“Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Daniel 9:24-26

00:00We're living in very tumultuous times, events taking place, particularly in the land of Persia or Iran, affecting Israel and
00:10affecting the whole world.
00:13I just watched a talk by a man called Britt Gillette, who's an American prophecy teacher, and he said, quote,
00:21We're watching nothing less than a live unfolding catastrophe in the Middle East with life-altering consequences for everyone on
00:27the planet.
00:28The greatest energy shock the world has ever seen, even if the war stops tomorrow, results are bad and some
00:35are irreversible.
00:38Well, on the 14th of March, Donald Trump claimed victory, saying he destroyed Iran's air force, navy and underground missile
00:46silos and decapitated much of its leadership, also its nuclear sites.
00:53Put out terms for Iran to surrender with a promise to rebuild Iran and make it bigger, better and stronger
00:59than ever before.
01:02On the 21st of March, when I was writing this article, which I'm writing for the Light for Last Days,
01:07there's no sign of victory.
01:09Iran has hit back intensifying its attacks on Israel and oil and gas natural facilities around the Gulf,
01:16raising the stakes in a war that is sending shockwaves throughout the global economy.
01:21Yesterday, 150 people were injured in Israel.
01:24They've hit the Tel Aviv railway station, Haifa oil refinery, and even Jerusalem.
01:30In fact, the rocket, which was, I think, intercepted over Jerusalem, fragments fell not too far from the holy site,
01:38from the Western Wall,
01:39and from the Dome of the Rock, even.
01:43One wonders what will happen if they'd actually hit the Dome of the Rock.
01:46There were some fragments which all fell on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
01:50So, the old city of Jerusalem's even been under attack.
01:55They also launched missiles yesterday at Arad in the south and at Dimona.
02:01Dimona is the site of Israel's nuclear reactor, nuclear power station.
02:05If they actually hit the nuclear power station, it could have caused a nuclear disaster.
02:12We also see that, in the present time, Israel is being blamed by many for the situation,
02:16and it's going to lead to much more hostility to Israel in the days to come, that's for sure.
02:24Apart from that, the strikes have sent the fuel prices soaring, as you may have noticed if you filled your
02:29car up recently.
02:30They've drawn Iran's Arab neighbours directly into the conflict, and Iran is targeting energy production in the region
02:39and putting its stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world's oil and natural gas
02:45is transported.
02:47Also, a third of the world's fertilisers go through that strait, and the present-time disruption of the fertilisers means
02:55that the crops will not be needed for the crops which are being planted at the present time in many
03:04nations.
03:05They also find a missile at the Diego Garcia base, which is 2,500 miles away from Iran, and it's
03:13believed that they have a missile which is capable of flying 4,000 miles, which could, in theory, hit London.
03:20So, these are the things happening right now.
03:23Probably the major thing which is affecting the world is the attack on the oil supplies, energy in particular,
03:33and if that continues, it could create a global recession as supply chains dry up and factories can no longer
03:41operate and prices go through the roof.
03:44Now, the US has just attacked the Iran's Karg Island, through which 90% of Iran's oil exports go, and
03:52Israel also hits the Paz gas field,
03:55which is the world's largest natural gas field, shared by Iran and also by Qatar.
04:01It contains roughly one-third of the world's known reserves, accounting for 10% of natural gas, global gas production,
04:08serving as a critical 90% of Iran's domestic electricity.
04:14Yesterday, I think, was it the day before, Donald Trump threatened to hit Iran's power stations in 48 hours if
04:21they don't open the Straits of Hormuz.
04:24I think that time runs out tomorrow.
04:27Iran has said if they do that, then they will hit all of the infrastructure, the fuel and energy infrastructure,
04:34in the neighborhood, hit information technology, desalination infrastructure, belonging to the US and the regime and its allies, will be
04:42targeted.
04:44They hit those things, especially the desalination plants, which the Gulf states actually rely on for their fresh water,
04:50would be catastrophic for the region.
04:54They hit the Qatar gas field, which knocked out 17% of Qatar's LNG capacity,
05:03and it says that they won't be able to repair that for another five years.
05:08Qatar is actually supplying gas to the whole world.
05:14So far, 39 energy sites across nine countries have been damaged,
05:19and the infrastructure that took decades and billions of dollars to set up is being destroyed in three weeks of
05:24war.
05:25They're not telling you all of this in the news, but this is actually happening.
