00:24And, you know, these two years that he's been eligible, you know, when we're voting, we have 15 finalists, and
00:31it's reduced to 10 before we get to seven, and he hasn't even made the reduction to 10 the last
00:38two years.
00:39Next year, Ben Roethlisberger comes in.
00:42You know, Philip Rivers would have been in this class that we're going to be considering, but by him playing,
00:48that gave him another five years.
00:50But, you know, coming down in a few years, it's going to be Tom Brady.
00:53So, yeah, I think it's going to be tough for Eli, and I think people look at it and say,
00:57it's not enough just to be on two Super Bowl-winning teams.
01:00Your whole body of work is a big part of it.
01:02And he was a very good quarterback, but there are some believe that what he did over the course of
01:07his entire career didn't rise to a Hall of Fame level.
01:10Yeah, I mean, if you look at his record, I mean, he's won 17-1, 17-1.
01:15I mean, the last 10 years of his career, Howard, I mean, they were under .500 as a starting quarterback.
01:23And, again, like you said, I mean, I get it.
01:25The two Super Bowl MVPs, the two Super Bowls, you know, Jim Plunkett has won two Super Bowls, and he
01:32also won an MVP.
01:33He was a rookie of the year back in the day.
01:35So, especially like you said, with the way you guys are pinned in right now, boy, I got to tell
01:41you, I think it's going to be a really tough putt there.
