00:00This is the beginning, like you rightly said there, of the diplomatic process.
00:03How long do you envisage that diplomatic process going on for before we can actually see what is a robust
00:08peace deal on the table that everyone can look at and say, this is it and this is what we're
00:12sticking to?
00:12Well, of course, the challenge is there is still a mistrust.
00:15There is still expectations of both powers to be managed.
00:19The United States expectations really are looking for some sort of alignment from a broker, a honest broker like Pakistan,
00:27while the Iranians are looking for a trust.
00:30To really give up on key strategic things, particularly in rich uranium issue, which is a very controversial issue.
00:38They are shrewd negotiations.
00:40They will try to prolong the process.
00:42But eventually, I think the overall variables, particularly with the U.S. sides, they really want to see some sort
00:51of breakthrough coming during this.
00:55You know, we don't know the actual content of the deal that is going to be signed, but however, it
01:00envisage some sort of long pause, a ceasefire.
01:05During that process, the United States would love to have a constructing dialogue and see how best it can move
01:11forward on those controversial issues, which has so far defied any strategic deal.
