00:00A blizzard Sunday night and Monday will shut down travel. Strong winds and heavy snow will cause
00:06whiteouts. And we're looking at snowfall rates of at least one to three inches per hour. And of
00:13course, this is going to have a huge economic impact where the blizzard occurs. The major
00:18airports will be shut down in the Monday. That will cause a ripple effect nationwide in the
00:24aviation industry. Businesses, schools and roads will be closed. There will be power outages.
00:29And substantial tree damage. It's a large area of heavy snow. In fact, a foot or more of snow
00:37from Philadelphia, New York City, Boston towards the coast. The epicenter where we can see two feet
00:44of snow will be across parts of coastal New Jersey, Long Island and southeastern Massachusetts. And
00:52within that pink area or even in the blue area, you're going to see snowfall rates up to three
00:57inches per hour. Wouldn't be shocked if we had four inches per hour in a few spots. And the wind
01:02is
01:02just going to continue to increase Sunday night in the Monday. Southeastern Massachusetts, Long Island
01:09and even coastal New Jersey easily wind gusts over 50 miles per hour. We'll have wind gusts over 40 miles
01:15per hour in Philadelphia, over 50 in New York City. And of course, with that wind, we're looking at not
01:21only localized, but regional and widespread power outages.
