
40:25It's a feeling to know that I now have to focus on just solely myself and just the kids and
40:34figure out what I'm going to do in life to keep everybody comfortable and to continue to live the way
40:37I have lived, even without the person that I thought I was going to be with the rest of my
40:40life.
40:41It's not a comforting feeling.
40:43The loneliness part of it sucks.
40:47Hate's a strong word, and I hate everything I'm having to go through.
40:52Every bit of it.
41:11Thank you very much.
41:13You're very welcome.
41:16Lauren, I forgot to ask you, do you want your maiden name back, or do you want to keep it
41:21Ifrid?
41:25Um, I'll probably take my name back.
41:28What do you want me to have your name to be?
41:30Um, it would just, the last name would be Shannon.
41:33I mean, I didn't really think that I'd have to answer these type of questions in front of Josh.
41:39Too soon.
41:41All right.
41:42I'll have that put in the divorce decree.
41:45Okay.
41:46All righty.
41:47Well, thank you so much.
41:49Mm-hmm.
41:49You bet.
41:50Have a good day.
41:50Have a good day.
41:51All right.
41:51Y'all too.
42:06I mean, you good?
42:07You want to talk about anything?
42:12You know, I really don't think I have anything else to talk about today, Miss Shannon.
42:19Hmm.
42:25Hmm.
42:28Hmm.
42:29Hmm.
42:30Mm-hmm.
42:32Number nine.
42:32Hmm.
42:32Jonah.
42:32Hmm.
