00:38frankie last week you had the jets taking david billy uh at number two and then the uh guard from
00:45penn state who i still can't pronounce his name uh i had the giants taking carnell tate at five
00:51ohio state wide receiver for those who don't know who he is yep at 2.0 though we're here to
00:57piss some
00:57people off of our mock draft this time i don't want to do what i'm about to do at two
01:03but however i think
01:06it's the most realistic pick for the jets at two obviously mendoza is going one yep all right yep
01:12yeah okay so we'll just go ahead let's just go let's go on the they're on the clock the the
01:16raiders we
01:17don't see that pick changing unless something drafts drastic happens so the raiders fernando
01:22mendoza his weird speech that he makes when he goes up there uh at you know even though dan orlovsky
01:28said that he looked at ty simpson's film and he had a better first half than fernando mendoza but for
01:34all sakes and purposes i don't think ty simpson's the first thing you're trying to push that guy on
01:38everybody man this dude is like you're ty simpson wingman when it comes to this draft yeah all right
01:44you darren muji and aaron glenn are now on the clock who the jets taking at two well the jets
01:53today traded jermaine johnson the tennessee titans for tavondre sweat um you know you're gonna get some
02:00really good defensive tackle depth there now what do the jets need the jets need an edge
02:05i love david bailey that'd be the pick that i would make but i think for all intents and purposes
02:12the jets at two will take the most versatile player in this draft either side of the football
02:19it's arvel reese arvel reese is an off-ball linebacker but in the nfl and specifically
02:27with what the jets want to do with these hybrid three four fronts however you want to describe it
02:31he's going to be someone as an outside linebacker edge he's going to cause havoc he's going to cause
02:36havoc from the day he steps on a football field you can do things with arvel reese like delayed
02:41blitzes he's a heat seeking missile i call him um sideline to sideline speed he could really do
02:49anything on a football field i feel like you could play him anywhere on a football field literally
02:52he's got some issues in coverage um as do most linebackers though let's be honest um i don't
03:00know how he will translate as an every down edge never play with his hand in the dirt and some
03:05guys
03:05don't von miller never played with his hand in the dirt either so you know it's not bad about that
03:10but um i think when the jets look at that tape and when he gets through his workouts at the
03:15combine
03:16he's his stock's already up it's going to keep going up and the draft basically starts at two
03:22i think when it's all said and done the jets are going to take arvel reese at two all right
03:26so here's
03:26my question to you because you traded away probably one of my favorite players on that roster in jermaine
03:33johnson know he was coming back from the achilles injury kind of had a down year he that it factored
03:39that
03:39he had before the injury we can all agree it wasn't there no what is arvel reese going to give
03:46you on day one that jermaine johnson coming back in the second year after second year removed that
03:53off of this achilles injury what is our arvel reese going to give you that jermaine johnson can't give
03:58you in this aaron glenn defense now not steve wilks aaron glenn's defense actual speed actual
04:05sideline to sideline jermaine johnson has sideline to side not like arvel reese i'm telling you man
04:11they want somebody talk to i think what they want to do is they want to put will mcdonald on
04:16one side
04:17who does have that kind of speed and then put another guy on the other side you want to shut
04:21down those halves you have will on one side arvel on the other good luck trying to get outside the
04:26pocket there jermaine lost a little bit of a step with that achilles now i think he could gain it
04:31back
04:31but it just wasn't working out that's why last show i was telling you they need to turn jermaine
04:36johnson into more of a three-tech justin tuck kind of guy playing more inside he lost that outside step
04:43man that extra that edge he didn't have it you must have been in the church you must have been
04:48with
04:48aaron glenn and darren muji when y'all called jermaine and was like hey man i got an idea let's
04:53let's bump
04:54you into that three technique and he said coach darren frankie trade me get me up out of here because
05:01no way i'm playing not every down not every down but but i get it so you mentioned will mcdonald

05:06i like him i don't love him like he's i've seen i feel like i've seen his ceiling already and