05:29It's affecting shipping, with traffic in the Straits of Hormuz nearly halted,
05:34major carriers of suspended services, leaving thousands of ships, including oil tankers, stalling or rerouting,
05:41causing soaring insurance costs, delayed deliveries, disruptions to the global energy and cargo supply chains.
05:49Currently, Saudi is sending its oil across the country to a port which is on the Red Sea side of
05:57the country,
06:01and they're getting oil out through that, so it can't go through the Hormuz.
06:07There's a danger that the Houthis who are in Yemen may join the war and start hitting tankers in the
06:11Red Sea
06:12and close that strait as well, in which case the whole of the oil coming out of that region
06:17is going to be cut off to all of us.
06:21I think that may have a bit of an effect upon the world economy, upon how things are going.
06:30Another little detail I've found out, helium is extracted from natural gas, which comes largely from Qatar.
06:38It evaporates if you store it, so you can't store it for long, so it's got to get to its
06:42destination and be used.
06:44Prices are surging.
06:47It's vital for various pieces of production, including the semiconductors, which are made largely in South Korea and Taiwan,
06:54and are the basis of all modern electronic devices, including smartphones, computer chips, etc.
07:00If that breaks down, then you're going to have a breakdown in the whole supply chain
07:03for most of the high-tech things which we use today.
07:11Also, there are some fears that it could go nuclear.
07:13Russia claims that Israeli missiles landed close to the nuclear power station at Bushair in Iran.
07:19Israel has a nuclear plant at Dimona, and Iran sent missiles to Dimona yesterday.
07:28Could it affect Britain?
07:32This is what I got off the news site.
07:34It says, Britain has conducted a simulation exercise to discover how the blockade could affect exports
07:40worth up to $1.2 trillion.
07:44UK has the biggest exposure to the supply chain of any country in Europe.
07:48Britain imports $12 billion through the Straits of Hormuz each year.
07:51Britain won't be able to substitute its liquefied gas supply in the short term, driving up prices for consumers.
07:59The UK may have to start rationing fuel due to shortages.
08:03The Times cited industry experts reporting that the government will have to protect the food supply,
08:11the hospitals and schools and transport systems,
08:13so they'll have to cut back on what may be, to them, unnecessary travel, including your cars and my cars.
08:21In other words, they could end up with rationing of fuel.
08:28Now, these things could happen fairly quickly.
08:31There's a moment there's enough there.
08:33Fuel is still coming in.
08:34The tankers which left three weeks ago, sorry, still on the way.
08:38They'll arrive, but no tankers are going out now.
08:40So these things are going to accumulate within two, three months.
08:44You're going to see things happening which will affect the whole situation.
08:49An article in the Daily Mail said what would happen in Britain if oil goes up to $200 a barrel.
08:57Quote, blackouts and economic paralysis, empty supermarket shelves, petrol and diesel rationing, riots.
09:04As oil prices soar to unprecedented heights, Britain is on the brink of the worst energy crisis in our history.
09:09The International Energy Agency has already described it as the worst ever crisis to hit the oil market.
09:16Experts across the political spectrum are warning that this is just the beginning.
09:20Oil is the lifeblood of the global economy.
09:23If it stops flowing, the inevitable effect is no different from what happens to the human body
09:29when it hemorrhages, dizziness, collapse, cardiac arrest and death.
09:35We've worked on the basis that the government will be able to maintain some sort of control throughout.
09:41In reality, even if that assumption might be too optimistic.
09:45Unless politicians can keep the grip, the chaos ahead could be too appalling to contemplate.
09:53I don't want to depress you too much, but that is happening.
09:56And I think generally they don't want you to know that, but it's happening.
10:01And whether you hear it now or later, you're going to hear it sooner or later.
10:06And these things are building up.
10:08And we're going to have to start thinking about how we're going to adapt our lives to changing situations.
10:15One of which, maybe it's difficult to travel.
10:19So, how that's going to affect us here at the bridge, obviously, a minor thing in comparing it with the
10:24whole world situation.
10:25But it's something which you're going to have to think about in the days to come.
10:29Now, one of the interesting things I picked out from that quote from the Daily Mail was it said,
10:33Oil is the lifeblood of the global economy.
10:37If you choke it off, then the...
10:40Like if you choke off your bloodstream, your body's going to die.
10:43Choke off the oil, then the system is going to die.
