00:14Magistrate N. Sivasangari granted the order in Magistrate's Court in Ayer Kero following
00:20an application by the Malacca Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, MACC.
00:25Sources said the suspects, aged 32 to 52, were arrested on Wednesday when they went to
00:32the MACC Malacca office to give statements.
00:35They allegedly submitted supply work documents from six companies to claim 139,100 ringgit
00:42for food and beverage services that were never delivered.
00:47MACC Malacca Director Adi Supyan Shafi confirmed the arrests and remand, saying the case is
00:53being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
