The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Registration and Business Services) of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) was again brought before the Shah Alam Sessions Court on Friday (March 13) to face three charges of receiving money totalling RM13,000 without consideration from a technology entrepreneur about eight years ago.

Khuzairi Yahaya, 55, had pleaded not guilty before Judge Awang Kerisnada Awang Mahmud.

On Thursday, Khuzairi pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court to a charge of receiving RM50,000 without consideration from the son of former Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, eight years ago.

00:31from Big Data Works Sendirian Berhad, CEO, Shariza Zakaria, without any return,
00:39even though he knew Shariza had official dealings with him as a civil servant.
00:43The offences under Section 165 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum two years jail,
00:50a fine, or both upon conviction, were allegedly committed at several locations
00:55around Kota Damansara and Mutiara Damansara between July 2017 and June 2018.

01:08Muaz Ahmad Khairuddin to transfer the three charges to the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for trial
01:14after the prosecution informed the court that Kuzairi was also charged in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
01:19On Thursday, Kuzairi had pleaded not guilty to a charge of receiving RM50,000 without consideration
01:27from opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamza Zainuddin's son, allegedly committed at the commission's
01:33headquarters in May 2018.
01:37Sessions Court Judge Susanna Hussin set bail at RM15,000 with passport impoundment and monthly
01:44reporting to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
01:47The case has been fixed for mention on April 20th.