05:14year and i know it's hard to judge these players sometimes in a down year i think that steve
05:19wilk's defense was absolutely it was it was atrocious it didn't live up to what we thought they were going
05:24outside of that what four sack game that will mcdonald had correct me if i'm wrong he really
05:32didn't do much throughout the course of the entire year so where is your premier pass rusher now
05:37yeah i think will mcdonald has to transition exclusively to an off ball kind of outside
05:45linebacker like arville reese okay i think they have to play somewhat i think you got to stand will
05:51mcdonald up i think the i think putting him as like a traditional defensive end or having him play
05:55a five tech at times this wide nine kind of thing over and over again get that out of the
06:00way put him
06:01stand him up he can move he's he's twitchy he's got burst um i think doing unique things with him
06:08literally this same kind of things ironically you'd want to do with arville reese so i think the game
06:14plans you want to do with will you can do with arville you have two chess pieces there defenses and
06:18quarterbacks are going to be a little confused but i like the thought of will mcdonald if you bring
06:23in arville reese now will's got to get better he's got to get bigger he's got to get stronger
06:29but i don't know if the schemes really fit up to what he can do listen when you have four
06:32sacks in
06:33a game there's only two other jets that have done that it's john abraham and it's mark gaston
06:36i mean you're in good company there there's something there yeah now you want to have that take that
06:42next step take that next step in the greatness and and you want that over and over again okay so
06:46here's a problem put you see it put your gm hat on again now all right just like you know

07:34chance that now you got to trade this guy because now you want arville reese to come in well think
07:39about it this way also the jets brought in another defensive tackle right will mcdonald is a liability
07:45in the run game they run it his way a lot if you can't set the edge if you can't
07:51set that front you
07:52can't hold your ground we're standing you up now it's not your choice anymore if you're not able to
07:57get in the trenches and you get moved around a little bit we got to start playing around a little
08:00bit and do some things i think the jets i like the thought of bringing another d tackle get the
08:05rotation and stand will up a little bit i haven't played a little bit of off ball too at times

08:09use them use them like you would use arville i got a man-to-man trade for you since you
08:14want that
08:14since you want that thick edge that's going to play the run it's going to put his face in it
08:21with the what if the giants go we'll give you cave on for will mcdonald straight up would you make
08:27that trade no what i'm not making that trade you just said you wanted a proven defensive end that can
08:34play the run they'll run the ball at will mcdonald someone that i would move them out of there but
08:39i listen it's going to take some time to rebuild this defense i i listen cave on to me we're

08:45to get into the giants obviously right now soon but um cave on is is i don't know where his
08:51head's
08:51at i don't know i i feel like he's sometimes he's in it sometimes he's out of it i i

08:57mcdonald is is a baller for all intents and purposes like i really like what he brings to the game
09:02and i've seen these four sack games cave on i don't know man i wouldn't be surprised if he's
09:08just you know in a rotational role okay cave on was he was off to a pretty solid start at
09:12the beginning
09:13of the season then he got hurt and then obviously you know when you start losing it's like all right
09:17let's hold this guy because we might need him for trade bait you don't want him to get bagged up

09:21anything but yeah um i mean i think with how the giants are kind of kind of going right now

09:29know having to pay cave on for 14 14 and a half for this one year that would be a

09:35actually kind of look at if it could be done that would be a trade that if i was denard

09:41new giants defensive coordinator i would look at that to get another freakishly athletic guy that
09:45can bend break or burst and come off the edge into will mcdonald but you got our arvel reese you're
09:51sticking with it final thoughts so we can yeah yeah a gun to my head yeah that's gonna be the
09:55pick for
09:55the jets all right uh let's go number three and we'll go three uh with the with the arizona cardinals
10:03they take francis muagua tackle from miami the youth they get their tackle obviously that's good
10:10we can move on to number four with what the titans are going to do because they just they just
10:15got an
10:15edge traded away some beef at nose tackle what do you think the titans are going to do at four

10:21unfortunately because i want this guy they're going to get who i think is the best defensive
10:26player in this draft and that's david bailey oh jermaine johnson lawrence taylor jr oh my gosh

10:42imagine that jermaine johns taylor jr jermaine johnson and david bailey coming off the edge you got

10:52that uh things are moving now you could have bailey and johnson on the same side of the ball too
10:57and you have bailey coming off the edge oh man right inside i give credit to giants defense
11:02coordinator shane bowen they fired him but i like that like the two man picking roles that he was
11:07running with like it would be like a abdul and brian burns or stunts with brian burns and dexter lawrence
11:14absolutely love it salah's back in his bag calling plays again because he's like if i'm gonna go down
11:19with the ship i'm going down with my ship i'm the captain now or the captain again which leaves us
11:25ladies and gentlemen to number five at number five the new york football giants established 1925 by

13:20they both can catch they both are battering rams cam scadaboo's a little bit more of a battering ram
13:25but jeremiah love i you could put him anywhere he would be an instant mismatch and then you see i

13:53actual offensive coordinator coordinator in me is gonna be like no this kid's about to go for 70
13:59and think about what it does to the defense think about how demoralizing it is when you're just getting
14:03beat up by scadaboo and then all of a sudden you got to worry about jeremiah love out of the
14:08back

