00:00The to outright win the Ryder Cup was interesting because they have the odds listed to win the Ryder Cup, but also to lift the trophy.
00:08So essentially what they're saying is the USA is minus one forty five to win and to lift the trophy, whereas Europe is plus one fifty to win, but only plus one fifteen to lift the trophy.
00:17Because all that means they'd have to have fourteen fourteen.
00:20They'd retain it because they are the holders.
00:21So soccer bet this, you know, anytime you've ever bet on the World Cup and you start to figure out a weight, a draw is an option.
00:30Wait, OK, hold on.
00:33I'd never get to bet on a tie, but it seems kind of cool.
00:37Well, it is plus plus eleven thousand this week for for the the the to tie for these two teams to tie.
00:44And of course, I mean, Europe will lift the trophy.
00:46We talked eleven thousand plus eleven hundred or eleven hundred.
00:51Yeah. Yeah. I was like, whoa, that's pretty good odds.
00:54You know, I would I would advise that with how toast or how closely contested this Ryder Cup looks to be.
01:01Yeah, we're established as a bad math pod.
01:03I'm learning right now. We're bad reading pod today as well.
01:05And then we talked a little bit about the two formats, foursomes and four ball.
01:09And as assumed that the United States is.
01:13Well, it's actually interesting.
01:14The United States is plus one fifteen to win foursomes and Europe's plus one thirty five.
01:19But that is the one sort of format in which they're there.
01:23It's like positive odds where they're negative.
01:25They're minus one oh five for the four ball Europe's plus one sixty five.
01:28So essentially what's illustrating is that they believe you're up as we believe as well.
01:31We'll play better in foursomes and we'll play and the Americans will play better in four ball.
01:35A couple of other interesting ones out here.
01:39Biggest winning margin.
01:40Think back to twenty twenty three in the old nine and seven.
01:44Lou Viggo Berg and Victor Hovland put on Scotty Scheffler and Brooks Koepka.
01:48So the winning biggest winning margin for four holes plus one fifty five five plus one seventy six holes plus four fifty three holes plus thirteen hundred seven holes.
01:59If you if you would have nailed that in Rome plus three plus thirty thousand.
02:04Well, I can't really know plus three thousand.
02:06Holy smokes.
02:07We're having a reading meltdown right now.
02:09Plus three thousand eight plus holes plus thirty five hundred.
02:13So if you feel like we're going to see another lopsided match this week, there's kind of something you can sample on.
02:20And then this is probably my favorite line they offer right now is the winner without Scheffler matches where the USA is minus one oh five and Europe's plus one ten, which I was having trouble understanding at first.
02:31But I think it's literally let's say Scotty plays five sessions.
02:34You're effectively saying what happened in the other with the other twenty three points.
02:39You're just taking those matches out of play.
02:41So what was that line?
02:44It's USA's minus one oh five and Europe is plus one ten.
02:48Hmm. So, you know, I'm not sure which way to go on that.
02:53OK, so here's where I want to get into just some of your analysis here and thoughts on who's going to play well in this thing.
02:58So top point score rods.
03:00I'm going to go through every player on both sides and then just get your thoughts on who you think is going to win the most points this week at Beth Pages.
03:06Scotty's shortest odds plus three.
03:07I think when you look before you give me all the odds, I think you have to start with is who do you know is going to play four matches?
03:13You have to start there, right?
03:15Because it'd be silly to ever pick a player.
03:19Oh, well, this person has really good upside.
03:20But if he's only playing three matches that 100 percent, it's a nonstarter.
03:25Well, if you look at the end of that list, yeah, you got Rasmus Woldegard plus nine thousand.
03:29Sepp Strzokka plus eight thousand.
03:30Shane, sixty five hundred.
03:32Justin Rose, six thousand.
03:34Harris English plus four thousand.
03:36JJ plus four thousand.
03:38Justin Rose is plus six thousand.
03:40evangelist.
03:42Good work.
03:44Amen.
04:01Amen.
