00:00And if you look in the book of Revelation, in the chapter 13, which deals with the coming of the
00:05Antichrist, or the beast,
00:09chapter 13 of Revelation, verse 1, it says,
00:11Then I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea,
00:14having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his head a blasphemous name.
00:21Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear,
00:25his mouth like the mouth of a lion.
00:27Those images actually which come from the book of Daniel.
00:30And there's a connection between the passage from Daniel chapter 7 and chapter 13 of Revelation,
00:35and that somehow this spirit of Antichrist, this spirit of the beast, is going to come out of a troubled
00:40sea,
00:40out of humanity in rebellion against God.
00:43And it says the dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
00:46So the ultimate source of this authority, this anti-God, anti-Christ spirit,
00:51is coming from one who's the dragon, who is another interpreted in the Bible as being the devil.