14:14lions did with gibbs and montgomery that's a good way to do it thunder and lightning there you go right
14:20there brennan jacobs and my right yeah you can you can start and you need that in new york man

14:32to your running back and letting him take it for 30 40 50 yards boost up your numbers a little

15:35that and you want to push the football down the field nothing's there now instead of jackson dart
15:41thinking i've got to scramble for eight to 13 to 16 find the check down there's love leak him late
15:49he's one-on-one he is going to make that first guy miss in space maybe not in the box
15:54but in space
15:56now you've got eight 11 13 and could even be a home run hitter at a 50 plus yard game
16:02and you see
16:02what john harbaugh saw in derrick henry in baltimore i don't know tracy's good don't get me wrong but
16:10he's going to want to beef that up that room a little bit yeah tracy's on a rookie deal so

16:14not like you paid totally it's not like you paid him and i believe that john harbaugh would want a
16:18three-headed monster matt nagy three-headed monster absolutely at running back because if one of those
16:23guys go down like we don't know what scott's going to be like coming off of this injury he looks

16:28he's he's walking well he's already uh put it out there that he's running we don't know if he's
16:33going to look like the scat that when we turned on that tape during the college football playoffs
16:38this man went off is he going to be the scat that you know had the big runs he never
16:44had a hundred
16:44yard game before he got hurt but he had a couple big runs in there you know against the cowboys
16:49when
16:49he kind of stepped onto the scene and when he took over during that eagles game on that thursday night
16:53football win but he was never that explosive home run hitter the giants have not had a guy that you
17:01could turn around hand the ball off on an iso on a wham or a counter tray and then you

17:08neighbors you know you see the receivers get the little lazy block and then we put our hands up like
17:13we did something because we know all we had to do was get in front of this defender and the

18:38guys but um get into these guys at six through six through 15 really quick so we have reuben bain
18:44still going seventh um reuben bain's arm length is a big big concern we don't have to get too much
18:50into it uh i think we have him going seventh here we're assuming that teams aren't going to take that
18:56too seriously i think it's a problem um i think his size is a problem i'm not a big measurements

19:02per se but when you're under 31 inches arm length there's a problem um you're gonna get stuck to
19:10offensive linemen he's a very physical edge the offensive linemen the nrfl are different than what
19:16they are in college so uh i think he's gonna go outside the top 10 because of that but the
19:23commanders
19:23need uh edge rush they need they need they need they need a mean pass rusher that defense is a
19:29little
19:29soft so i you know you bring him in so we're assuming that we'll see what we do next week

21:01messes up i feel like what the giants are going to do at 37 in that second round it's going

21:08to be aggressive and get a defensive player a really good one and back into the first round yeah i

