00:08But like the storyline of why it was so cool is that a third time PGA Tour start in Jackson
00:16Koivin, who broke every single record in amateur golf, just about outside of what Tiger Woods
00:22accomplished winning all those U.S.
00:24Juniors and U.S. Ams like this is like one of the most heralded amateur players coming
00:28into pro golf and now all of a sudden has a chance to win on the PGA Tour in his
00:33third
00:33start and try to fend off Scotty Shepard.
00:37Like this is a storyline, guys.
00:38When we looked at 2028 and we and we look at the PGA Tour U system, it's like, are are
00:44they
00:45going to be sending that first player in the standings to the championship series to where
00:50they immediately get into the into what is like an event where they're going up against
00:57the best players?
00:57Because like I just wonder, like, is that something that they're going to send straight
01:03into the middle of the season on?
01:04I don't know what the answer is, but that I think the huge argument of of the PGA Tour
01:09moving forward is like this kind of rocked this week, right?

01:15Well, I mean, I think that's interesting because what Jackson I'm curious to hear more
01:20from you, Jackson, on just the size of the crowds.
01:22You already kind of noted, but the size of the crowds this year relative to past years.
01:25But I hadn't even thought about, I definitely thought about the possibility that the threesome
01:30Jackson describes, Sheffield and Matsuyama and M, potentially all three of those guys are
01:34playing on the championship series.
01:35You don't even get that pairing this week because it's a challenger series.
01:39I hadn't even registered with me the possibility that a guy like Jackson Koivin isn't there
01:42either because he's the first place on the PGA Tour U and he's straight up to that series.
01:47So, I mean, you know, I just, it's interesting, Jackson, just because you talk about the golf
01:52starved nature of that region and you got to imagine they're still going to turn out
01:57for the event no matter what.
01:59But it is tough to, when you see a week like you just saw, to think about like what happens
02:04when you don't have all that star power that are willing to go and want to go even after
02:08a major championship.
02:10Absolutely.
02:10I think, you know, last year I thought it was the best field that we had had.
02:15Obviously this year was, was different because of the Scotty situation, but, and that was,
02:22that was the other thing too.
02:23You saw all these storylines kind of come together.
02:26You saw the youngsters who you've been waiting to see their name pop up near the top of these
02:32leaderboards.
02:33You saw the guys who should be at the top of the leaderboards there as well.
02:37And you see this like brilliant, like meshing of, of these two types of different ends of
02:43talent that just, it doesn't happen in a lot of places.
02:47And, you know, I just hope, I just hope things like that and competitions like that don't
02:52go by the wayside.
