00:00Wolf Alice, welcome to the Brits. What's it like to be here?
00:03It's amazing. It's really fun. It's quite overwhelming, but we're buzzing to be here.
00:07Yeah, you came here at the height of it. It's very, very busy right now.
00:11Oh, really? Okay, yeah. Good. We get to do a little bit of people watching in between interviews, so it's
00:15fun.
00:16And congrats on the massive response to the clearing.
00:19Did you sort of feel that brewing when you were getting ready to put the album out?
00:23Did you know it was going to go down so well?
00:26I think you're always worried and nervous and excited and all these different things.
00:30We try to push ourselves quite a lot with this record.
00:33And yeah, I don't think you know what's going to happen at all.
00:36That's part of the excitement and the fear of constantly making music and developing as a band.
00:41But we're really happy. We've had some amazing experiences.
00:44That tour we did at the end of last year was like a top-tier highlight for us as a
00:48band.
00:49So we saw you at Glastonbury. Now you're here at the Brits.
00:51And then you've got Finsbury Park, which everyone is very, very excited about.
00:56How are you feeling going into that?
00:58How are you feeling about playing Finsbury Park, Sean?
01:00I'm very excited. I'm not nervous yet. Amazing line-up.
01:03Dream come true to play there. Very happy.
01:07So how did you go about choosing the supporting acts?
01:15What does an artist have to have for them to stand out to you?
01:22Well, we went to see The Last Inner Party, didn't we, in L.A. when we were there?
01:26And they just put on such a fantastic show.
01:29I think we thought maybe, we were like, I think someone said, oh, you should ask The Last Inner Party.
01:34And we were like, nah, they'll never do it. They'll never do it.
01:37We're so happy they are, because they're amazing.
01:39They're one of the best live bands. They're so tight, so musical.
01:42They're two great records.
01:44It's so special to be able to choose a line-up that means so much to us as music lovers.
01:48And we go to shows, like, to be able to, like, curate something like that is really important to us.
01:52And it's going to be really fun.
01:54And then, last question, of course, Harry Styles is like the man of the hour at the minute.
01:58What was it like for you to work with him?
02:00Does he work really effortlessly?
02:04Yeah, it was, I mean, I was chuffed to be able to go to his studio and listen to some
02:11of the songs
02:11and put down some harmonies. It was a real pleasure.
02:13And, yeah, I'm looking forward. I actually haven't heard the whole album in its entirety,
02:19so I'm looking forward to it.