21:14you're going to have a runoff at corner at some point in the first round once one guy goes another
21:20team that's looking at corner their guy may have gone they get the next guy available and then the
21:24another team comes in so i think you'll see a runoff at corner but um so we're done with those
21:29six to fifteen yep at 16 last week i took one of my favorite offensive players this week i'm also
21:38taking one of my favorite offensive players in this draft i'm taking the best wide receiver in this
21:42draft at 16 stop it i'm going to take already off the board no no i'm taking my my favorite
21:47wide
21:47receiver i'm taking jordan tyson man okay listen jordan tyson does everything that you'd want a
21:57receiver to do on a football field the way he tempos his routes the way he can play underneath
22:02can play over the top his catch radius he's got a little bit of of your boy odell in him
22:08okay he's
22:08got a little bit of jamar chase a little bit of garrett wilson he's got a little bit of all
22:12those
22:13things that you look for and i think when you look at wide receivers today in the nfl you really
22:17want
22:17a guy that really has multiple levels to his game i think with carnell sometimes he could just be a
22:23down the field guy even though he does operate in the intermediate um it well you want someone that
22:29can go underneath across the middle and deep you don't just want uh you know those the old days of
22:34saying oh someone's six four they run a streak and that's your wide receiver one yeah those days are
22:38you gotta be able to run the tree now you know that's why makai lemon's always always an
22:42interesting pick too there um but uh i'm going jordan tyson he missed a lot of games due to injury
22:48uh if he didn't miss games due to injury i'm telling you he'd be the he'd be in the top
22:52five
22:52he'd be the first wide receiver off the board no doubt about it because his tape is that impressive
22:56it is um and the jets need a wide receiver next to garrett wilson they need someone that's going to
23:01help out the quarterback this year and the future at quarterback for the jets whoever that is
23:05um and um that's that's how it's going to go man but do do you want to help garrett wilson
23:11with
23:12garrett wilson light or or diet it's interesting he is a lighter he's the light beer version of
23:19garrett wilson remember i don't know about that g5 came in stepped in in 91 what 91 catches as a
23:24rookie
23:25in his rookie year yeah one offensive i feel like these are two of the same type receiver they are
23:30but
23:31the difference is 11.7 yards per catch doesn't get you first round doesn't get you drafted in the
23:37first round if with especially when you have injured a history of injury as well love the eight
23:43touchdowns i love the kid he's i mean he could put his foot into the ground and get vertical like
23:49he's
23:49he's nice absolutely love him but if you're garrett wilson is that who you want on the opposite side
23:56like don't you want a don't you want a compliment a guy that compliments you not pretty not the same
24:02type of receiver as you absolutely a fair point um i will say this i think there's a level of
24:09garrett
24:10wilson's game down the field as a deep threat yeah that we have yet to unlock i think garrett's been
24:16asked to do everything but and we have yet to unlock that deep threat i think jordan tyson being as
24:22crafty as he as he is across the middle and underneath we'll open things up for garrett deep
24:27there's your any intermediate route runner here's the guy that i'm gonna flash across the safety's
24:32face to get him to jump now you got the backside pull us off of max protection absolutely he okay
24:37so how many how many catches do you see jordan tyson stepping into this frank reich offense year one
24:43as a rookie i think you're gonna get 60 catches 60 something like that nothing nothing crazy i don't
24:48think it's not gonna go off i mean i don't even know the quarterback is at this point
24:52you know if you let's say let's default like jacoby brissette at quarterback let's say brissette
24:57gets 3 000 yards passing 22 touchdowns i think i think tyson will give you 60 catches you know 750
25:05yards four or five touchdowns i i think he will and you team that up with garrett who's gonna get
25:10around 1100 maybe seven touchdowns i think you know you'll you'll have something there then the next
25:16year is where things get really interesting if you're able to get a quarterback okay so let's look at
25:20let's what what the giant the jets offense could look like garrett wilson at the z tyson at the x
25:26mason taylor at the tight end position breece hole breece hall on a transition tag something like that
25:33yep question mark at the quarterback does do those if you're playing mad you had it you're a defense
25:40coordinator you got a scheme against those playmakers does that keep you up at night
25:47um the quarterback no i'll sleep okay without without having to deal with the question is that
25:54question mark okay turns into arch manning now we're cooking okay all right now we're cooking
26:00now we're some serious and you got the bookend tackles so you have your boys up front you have
26:06your boys up front you know that help you out offensive line give arch or whomever the quarterback
26:10is next year i think the jets do not not to get too much into it it is a draft
26:14show um they need to
26:16look at quarterback not this year next year so people have said like get ty simpson at 16
26:22bringing him up again new rule take a shot every time that frankie mentions the name people don't
26:27realize when i come in the new that's the new rule right there when i come into the post offices

26:33always bring up to brandon i go oh man the giants should get ty simpson i give jackson dart some

27:26we're going to bring up the back half uh of this nfl draft after 16 and here's what happens because
27:32i have the new york football giants joe shane who is i'm still the gm of this team i didn't
27:40get demoted
27:41joe shane's trading back into the first round and here's why they're going to trade up to get the 24th
27:49overall pick and they're going to trade with the browns the giants get the 24th the browns get similar
27:56to what they did what they traded for jackson dart last year the 37th overall pick in the second round
28:02105 and then a 2027 third round pick and their their fingers are they're crossing their fingers
28:10because this is a guy that we did not think was going to fall but every year somebody falls whether
28:18you're whether you're smoking marijuana and a gas mask whether you your dad is coach prime every
28:24year somebody falls see or no i'm working on my spanish see see see see see the person who's going
28:31to fall this year and when someone falls people want to trade up for that person when someone falls
28:37this is what's made to come up so i said earlier the three corners off the board then there's three
28:42receivers that are off the board and uh you already took jordan tyson uh denzel boston is gone uh kc
28:50concepcion gone who does that leave the giants to go and grab i need a linebacker to pair up with
28:59bobby okara k all i want bobby okara k to think about to focus on this year attack attack attack
29:05play the run
29:06i'm gonna go get him a will that has the will to move around and make plays the giants with
29:14the 24th
29:15overall pick in the 2026 nfl draft have traded up to grab linebacker do it all guy sunny styles
