00:07some golf and look ahead to the arnold palmer invitational this week what's going on brady
00:12great to catch up with you cognizant classic going on in my neck of the woods here a little
00:16bit of another surprise winner on the tour i guess we're getting used to that aren't we
00:20yeah and unfortunately not so much of a surprise to see shane lowry melt down at the end of the
00:27cognizant classic i mean we have seen him you know kind of unravel when he should have had that
00:33tournament in hand at least a couple times if not more now i i feel bad for the guy um
00:39and a lot of
00:40people are jumping right back on him this week at the arnold palmer where he's had success before
00:46he's been great on the florida swing uh for the last handful of years or so uh but a lot
00:52of people
00:52banking on a rebound for shane lowry after that really tough loss last week yeah and uh you know
00:59that's the thing is that brady why why does this happen with lowry so often i know people were
01:02pointing it out on social media giving him a hard time but what do you think it is about his
01:06game that
01:06doesn't lead him to put it away i don't know you know people talking about you know he's been great
01:12in the writer cup when he has that support of teammates the last time he won on the pga tour
01:18was in a
01:18in a team event with rory mcelroy he hasn't won since he won the open championship a major at royal
01:26porch rush in 2019 that's the last individual win that he has and you know i i think once he
01:33is able
01:34to do it again that will free him up quite a bit but boy getting there looks like it's going
01:40to be
01:40awful difficult i mean he had a three shot lead with what three holes left to play last week
01:45crazy and it's crazy it's a number of balls in the water yeah that was pretty shocking
01:52yeah it was uh all right so on to the arnold palmer invitational they used to call this bay hill
01:56of course in orlando where scotty scheffler is once again the favorite so let's take a look at the odds
02:00board scotty at plus 350 we have rory at 10 to 1 fleetwood 20 to 1 and then we go
02:05beyond that for
02:06some potential long shots here brady how do you see this course this week and let's get into some of
02:11the potential winners well it's once again that situation where you have scotty and rory so short
02:18at the top that you're getting a lot of nice prices on some of the very best players in the
02:24world you
02:24know this is a signature event there's only 72 people in the field uh there will be a uh 36
02:31hole cut
02:31where the top 50 in ties will make it and also anybody within 10 shots of the lead just like
02:37we saw
02:38a couple weeks ago at riviera another big boy tournament a lot of a lot of big boy golf going
02:43on right now you know pebble and then riviera here at arnie's place the players championship next week
02:49the masters is right around the corner um i did not land on scotty he's won here twice i know
02:56some
02:56sharp people like him this week but you know i think you can almost pick anybody else on the board
03:02and get really good value because like i say when those two guys at the top are in the field
03:07it really inflates some of the numbers on the rest of the guys yeah and and i think in this
03:12tournament
03:13in particular you're getting some of the best golfers brady in the world at this point so as we dive
03:17into some of the odds and some of the players that you like when you handicap this event specifically
03:22what are you looking for it's one of those situations craig where you've got to do everything
03:28well kind of like a major championship um the fairways are narrow the greens are huge they're
03:34firm they're fast you're gonna have to chip you're gonna have to putt you're gonna have to hit the
03:38long irons i mean you got to do everything well here and i went with tommy fleetwood at 20 to
03:431
03:44uh not many people in the world doing everything better than he is right now i played hideki matsuyama
03:50now he's been a little bit loose off the tee everything else has been uh money but if he can
03:56get the
03:57driver figured out this week i think he's going to be in the mix i think he's one of the
04:01few people
04:01in the world that can challenge scotty scheffler and we've seen him do it before uh and then matt
04:07fitzpatrick has been as hot as anybody right now he's a very popular pick this week which scares me a
04:13little bit but fitz has been playing great so fleetwood fitzpatrick and matsuyama and then a couple
04:19of longer bombs on robert mcintyre and nikolai hoygaard who seem to make a lot of sense to me
04:26here this week there's a lot of connection with success in lynx golf and british opens and the
04:33scottish open and playing over across the pond in the wind you're familiar with the wind in the
04:38florida area of course craig and and both uh robert mcintyre and nikolai hoygaard have really excelled in
04:45that environment so i think uh that can transfer over here at bay hill all right well brady good
