00:00The National Football League has a problem, and that problem is Steve Tish.
00:04What does the National Football League do with this man's name being involved in the Epstein emails?
00:11The National Football League does not like any dents to the shield.
00:16Look at what they've done over recent memory here with guys like Jerry Richardson,
00:20who ended up having to get rid of the Carolina Panthers.
00:24Also, with Daniel Snyder, on how his behavior was inside his building with the Washington Commanders.
00:30Steve Tish's name has been prominently displayed in the Epstein emails.
00:36He is a part owner of one of the most historic franchises in all of American sports,
00:43not just the National Football League, and the New York Giants.
00:46The New York Giants, I grew up with this franchise, and I grew up, folks,
00:51I grew up around the New York Giants.
00:54My uncle is a member of their Hall of Fame and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame
01:00with Andy Robustelli.
01:02And when you've got things like this going around that franchise right now,
01:06they just make a change at head football coach, and now they're bringing in a guy like this
01:11and sitting here and saying that there's a problem with the behavior of Steve Tish with Jeffrey Epstein.
01:17What does Roger Goodell do?
01:19Listen, the National Football League also has an issue with Jay-Z.
01:24Jay-Z heads much of the entertainment like he did when it came to the Super Bowl and the halftime.
01:31Jay-Z's name is being prominently mentioned in these Epstein emails.
01:35And every time the commissioner of the National Football League has been asked about these relationships,
01:41he kicks a can down the road.
01:43Guys, this is a black eye on the league.
01:47And whatever the court of public opinion has said, remember something about the National Football League.
01:53Every single time that there's a football player that gets involved with any issues,
01:58what's the commissioner do?
02:00He automatically goes to the lower desk, and he goes to that lower draw and puts people in the conduct
02:06detrimental to the league file
02:08and says this player here will be sitting out, and this player here will take, again,
02:14we'll take all the information and we'll decide on what we're going to do for punishment.
02:17If it's a one, two, three-game suspension, the NFL has no problem doing that.
02:22But any time you have a guy with a bat and ball and a guy like Steve Tisch,
02:26this is the problem that you have with the National Football League.
02:30When you look at some of the owners, go back, and God rest his soul,
02:34Jim Irsay was pulled over a couple years ago.
02:38He had $35,000 in his car, and he had open Oxycodone bottles in his car.
02:44What did the league do?
02:45Nothing.
02:46They did nothing.
02:47Player does that, the player gets castrated when it comes to
02:51how the league will look at that.
02:53How is the National Football League kicking this can down the road?
02:57The president, and I'm not making any political statements here,
03:00the president of the United States is constantly and daily inside the conversation
03:05when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein.
03:08You have now Steve Tisch's name being prominently mentioned in that emails
03:14and all the things that have come out.
03:16What's the league going to do here?
03:17Are you just going to sit back and kick that can down the road?
03:21Absolutely not.
03:23He must go if there's any involvement whatsoever with him and his behavior
03:29with Jeffrey Epstein.
03:31Remember something about the National Football League.
03:33This comes down to the court of public opinion.
03:37The National Football League, all the stuff they did with Colin Kaepernick,
03:41all the stuff that they've done in their past,
03:42when it comes to the court of public opinion,
03:45that's how the National Football League goes through their business.
03:48They don't want any dents on the shield.
03:51The shield is the most important cash register in American sports,
03:56and they don't want any issues when it comes to how the shield is presented.
04:02But yet you sit here, and any time a name like Steve Tisch gets brought up,
04:07to me this is something that's personal.
04:10My uncle played in that franchise.
04:11My uncle played for that football team, and he played for Wellington Mara.
04:16Wellington Mara was one of the greatest owners in professional sports,
04:20and he was a centerpiece in what the national football looks like today.
04:25That's how important he is.
04:27And now you have this issue, and the commissioner,
04:30and Park Avenue is not addressing this.
04:33You can't just kick this down the road.
04:36You must address it.
04:37And, again, if there's any issues whatsoever on hurting the shield
04:43and hurting the promoting of the National Football League,
04:47Steve Tisch has to go, and he has to sell his shares
04:52because the New York Giants are one of the most important franchises
04:56in the National Football League.
04:58They're one of the centerpieces in the NFL.
05:01Can't be involved in anything like this
05:04and anything that hurts the shield.
05:07No question about it.
05:08I mean, guys, I love the Giants, and I grew up around the Giants.
05:13I put cones up at the Yale Bowl when I was a young kid.
05:17Been around that franchise.
05:19Can't have this around that franchise
05:21with all the behavior issues that are coming up with those Epstein emails.
