00:00And let's start by talking about those talks that have been taking place in Geneva.
00:04Well, the two sets of talks, but let's talk about the Iran U.S. talks.
00:09We're told they reached an understanding on what they said.
00:13The two sides were the main guiding principles.
00:16But it doesn't sound like we're anywhere close to reaching a deal.
00:20Is that your reading of where we are right now?
00:22So, Tom, I think that's a fair reading and I share it.
00:25But essentially, what's usually done during these negotiations is they develop a framework.
00:30So what it is they're going to be discussing inside these negotiations doesn't mean they've gotten to, you know, 0
00:38% enrichment, 3% enrichment.
00:41But they're going to talk about enrichment, for example.
00:43And that could also have essentially decided on whether to include ballistic missile production or support to proxy forces like
00:53Hezbollah.
00:54So that's likely what they're saying.
00:56They haven't said what the framework is.
00:58But then, of course, they've given the Iranians two weeks to come back with an agreement that the United States
01:04would be acceptable with.
01:05So we'll see now whether this is going to go forward diplomatically or militarily.
01:10we'll see you all at the next slide.
01:10We'll see you next time.
01:14You
